FLASH FROM THE PAST(ARNAV’S PAST):
SCENE-1
Days pass…Varsha falls for Arnav every single day…Everytime,he has protected her,motivated her,supported her…Made her laugh even at situations when she cant even smile…Varsha regards him as her sunshine…
Arnav too started enjoying her company…He enjoyed spending time with Varsha…He considers Varsha as a very best friend of him…He did not get the spark of love yet…
They are in their second year now…It’s a morning…They are in the class…It is the prof.Mehta’s class again…Nowadays,Sanjay behaves good and most of the time he goes out of the class without disturbing others…
Sanjay is with Varun in the class…Varun is angry at Varsha and Arnav as because of them only Sanjay slapped him..He wanted to take revenge on them…So he starts poisoning Sanjay’s mind against them…He triggers Sanjay…
Varun : Sanjay…I feel bad whenever I see Arnav and Varsha…Don’t u feel so?? They insulted u that day,right?? I can understand how u felt that day…But u turned ur anger towards me and slapped me…I thought u would slap Arnav for his taunts..But instead u slapped me…How can u leave them Sanjay?? They have so much attitude…They go against u…It is very bad…I don’t know why u don’t do anything with them…I thought u will make them pay for it…But u did not…I am really ashamed Sanjay…
Sanjay : Actually sorry for slapping u…I was angry at them and showed it on u…Very sorry for that..But why didn’t u ask this before?
Varun : I wanted to ask…But I was scared that u would get angry on me and slap me again…But I want to say something…If I were u,I would have killed both of them…
Sanjay : Do u think that I am scared of them?? (laughs) I am just waiting for the right moment…
Varun : But when will that come??
Sanjay : Who knows?? It can come after a year,or a month or tomorrow and it can be today too…(evil smile)
Varun : I don’t understand…
Sanjay : Just wait and watch..
Prof.Mehta arrives…All of them get up and greet him except Sanjay…He starts teaching…By then,Sanjay gets up from his place…He goes near the professor…
Sanjay : Mr.Mehta…U don’t have to take class..(He gets the book and chalk from his hand and keeps them on the table)
Prof.Mehta : But why??
Sanjay : I don’t feel like listening to u…
Prof.Mehta : If u are not interested,u can go out of the class…I wont say anything…
Sanjay : Very good…So u are sending me out of the class…How brave!!
The professor takes the book in his hand…
Sanjay : Hello…I am talking to u only..I said no classes today….
Prof.Mehta : I don’t have to listen to u…I have more portions and I have to finish them on time…(He opens the book and starts writing on the blackboard…Sanjay snatches the book from him)
Arnav,Varsha and some of the students get up from their places…Professor asks them to sit and he continues writing with the points from his memory…Sanjay gets angry on seeing this..He turns the professor to his side and raises his hand to slap him…Arnav goes and stops him by holding his hand…
Arnav : Don’t u dare to touch him…Else,all of us will kill u…
Sanjay : So,u are the saviour of this coward??(professor)
Arnav : Just get out of the class Sanjay…
Sanjay : Who are u to say that??
Arnav stares at him angrily…By then Sanjay hits him and pushes him..Arnav did not expect that and he falls on a table…He has injury in his forehead and he starts bleeding…Everyone is shocked to see that as nobody expected that…
Varsha goes to the peak of anger…She goes in front of him…
Sanjay : (smiles) Ask ur friend not to cross my path…And u too remember that…
He feels some burning sensation in his cheeks…YES…Varsha slapped him hard..Even before he could realize what is happening,Varsha charged him with back to back slaps…She stops slapping after her palms hurt and grabs him by his collar…She pulls him and takes him out of the class…She takes him to the middle of the ground and pushes him…He felt weak and fell down…Sanjay could not figure out what had happen moments before…He cannot hear anything and his head spun…He looked at the angry Varsha…
Varsha : Don’t u dare to come to the class again…Mind it…
Said Varsha and goes like a superhero…The whole college looked at the scene…Sanjay felt ashamed and he thought of dying at that moment…
SCENE-2
Vicky and Arnav comes to the college after visiting the doctor…Varsha goes to them…
Varsha : Arnav…Are u alright??
Arnav : Ya Varsha…Feeling better…
Varsha : Hmm…That’s good to hear…How dare he do that??
Vicky : but I did not think that u would do so…
Varsha : That moron needs such a treatment…He is crossing his limits and he must be punished..Now he would be ashamed and he would not repeat that…
Arnav : But Varsha…Did u think of urself??
Varsha : What Arnav??
Arnav : What if he does something?? Being a girl,how are u going to manage it??
Varsha : If he does something to me,wont u come for my rescue??
She looked him in the eye..He could not look at her..
Arnav : Of course,I will…But I cant be with u all the time nah??
Varsha : Ya…I know that Arnav..And being a girl,am I restricted from asking for justice?? Do u think a girl should never go against a man?? If it is bad,it is bad for all…Here the gender does not matter…And what can he do?? Kill me?? I don’t think he can do that…Moreover,I have u by my side…Then why should I fear??
