Hi This is VHM back with a new FF on IB couple SHIVIKA….A slow yet Subtle love story……..
This is completely off track FF on Shivika and a college life and post college life of Shivika based FF…nothing to do with the track of IB….May be few of you can relate to this….you all know the characters and few characters will behave the same way as in real IB…few will be different……The Beginning would be slow and may bore you, but as i always say these beginning episodes will be crucial to form the further story……..
Please ignore the grammatical and spelling mistakes…….Hope the readers would support me the same way as they have supported me till date……based upon the response on this Teaser/Prologue, i will be uploading the next episodes……

Shivaay called Tej and informed him about Anika’s decision….Tej agreed …..
———–HOSPITAL LOBBY
Media were waiting for Anika’s statement…….Shivaay brought Anika in wheel chair…Tia, Mallika, Sid, Daksh, Mamta, Madhuri, Rajni, Tej, Shakthi and Dadi were present….
Media ”Mam…”
Anika stopped them and spoke
Anika ”I know you all were waiting eagerly for my statement…and here i am…before you ask me anything…let me clear you something…whatever i am going to say is the only truth …none of the Oberois have forced me to give the statement…it was purely my decision to come infront and speak out…..”
Media ”then please let us know the TRUTH you are going to say”
Anika was into thoughts remembering the incidents
————–FLASHBACK STARTS
Anika took a turn into a lane and from opposite direction Shivaay’s car was coming …Anika looked at the car and recognised it as Shivaay’s …she looked and he was with Tia…Anika tried to take her scooty side way and thus slowed down….Shivaay on the other hand saw Anika and also tried to slow down , but Tia unknowingly pulled Shivaay’s hand while talking something…Shivaay’s control over the car slipped …hitting Anika…thus making the accident

Media ”mam…we are waiting”
Anika explained media what happened that day…..
Media ”That means..”
Anika ”before you take any other meaning and print or show rubbish…let me make it clear…neither Tia nor Shivaay did this deliberately…it was unfortunate that accident happened and my state is like this…they both are my classmates and why would they plan something against me…when we merely know each other for a month or more”
Media ”Did Mr.Tej Oberoi ask you to say this..did he offer any compensation , that you are giving this statement to us? you need not worry…we, i mean media will support you”
Anika ”look Mr.Reporter….if you are interested in printing false news then i am sorry you have come to a wrong place….and onemore thing….i have not for once spoken to Mr.Tej Oberoi Sir..neither did he offer any compensation and I am not expecting any thing of that sort..i am an independent girl who says only truth…and this is what is the truth…now please leave from here and stop bothering all of us…thank you”
Media was about to say something when Tej cut them off and said ”ALL THE HOSPITAL EXPENSES OF ANIKA WOULD BE PAID BY OBEROIS”
Anika turned with astonishment and a pinch of rage and spoke
Anika ”Namasthe Uncle…thank you for offering me help…but i am sorry i cannot accept it…i know this accident was not preplanned …so it’s not the fault of your son …hence i expect no help from you…i will and can manage the expenses”
This shocked the media as well as everyone else who were present there….Anika asked MMR to take her to the room….
Shivaay TAM ”Not bad Ms.Surpanaka…you are honest no matter what…but what you thought as truth is not the actual truth…Tia felt insecure and when she saw you coming from opposite direction , she deliberately pulled my hand….and this lead to the accident…i have already said about this to Bade papa , whom you think to be my father …he asked me to keep calm and no matter what i can’t go against him…but i promise, i will let you know the truth”
Dadi smiled looking at Tej, Shakthi and said
Dadi ”Tej, Shakthi …i have something to talk to you about Anika”
Tej ”about Anika?”
Shakthi ”but what maa?”
Dadi ”not now…let Rudra’s result come out first…then i will talk…also onemore thing…talk to the doctors and ask them to take the fees from Anika in installments…she cannot afford to pay the entire bill in one go, and she is not a person to take help from us…so i am thinking of helping her by this way…”
Tej ”i will right away talk to them”
Dadi ”but ensure doctors don’t utter a word about this to Anika…ask them to be normal”
Shakthi ”theek hain maa”
Dadi , Tej, Shakthi left to attend their respective works…….MMR stayed with Anika for some more time and left….dadi entered then
Anika ”Dadi ji…i will say something..hope you wouldn’t feel bad”
Dadi ”Anika puttar…i am all ears …i promise i will not feel bad because i know you don’t speak in such a way”
Anika ”Dadi ji…since the day of my accident till date you have ben coming here everyday, when it is the age for you to happily rest…i am feeling guilty about this…please dadi ji…don’t come here …i don’t want to trouble you…so please accept my request and stay back home”
Dadi smiled and said ”Puttar…as you say…i will not come from tomorrow…but promise me ..you will come to meet me often once you get better”
Anika ”pinky promise Dadi” she extended her little finger and continued ”i will come to meet you often”
Dadi too entwined her little finger…….Shivaay just then stepped in and saw Dadi and Anika smiling…..
Shivaay ”if your laughter session is done…shall we make a move Dadi…”
Dadi ”Billu…chal”
Shivaay ”Dadi…bade papa and Papa will take you home, while i stay back till OmRu and Prinku are here”
Dadi ”theek hain Puttar”
After Dadi left…Anika looked at Shivaay and said
Anika ”Mr.Ritchie Rich…you can also leave…no need to show this much concern for me…i already said everything to..”
