Swaragini was a show that started off as my favourite but then it turned into something so bad that it lost the crux of the story. It was supposed to show the beautiful bond of two step sisters who brought their parents together, it was supposed to show their life story, their love and how they “together” face the hardships. But first they turned Ragini into a psycho who’s obsessive one sided love for Laksh messed up so much, then they turned Swara into a perfect good woman and Ragini into perfect evil woman and them standing against each other. I do not want to offend SwaSan fans but it is true that SwaSan got a perfect story from them, from start till the end but Raglak never got that.
Not only that, I was also disappointed that my favourites SwaLak and RagSan didn’t turn out to be the final couples. SwaLak were perfect for each other, Ragini wasn’t supposed to come between them and RagSan…they had such a wonderful start but that revenge game destroyed it all.
That’s why I am starting this FF. It’s gonna be a lot similar like the show but it will exactly what I wanted it to be. I really hope that the following prologue will gather good feedback that will encourage me to continue this story.

Prologue
A 10 year old Swara sighed as she looked at her Dida fighting with their neighbour and as usual it was baseless, meaningless and only two words stand out “Bangalan” and “Marwaran”. She thought about her teacher who taught her that one shouldn’t judge the other on the basis of caste, religion and gender, weren’t the elders taught the same thing? Swara’s gaze fell over her sweet and shy classmate and neighbour Ragini, it was her Dadi with whom her Dida was fighting.
Ragini, even though a year younger than her was extremely intelligent that’s why they both were in same class. Swara waved towards her and Ragini responded back with a sweet yet hesitant smile. They never talked too much because the only time they are together is the school time, once back home their grandmothers forbade them to talk with each other.
Swara wrote something on a paper and passed that to Ragini without getting noticed. Ragini giggled as she read that note, “Help me with Maths!” It wasn’t a request. Ragini shook her head and gave Swara her maths notebook and again nobody noticed because they all were keenly watching the old grandmothers fight.
Swara gave Ragini a flying kiss and ran inside her home so that she could finish her homework fast. Ragini smiled at her retreating figure, even though they only got less time to interact but there was this deep connection that tied them both together. Believe it or not, Swara was Ragini’s best friend. And no matter what will happen they will be together like this forever.
