Here’s some TV shows that are hit online but not high on TV ratings.
Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2: Suman Tiwari (Kanikka Kapoor) and Shravan’s (Mohit Kumar) love story was realistic. The show focused on an age-old army civilian clash, based in the beautiful city of Bhopal. It was different from season 1 but became very popular with fans. However, it was only hit with online fans and hence later it shifted on SonyLIV to entertain fans. As per reports in Filmi Beat, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2 was placed at number 4 and 27.7 points.
Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi: Another Sony TV show produced by Beyond Dreams has always been popular. The show never set the TRP meter on fire but the popularity is so much that the makers have recently launched the third season of the daily. Kuch Rang is a popular franchise that has established a strong emotional connection with the audience through its on-screen couple Dev and Sonakshi, lovingly addressed by fans as DevAkshi. As per the latest serial TRP updates, it ranked 0.5 on TRP charts in the first week of the launch and 39 in online TRP list. The show and the pairing had such a huge fan following that when the show went off air, the fans’ reaction caught everyone’s attention.
Ishk Par Zor Nahi: The popular Sony TV show produced by Four Lions Films Private Limited is a new-age young love story of two opposite personalities, Ahaan and Ishqi, who couldn’t be more different and share polarising viewpoints about marriage. The show starring Param Singh and Akshita Mudgal is set to go off air this week. The TV TRP was 0.4 in the first week. However, the show has been a hit online. In the first week, the online TRP was 25. The fans of IshkAan have been constantly trending and requesting the makers on social media to extend or stop the show from going off-air.
Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani: Shaurya and Anokhi’s love story which recently saw an end is being missed by fans. Hence, they have been creating different hashtags and trending on Twitter very often. The show was pulled down because of low TRP but when it comes to online popularity it was a hit.
Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai: Love of the 90s was pure, simple and innocent, which the lead couple Naina and Sameer portrayed with all its honesty on screen. Their characters on the show wooed the audiences and they became the best on-screen Jodi for their fans. However, the show starring Ashi Singh and Randeep Rai failed to grab TV TRPs but it was ranked high on online arena, as per reports in Telly Best.
Sanjivani: Star Plus medical romantic drama, Sanjivani 2 producer Siddharth P Malhotra’s banner Alchemy Films, which starred Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna returned with season 2 but failed to grab TRPs. However, it was surely a hit with online fans.
Well, all the shows had great storylines but because of weak TRPs they suffered. They are still a hit online and fans often binge-watch the shows.

I agree with you. The problem I feel in these shows is, they have good concepts but the story is not so promising. They overall deserve some 1.3-1.5 ratings. Other than that, Online TRPs are fake. Hotstar officially gave a statement that they never release Online TRPs and the same with other sites like Sony LIV. About Sanjivani 2, the story was definitely a mess after 30 episodes where they butchered so many characters to glorify the leads. In SAAKK, the beginning was promising, but later the story went out of focus. About IPZN, it was also problematic where a woman was admitted in a mental hospital by a her MIL and she was forgiven very easily. About KRPKAB, they are not showing the promised storyline and showing daily soap twists.
Thanks for your opinion and the time you took for writing this comment. I too agree with your statements.