Arnav : No Varsha…I am talking about…
Varsha : Forget it Arnav…Its getting late…Lets go to the class..
SCENE-3
Sanjay is with his friends…His eyes were bloodshot and he had tears…His face is red because of anger…
Sanjay : U know how I am feeling now?? The whole college was looking at me..It felt like their eyes are needles and they are piercing me..I cannot go to college hereafter…How can I face them??I cannot live anymore…I want to die…
Varun : Sanjay cool down…Just breathe…And why do u want to die?? I did not expect this from u…
Sanjay : What do u mean??
Varun : I mean…Why do u want to die?? Instead make her die…I mean Kill her..
Sanjay is shocked to hear those words..He gets thinking…
Sanjay : I think u are correct Varun…I am not a coward to end my life because of a girl…I must take her life…That is the punishment for her and that idiot Arnav..
Varun : (thinks) Yes…That is the punishment for them…Because of them only,I got slapped by Sanjay…Arnav and Varsha…U deserve this…Hahaha…I know that Sanjay can easily be infuenced..So I used him…Here,the plan is mine…But it is going to be implemented by Sanjay…And who will get the blame?? Of course…It is Sanjay only…Wow…What a game plan Varun!! U are a genius…
SCENE-4
Its evening…Arnav and Varsha comes out of the class..Arnav is upset…
Varsha : Oye…Why are u so dull??
Arnav : No…I am just scared..
Varsha : I asked u to forget it nah??(she fakes anger)
Arnav : Ok ok..Sorry…
Varsha : Actually…I want to go out with u Arnav…
Arnav : Today??
Varsha : Ya…Please please…
Arnav agrees…Varsha calls Meera and says that she would come to the hostel at night…They go out…
They go to the beach,then to the restaurant…Arnav was sad and he could not concentrate on anything…Varsha cheers him up…They go to a mall and play video games..
SCENE-5
Its 9 o’ clock and Arnav takes Varsha to her hostel…Meera calls her and tells her that she has lied to the warden that Varsha is ill and sleeping…She asks her to come through the back gate…Varsha asks Arnav to stop his bike in a nearby shop and tells him that she wants to walk with him…
Varsha holds his hand while walking…
Varsha : Arnav…I am really happy today…I stood for u today…I cannot bear anybody messing with u…Do u know?? I studied in a girls school…I have never been close to any man except my father…And u are the only man from outside whom I trust…Our first meeting was terrific…I did not think that I would be so close to u…And when I came out with u for the first time,I got back the old me…I used to be so chldish for which my mumma scolds me..U were the one asked me to be crazy and that’s what I liked in u…When I am with u,I forget about my family…I felt lonely when I came here…U and Meera were the two souls who made me comfortable…I can be the original me whenever i am with u…I am happy whenever u are around…I feel secured…And I feel complete now…I want to hold ur hand like this forever…I mean…I am in love with u Arnav…
She looks at him smiling…

Arnav smiles…Varsha leaves his hand..
Varsha : Ok…U leave Arnav…I will go…
Arnav : No Varsha…I will come with u…
Varsha : No problem…We have reached almost…U go…
Arnav nods…Arnav turns this side and goes…Varsha goes on the other side…
Varsha : I am so nervous…Finally I told him whatever I had to…I don’t know how will he react…I have to say this to Meera first…I cant wait to hear his answer…Oh God…When will the sun rise?? But I have to be strong even if it is a “No” from him…God give me strength…
By then Arnav calls Varsha…
Arnav : Varsha…
Varsha’s heart skips a beat…She thought he would say his answer…She turns to see him…
Arnav did not say anything…
Varsha : U called me,right??
Arnav : Hmm…Take care…See u…
Varsha : This is what u had to say??
Arnav : Ya…What else did u expect??(winks)
Varsha : Nothing…Get lost from my sight…
Arnav smiles and turns…
Varsha : He is such an idiot…Always finds happiness in making me angry…Did I ask him this see u and take care?? I have to kill him if it is a ‘NO’ from him…
Arnav’s pov :
The truth is I did not expect this from Varsha…But I like her so much…She is my bestest friend…Today,she stood for me…She insulted Sanjay for me only..She had taken risk only for me…I have to protect her…She trusts me…I cannot spoil it..And people say that love starts with friendship…So ours too is a tale of friendship turned into love…I cannot say ‘No’ to her…I cannot hurt her…So,I will say yes…I could have said that today itself…But I have to surprise her and tease her a little..So I will say my ‘yes’ tomorrow…So Varsha…Wait for tomorrow…I will make the day unforgettable…We will cherish that moment throughout our lives…I will make it worth telling it as a story to our children…And finally…I am in love…
His thoughts train broke when he heard Varsha screaming his name…He turns to see VARSHA LYING IN A POOL OF BLOOD…She was stabbed twice in her stomach…
Varsha screams : ARRRNNNAAAVVV….
Arnav runs to her…He stumbles and kneels down…Takes her head in his lap…His blood pressure falls and he starts feeling dizzy…He sees around and finds nobody…He is about to faint and somehow manages to call Vicky…Arnav does not know what happened next…When he woke up,he was in the hospital..