Shivaay quickly closed her mouth and said
Shivaay ”Anika …THANK YOU…i mean …Ms.Surpanaka …Thank you….thanks a lot for clearing the confusion infront of the media….you don’t know but today i saw the relaxing faces of bade papa and papa , days after the accident”
Anika ”mmmm…mmmm…mmmm” she was struggling to speak as Shivaay still closed her mouth with his hands….
Shivaay ”ohh sorry…what to do you were not letting me speak”
Anika ”So you will close my mouth…now leave” she said trying to hide her smile
Shivaay ”okk fine…i thought …you are okay to talk to me and we can become friends …but”
Anika ”but in your dreams Mr.Ritchie Rich…now leave…i have to study”
Shivaay nodded his head in vexation and left from there thinking nothing can happen of Anika…….
OmRu and Prinku …who observed all this smiled looking at eachother and entered the room……Shivaay too came back…
Anika”now what Mr.Ritchie Rich? Why are you back?””
Shivaay “Ms. Surpanaka…i need to tell you a truth…so i came back”
Anika closing her ears and eyes spoke ” Om, Rudra…please ask your brother to leave…whatever the matter is …i am in no mood to listen right now”
Shivaay looked at her in disbelief but her every antic brought a smile on his lips…OmRu noticed this too….Shivaay left from there….Anika
Anika opened one eye to confirm Shivaay has left or not and after confirming she came to normal position….later Om and Rudra’s silly fun session started and Anika helped Om and Rudra in their studies while Prinku played with Sahil and had fun……
————-TWO DAYS LATER, UNIVERSITY CAMPUS
The results time soon arrived and to the shock of everyone Raghav’s name was written on the dashboard in the class thus declaring him as the topper in second internals…..as the ritual goes he was awarded the Golden egg and Raghav knew no bounds of happiness.
Shivaay was shocked to the core with Raghav being the topper and to add salt to his wounds Anika came second thus leaving him in third spot……
Shivaay left once again depressed for not attaining the top position though this time it was a good chance for him…he sat back retrospecting as to where he was going wrong…
————–HOSPITAL
MMR came to meet Anika directly from college and so did all the class students…..This surprised Anika much more……
Anika ”mamta all okay? why did all our class students come here?”
Mamta ”Yeah everyone wanted to meet you, after that honest statement to the press and media…everyone felt that you are genuinely good …..thus they came…now for God sake don’t be rude to them…not everyone is bad you know”
Anika ”okay okay…i understand” she whispered
Raghav came and sat there and as usual Rajni who has habit of spilling everything said Anika that Raghav was the topper in internals….Anika was taken by surprise as somewhere down the heart she felt Shivaay would top it…she started searching for Shivaay……But to her dismay he wasn’t seen anywhere…
Raghav ”Anika you are truly intelligent…had you been not prone to this accident , then even this time you would have topped…so you deserve this golden egg…i particularly came here to handover this to the rightful owner ”
Anika was moved by this gesture and said ”Raghav..thanks for thinking so …but i don’t deserve this…whatever might be my state i should have put more effort and should have taken it by right…congratulations and you deserve this”
Raghav forwarded his hand and Anika just smiled not willing to give handshake……Raghav felt a tinge of discomfort with this action of Anika……..
Later all the students wished her speedy recovery and left from there…MMR still stayed back…..
Anika ”Madhuri where is Mr.Ritchie Rich? is he okay?” for the first time she asked about Shivaay with concern
Madhuri ”Don’t know Anika….he was not seen after the class”
Anika ”okay..i would ask about him to his brothers Om and Rudra”
After sometime MMR too left and to Anika’s surprise OmRU and Prinku too didn’t come to hospital from that day , leaving Anika restless…..Everyday MMR used to come and meet Anika and stayed for sometime…from them Anika came to know that Shivaay was not coming to college regularly, after the internal results….Anika’s worries increased as she had no idea of what might have happened……
2 more days passed by and Anika and Sahil recovered …As instructed by Tej and Shakthi , Doctors agreed to take payment in installments from Anika and thus communicated the same to Anika….Anika was back to her chawl and her routine also started…….
—————-UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, CLASSROOM
Anika reached the college and took her seat…she was soon joined by MMR ..however her eyes were constantly looking for Shivaay as she hasn’t seen him for many days…unable to contain her restlessness …Anika walked down to Tia
Tia ”Anika …do you need anything?”
Anika ”Tia…i need to ask you something?”
Tia ”Yes”
Anika ”Do you have any idea where is Mr.Ritchie Rich? i mean where is Shivaay?”
Tia ”yes, i do have an idea where he is …but why are you asking and why do you want to know?”
Anika ”nothing…actually i wanted to ask about Dadi ji , Om, Rudra and Prinku…so was looking for him…and then got to know that these days he is irregular to college..so”
Tia ”Relax Anika…Shivaay and everyone else are doing good”
Tia TAM ”Why would i give you Shivaay’s details Anika…he is my best friend and i am possesive about my friendship…so sorry…i wouldn’t give any more information about him”
Anika ”Ohh okay…good to know they are fine..okay..so”
Tia ”So”
Anika ”So..nothing…i will take my seat now” she said being disappointed and left towards her seat
The whole day Anika was thinking about Shivaay and was concerned about him….she couldn’t realise that she was actually missing him….finally after the classes , she gave up her library hour and started towards Oberoi Mansion………
