Gashmeer Mahajani, known for his standout role in the popular TV series Imlie, is set to embark on a thrilling journey by joining Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, hosted by the adventurous Rohit Shetty. This season promises to showcase Gashmeer’s fearless side as he tackles daring stunts and challenges.
Despite multiple invitations in the past, Gashmeer had to turn down the opportunity due to prior commitments. In an exclusive interview with India Today, he shared why he previously rejected the stunt-based reality show thrice before finally agreeing to participate.
Gashmeer revealed that his busy schedule had prevented him from joining Khatron Ke Khiladi in the past. He explained, “It’s the second or third time that we (the makers and I) have spoken about it. Earlier, I could not be a part of the show because I was shooting for something else.” This time around, the show’s producers reached out early enough for him to clear his schedule and commit to the dates reserved for Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
When asked about his preparations for the show, Gashmeer stated that he hasn’t planned any specific strategies. He believes that Khatron Ke Khiladi requires quick thinking and a sharp presence of mind, rather than pre-planned tactics. Reflecting on the previous season, he anticipates new and unpredictable challenges. His approach is to stay alert, focused, and rely on his instincts to navigate the stunts.
Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 has created a buzz with its impressive lineup of contestants, including well-known personalities like Abhishek Kumar, Asim Riaz, Niyati Fatnani, Shilpa Shinde, Karan Veer Mehra, and Aashish Mehrotra, among others. Rohit Shetty, the adventurous filmmaker, returns as the host, adding his signature flair to the show.
Initially, Samarth Jurel from Bigg Boss 17 was slated to participate, but an injury forced him to withdraw. Despite this setback, the contestants traveled to Romania to film their introduction videos, and Rohit Shetty joined them a few days later to kick off his hosting duties.
