Colors is expanding its time slot from 15th May 2017 with two new shows airing from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Thapki Pyaar Ki will be shifting to the 5pm slot. The two shows Savitri Devi College and Hospital and Bhaag Bakul Bhaag will have completely different storylines. Savitri Devi College and Hospital will star the handsome actor Varun Kapoor. He was last seen in Colors’ Swaragini as Sanskar. He will be playing the role of an intern doctor Veer, having a cool and witty side to his serious profession.
The story is set against the backdrop of a hospital. It will have aspiring doctors and their inspirational tales. The main track will be around the lead Saachi, who would try to fulfill her mother’s dreams by becoming a successful doctor. Saachi will have some hidden motives to join Savitri Devi College and Hospital, which will be revealed later. The head surgeon Dr. Anand will be adding complications in Saachi’s life. Viewers would remember the hit show Sanjeevani and Dil Mil Gayye, also having medical background in the story. This show will get comic elements, drama and well sketched characters. It will be an extravaganza added in Colors’ hit show list. The show stars Swardha Thigale, Varun Kapoor, Mohan Kapur and Shilpa Shirodkar in pivotal roles.
