TV industry is very dynamic. The actors have to work round the clock to meet the schedules. The sets are made, changed, sometimes they topple due to circumstances and then are remade to keep up with the need. Something similar has happened on the sets of Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet. The set of the show had an unfortunate incident. One of the makeup rooms on the sets caught fire due to the short circuit. The short circuit led to an AC blast in the room which eventually turned into a fire. However, it was fortunate that nothing on the sets was damaged. The actors had to evacuate but soon everything returned to normal.
Talking about the incident, Ashi told Etimes, “Yes in the morning, a fire broke out in one of the make-up rooms on the set. It could have been due to a short circuit, but they are inspecting the area and we will soon come to know the real reason. No one was hurt but the entire room got burnt. We have resumed shooting. The fire broke out when we were shooting and no one was in their make-up rooms. Fire broke out in actor Susheel Singh’s make-up room, he plays the role of Sarkar in the show, but he is safe and everyone else is also safe.”
The whole cast including the leads were shooting when the incident occurred. There were no casualties recorded on the sets. Everyone was safe and were not harmed by the fire. The show stars Shaguun Pandey and Ashi Singh in titular roles and there was buzz that there is a leap that might be expected soon. And after the leap the leads might quit the show. But till now the leap is still not confirmed.
