Producer Ekta Kapoor, the goddess of Indian television. The content czarina who has enthralled the audience with her powerful and unique content has opened up on facing s*xism in the industry. In a recent interview by a leading entertainment tabloid, Ekta reveals more about the rumors regarding her having temper issues on the sets.
Ekta said that there has been a history of male producers, directors on the sets who abuse constantly and are constantly losing their temper. She mentioned that she used to be assertive and further revealed that she was presented like a freak of nature because of that.
On facing s*xism, she said that I have been told by the people to use your dad, Jeetendra’s name for her company instead of her mom as he is more popular. She added that she faced s*xism to the point that not taking instructions from a woman was almost mandate apart from being constantly b*t*hed about.
