FOR ME SHE IS MY LIFE – BROTHER’S LOVE – A VERY SHORT STORY
The scene starts with Shanaya returning to class late. She excuses .
“Excuse me sir, may I come in?”
“Shanaya , you are late today. Don’t do this again. Go and sit”
“Sorry sir.” She replies in a sad way and goes to sit in the last row.
A low smile spread throughout the class.
“Silent!”
Shanaya looks down.
-AFTER THE CLASS-
Shanaya comes out. A gang of boys tease her.
“Did you see her face when she came inside? It was like a rotten tomato” a boy says and everyone laughed.
Shanaya got angry. She turned at them with a red face.
“What did you just say?” She asks angrily.
“Oho see who has got angry!” They say and laugh again.
Shanaya starts blaming them, “so what? Don’t you get late to come? Is it something odd? What’s there to laugh in that?”
“Oh hello, you are nothing but just a simple girl ok. Don’t try to act smart” one boy replied.
Suddenly, someone comes there and slaps him!!
“How dare you to call her like that?” That boy screams!
The boy who teased replied, “so what? She’s just a girl. And who are you? Her boyfriend?”
That one who slapped replies in anger , “She maybe just a girl for you but for me she’s my life. And ha who are you to say all these?”
He turned to Shanaya, says , “Sis, let’s go” . Then he grabs her hand and leaves.
He’s such a caring and loving brother isn’t it? ?
