EPISODE- 8

Shivay went to office. He looked back at Anika and did his hair setting step. Anika smiled within herself. OmRu saw that and looked at each other.

The meeting started at its time. Everyone was awesomely happy to see Shivay back and attending the meeting. A broad smile appeared on everyone’s face.

“Sir…for this project the amount of money that is required is much high…if we go on with it…we might face loss rather Mr. Malhotra has a far better deal for us” a staff informed showing some stocks and market rating’s slide. Shivay analysed those.

Some time passed. Shivay looked at every curious face while reading the file submitted to him.

“Hmm…so as far I understood, these papers means we should cancel the deal to get Mr. Malhotra’s deal…but if I am not wrong we have already spent a huge amount in setting up the site..and now you all think that we must leave it and shift to another one?” Shivay taunted.

“No…no sir… I was just saying there is much more profit in Mr. Malhotra’s deal” the staff said.

“Well in that case we will take up that deal too…what is the problem?” Shivay asked.

“Sir… Malhotra Group of Industries and Raichand Industry are well known rivals so Mr. Malhotra said that if we are ready to work on his deal then we have to leave Mr. Raichand’s deal.” The staff answered looking down.

“What the hell…why should we face loss for that damn Malhotra Industry?” Shivay shouted getting up.

Mr. Malhotra who was sitting silent at the other corner smiled listening to this.

“Well..Mr. Oberoi I don’t think you are interested in working with us…okay leave it…you are only kicking your profit” Mr. Malhotra said and got up. He went to leave but held back after listening to a very familiar voice.

“Mr. Malhotra we are interested to work with you” came a voice as the door shut open.

“How dare you come to my office and interfere like this?” Shivay asked.

“Listen Shivay…this office is my work place too… so just stop and let me sort this out.” Anika gave it back in the equal tone.

Shivay glared at Anika but without bothering it she went towards Mr. Malhotra “listen Mr. Malhotra…you also know and we also know…this project is one of the huge profit project of this year…rather say next year…and you also don’t want to loose the alliance with Oberoi’s so why creating such drama of rivalry??” Anika asked while Malhotra stared at Shivay who was still staring Anika with rage.

“Mrs. Anika…we have a reputation in the outer world…if we start working with Oberoi’s who are working with Raichand’s then our reputation might get affected” Malhotra answered.

“Malhotra sir…in this world of business if you have money then reputation increases automatically, if then also you have problem in signing the deal with us…then it’s yours problem not ours. I am giving you an hour to think, after that please state your last decision…thank you” Anika said and went out from the room.

All the staff belonging to Oberoi Group applaud aloud. Happiness was visible on their face. This pissed off Shivay more. He too followed Anika.

Half an hour passed by and Tanya reached to Shivay’s cabin panting.

“How dare you interfere in my matters” Tanya saw Shivay shouting at Anika.

“I  am not bound to answer you…I am going and after an hour completes let me know Mr. Malhotra’s decision” Anika said and walked away.

Shivay looked at Tanya with dull face and said “ohhh Anika…you are here…you sit I have some work” he said and went away.

More thirty minutes passed. Malhotra walked up to Shivay’s cabin to inform his decision but he was surprised to find just a girl sitting over there. Shivay and Anika entered Shivay’s cabin together. Tanya narrowed her eyes looking them together.

“What the hell…I said stay away from my matters” Shivay shouted.

“Listen Mr. Mishra has send me here…so better we both listen to what Mr. Malhotra’s decision.” Anika said.

“Shivay…I gave a second thought to my decision of not approving the deal…but I think Anika was right… reputation is a thing which people gets from good works and if we both complete the project together then we might earn a very nice profit…so I am signing the deal” Malhotra spoke as broad smile appeared on Shivay and Anika’s face.

Soon the papers got signed from both the sides while Tanya kept on looking Shivay and Anika’s deeds. After Malhotra went out of the cabin she asked “Shivay…why didn’t you question once to Malhotra when he took my name for Anisa?”

Shivay looked at Anika. “Actually… actually I…I was happy for his decision right…so maybe I just missed it…next time when I meet him I will surely teach him a lesson…now…let’s go back home…I am feeling tired” he answered.

“Anisa…let’s go” Shivay said.

“No…I brought my Champa…you both go together” Anika said.

Shivay and Tanya walked forward.

“Why did you ask her to go back home with us?” Tanya asked.

“Her words really helped in getting the deal so out of sense of respect I asked… nothing else and why are you questioning so much?” Shivay questioned her back.

“No… nothing…by the way tomorrow is last day of 2017 so shall we arrange a party…for welcoming 2018 and also for getting the deal.” Tanya said smilingly.

“Yeah sure…why not? I will ask Khanna to arrange everything” Shivay said and they drove back to Oberoi Mansion.

While Anika stayed back completing some other works. Anika reached home really late that day. When she entered her room she found Shivanya sleeping cuddling to her father and Shivay to sleeping peacefully. Smile appeared on her face. She went close to them and dropped kisses both on Shivanya’s and Shivay’s cheek.

“In this cheek too…and here too” Shivay said pointing his other cheek and forehead. She dropped kisses there too.

“Anika…you get freshened up, I am going to get food for you” Shivay said getting up.

“But Shivay…” Anika tried to say something but Shivay cut her in middle “don’t worry…I will go soon and come back super soon” Shivay said.

Anika got up and went to washroom while Shivay went to get food for her. He came back with food and looked his khidkitod biwi applying sindoor on her hair line.

“Hey stop…i will do” he said. She stopped and smiled looking at him.

He put the plates down on the tea table and went near her. He looked into her eyes and applied the sindoor.

“Thank You…” He said after dropping a kiss over her forehead.

“What for?” She asked innocently.

“For being there with me every time” he said and hugged her. She too reciprocated the hug.

“Have the food now…no wait I will feed you” Shivay said making her sit on the sofa.

“You have to eat with me…I know you have not ate anything” Anika said.

“Who said this to you?” Shivay asked preparing a morsel.

“I have my own detectives” Anika answered winking.

“Yeah yeah I know them” Shivay said and extended the morsel. She too extended another morsel. They both took those in there mouth together looking at each other’s eyes.

“Ahhh…” Anika said aloud and gave a frowning look at Shivay while he was busy laughing his heart out.

“It hurts…” she said rubbing her finger which Shivay has bitten some moments ago while she was feeding him.

“I know…” he said and took her hand and stared at that finger and then at her. He dropped a kiss followed by some more kisses while Anika blushed and looked down.

They finished the food soon and went to bed.
