Chapter 9 : confusion and suspicious
The chapter starts with kartik going inside and finds his naira opening her arms waiting for him to hug her and he goes and hugs her .
kartik (caressing her hair ): tum theek ho na ? aise kaise tum vahan chali gayi and yeh sab ho gaya ?
naira : voh kartik
FLASHBACK
when naira was going to the washroom
naira : jaldi se yeh wash karke bahar jati hoon , phir ghar bhi toh jaana hain
while she was talking to herself , she was pushed by someone . she couldn’t see the face . the person was wearing a black mask . she hit her headd on one of the box and started bleeding . she got up and found that the person has locked her in the generator room . the generator room was suffocated and hence i got unconscious.
FLASHBACK ENDS
kartik : par voh ho kaun sakta hain ? aisa kaun karega
naira : kartik kahiin koi mujhe…
kartik : nahi naira aisa kyun soch rahi ho , main pata karta hoon , you please rest you need it .
naira : par
at that point of time the doctor enters telling the nurse to inject naira as she is weak. kartik excuses himself and asks the doctor to come out with him and asks the nurse to not inject naira right now .
kartik : doctor yeh kiske liye naira theek hain na
doctor : umm mr. goenka actually she has hit her head , she is weak and as you told she has a brain clot history so its just a sedative so she can rest.
kartik : doctor naira doesn’t need a sedative i will take care of her .
doctor: umm mr goenka but
kartik : no doctor you just tell me when can we have her discharge ?
doctor :she can have it tomorrow
kartik : ok
kartik pov
i also feel that someone is trying to harm naira but who ? i did not say it in front of her as i knew that she would get worried and tensed and thats not good for her and upar se dadi and papa are also on the verge for separating us , uska bhi tension ! i have to find out who is it who pushed naira . i asked the doctor not to give her sedative because i dont trust it what if the doctor himself in included in the act?
kartik pov ends
kartik told everyone to go home and take rest but what he found wierd was that naitik wasn’t there in the hospital so he asked naksh
kartik : naksh papa kahaan hain ?
naksh : voh kartik papa ghar main he hain . humne unko kuch bataya nahin pehle he voh guilty thei ki naira ko unhone sach nahi bataya !
kartik found it weird as he is a father he should be here and papa must have sense it that something is wrong but he brushed off his feeling as he thought to go to naira as she needs him.
kartik : oh ok
kartik went to naira’s cabin an saw naira sleeping . a smile crept on his face . he went and sat there and caressed her face.
kartik : naira thank god you are fine . the earth slipped beneath me when i found you unconscious and i promise you the person who pushed you will try to come near you again and that time i will catch him . i know you are stressed you just got to know that you are an orphan and now this accident . i am just scared that i will loose you
naira : i promise that you wont , i will be there for you every time you need me and this sherni isn’t going to leave your side in this janm . iss janm toh kya agle 7 janmon tak mere saath bandhe ho tum and i won’t let you go .
kartik : toh tum uthi hui thi !!
naira : main mere mendak ke bina hospital bed pe kaise so sakti hoon , batana zara
kartik : accha ji .. udhar ho abh mujhe bhi aana hain yahan
naira : accha theek hain
kartik side hugged naira and they both slept cuddling into each other .
kartik woke up in the night and remembered that he had to give naira medicines . he went to his car to get naira’s medicine . he took the medicines and went back to the hospital and he was shocked …
