Bigg Boss OTT 3 has garnered significant attention since YouTuber Armaan Malik entered the show with his two wives, Payal and Kritika Malik. The unusual family dynamic has sparked discussions among celebrities and netizens alike. Now, ex-Bigg Boss contestant and advocate Sana Raees Khan has revealed that Armaan and Kritika’s marriage is illegal.
In an interview with the Indian Express, Sana Raees Khan discussed the legal aspects of Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik’s polygamous marriage. She explained, “Under the Hindu Marriage Act of 1955, in India, a Hindu man can have only one wife at a time. Polygamy is not permitted, and therefore, a second marriage would be considered illegal and not recognized under Indian law.”
Sana also spoke about the fame that Armaan Malik and his wives, Payal and Kritika Malik, have gained due to the show. She expressed concerns that portraying a Hindu man with two wives on a reality show could create confusion regarding the legality of polygamy under Hindu law.
“This might lead to misunderstandings among viewers about the norms governing marriages in Hinduism,” she said. She emphasized that polygamy is not recognized by the Hindu population in India and warned that such portrayals could spread stereotypes or misconceptions about Hindu marriage practices.
Armaan Malik was initially married to Suchitra, formerly known as Sandip Jangda. After their separation, Armaan married Payal just seven days after meeting her. Eight years later, he met Payal’s best friend Kritika and married her within a week.

They should care less about the legal status of poliamory than Armaan’s questionable mental adequacy. Who marries a person a week after meeting him? This man is at least for a psychologist, it’s evident he suffers from complexes, if not for psychiatrist. And so are his girlfriends for agreeing to this madness. A family of psychos, and they are raising kids 🤮
