Followers of the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein star expressed their disappointment on social media platforms, labeling the eviction as unfair. Many voiced their ire, criticizing the makers for inviting Divyanka on the show and then eliminating Vivek in the same episode.
During the ‘Shaadi Special’ episode, Divyanka appeared resplendent in her wedding attire, alongside Vivek, as they recreated their wedding vows on stage in the presence of judges, special guests Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi, and fellow contestants. However, to the dismay of viewers, Vivek was eliminated towards the episode’s conclusion.
Responding to a news report highlighting fans’ reactions, Divyanka Tripathi took to her Instagram story to express her sentiments, stating, “In all honesty, the beautiful moment didn’t remain that special after the result. Joy taken away in an hour’s time.”
Vivek, competing against wrestler Sangeeta Phogat, consistently showcased exceptional performances, even managing to give his best despite being unwell. Divyanka previously praised Vivek’s dedication, revealing how he continued performing on stage despite suffering from a cramp, illness, and high fever of 101 degrees, requiring medical assistance.
Expressing his disappointment, Vivek shared how he was deeply upset and shed tears after reaching home following his eviction.
