The first day of the New Year…the first day of a new life
Oh, this is how Pragya is here it seems. After this, is the real game of destiny. So let’s see what Pragya is going to do, and how it turns out.
Pragya’s POV:
See, I am now sitting here, getting ready for the party tonight. It is 31st December, 3:42 pm, and he can call me any time now.
(She takes the dress Abhi had gifted her, to wear for that night.)
Uff…I don’t even have the freedom to wear sth of my wish. You might be wondering—on why I am still listening to Abhi. Even I feel the same. I can simply walk off, but it’s not as simple as it seems. He thinks he wants me to obey him…but he didn’t realize that he actually needs me to obey him. He did realise it last time, but it was too late and now, I don’t want him to realize it. If it happens, again I will be the reason for his troubles. God knows, what next drama that Tanu will stage!
Again, I didn’t know why, but when he refused Tanu and called me, I felt happy. I thought I had moved on, but his one move brought me back to square one—now I am again ready to do anything for him, also WITH him now.
After this I don’t know what is going to happen. I leave everything in the hands of god. All those that happened till now is what I know. What comes next, only god knows—sorry, I am a bit too much anti-atheist.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….Pragya dressed herself and came out wearing the gorgeous black gown Abhi had given her. Hmm…not bad, Abhi had tortured Andy a lot it seems. The outfit was neither revealing nor modest…it was just—PERFECT!!!—just the way Pragya wanted. She rolled her hair into soft curls and wore minimum make up. Her lips were full red, cheeks naturally pink, lashes perfectly long and black that made no necessity for any make up at all. Her pink cheeks went splendidly with her radiant smile.
She looked at the box lying in one edge of the dressing table. She took it out to find a jewel set…long stoned earring with a red stone and a similarly designed necklace with the same red stone at its centre. Wearing all those, she admired herself in the mirror and thought of how Abhi had actually known her desires, tastes and what goes well with her. But she also had other questions.
Why is he even doing all these? Will all those–that she wished not to happen—actually happen? She had to avoid that, else Aaliya, who is now at least good to him will turn into the same old Dracula— as Pragya knows her to be.
She told sarla that she would be out for a New Year party, and no food need to be cooked for her.
(Sarla, the second most irritating positive character—after Daljeet Mehra, obviously—has now turned for good. She was one mother who always doubted her daughter, whether Pragya or Bulbul—a lady who never trusted on her own blood daughters, on whatever deed they did. Always shouting at them for no reason, nonstop lecturing on family, relations and trust but never following, screaming at her daughters for her misunderstandings…uff…but now, she actually follows what she preaches. Recently, when Pragya blurted out all her anger on her, she realised what wrong she did. She now completely trusts Pragya, not only by words).
Abhi came there to pick Pragya up and stood stunned. Then they both rode to the venue.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….It was almost 7 in the evening and people had started to pour in for the event. To Pragya’s sadness, Abhi had sponsored a minute part of the event—arey, he should get some profit, naa. What sadness in this? The thing is, he had actually allowed the event to occur in LONAVALA HOUSE of him!!!!
Pragya stood at the entrance, studying the house for one moment. How well it was, the last time they came here? She was lost, just to be dragged in by Abhi. It was a business and friends only party, so no sight of the Mehra mad people—haa, one good thing.
They both went in, hand in hand. Abhi maintained the distance, since because he was a boss. Though they are friends, it was no reason to go close to her—Abhi had a valid reason—and that is what Pragya liked in him.
Abhi had immersed himself with business talks and Pragya was standing with Purab, chatting and teasing him about Sira! But Purab was no less, he also managed to pull her legs by mentioning Abhi all the time he spoke. Then came the actual celebration.
It was 9, when couples were called to the stage—a dance—that is what Pragya needed now. Dancing with her ex-husband amongst various lustful pairs, where someone was drunk, while others left no chance to seduce their partners—oh, what more will she want now? Is this a new year party or valentine’s night? Pragya cursed the organiser.
Everyone were positioned in their places. Abhi stood in front of her, with his one hand on her petty waist and the other wrapped around her shoulders.
Tu safar mera, hai to hi meri manzil
tere bina guzara, ae dil hai mushkil
to mera khuda, to hi duaa mein shaamil
tere bina guzara, ae dil hai mushkil
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Abhi slowly slides his hands through Pragya’s bare back which sent her shivers. He catches her arms and swirls her around.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
mujhe aazmaati hai teri kami
meri har kami ko hai to laazmi
junoon hai mera, banoon main tere kaabil
tere bina guzaara, ae dil hai mushkil
ye rooh bhi meri, ye jism bhi mera
utna mera nahi, jitna hua tera
tune diya hai jo, wo dard hi sahi
tujhse mila hai to, inaam hai mera
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Abhigya swayed to the rhythm of the music, immersing themselves and getting lost into eternity.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
mera aasmaan DhoonDhe teri zameen
meri har kami ko hai to laazmi
zameen pe na sahi, to aasmaan mein aa mil
tere bina guzara, ae dil hai mushkil
maana ki teri maujoodgi se
ye zindagani mehroom hai
jeene ka koi dooja tareeka
na mere dil ko maaloom hai
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
All couples are dancing and love is in the air. The screen shows Sira and Purab—arey, he also came with his partner guys, remember? Only pairs allowed—Purab takes Sira’s hands in his. He folds his one hands back and twirls her around him in circles. The red anarkali that she wore is perfectly matching with Purab’s black suit with a red tie! Purab holds her by waist and lifts her from the land, and her legs rise drawing an arc in the air.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
tujhko main kitni shiddat se chaahoon
chaahe to rehna to bekhabar
mohtaaz manzil ka to nahi hai
ye ek tarfa mera safar…
safar khoobsurat hai manzil se bhi
meri har kami ko hai to laazmi..
adhoora hoke bhi, hai ishq mera kaamil
tere bina guzaara, ae dil hai mushkil
The song ends. Abhigya are in the typical end step—with Pragya bending and Abhi holding her in his arms in mid air.
They come to senses when claps echo all around.
Hi guys. Hope this was long. I definitely would wish to know what you all feel. Feel free to give me your views.
Love you all. Take care….
