Scene 1
Dhanak tells Mai that she is going out for work. Mai says where? Dhanak says I got a tip that Lakshmi is in this city so I have to find her. Mai says its your wedding, what about rituals? Dhanak says my duty is to solve this case too. She starts leaving but Nani and Mahindra comes there. Dhanak says I have to go. Mai says let us do ritual first. She calls Raghu and does their tilak, she makes Dhanak wear sacred thread. Nani says great work Savitri. Mai thinks now she cant go. Mahindra tells Dhanak that she cant leave house once this thread is on her hand. Dhanak says but I have important work. Raghu says listen to them, its about our wedding, please follow rituals, you can do work later. Dhanak looks on and says okay. Mai says great and smirks.

At night, Raghu is dressed for mehndi.

He sees Dhanak in lehenga and says you look great. Dhanak says you look good in Gujrati style. Raghu gifts her heart shaped pendent with their photos inside. He says this will remind you of me. He makes her wear it and moves closer. Dhanak sighs and kisses his cheek, she thanks him. Dhanak gets Geeta’s message. She messages her to keep working on Lakshmi case but Raghu ties cuffs around her and says this is love tie. Dhanak tries to message Geeta but Raghu pulls her on bed. Raghu throws cuffs key away. They are tied together. Dhanak says I have work. Raghu says I cant put your life in danger, we have sacred threads on so I cant let you go out. He tries to kiss her but Mai calls them. Dhanak says what about our cuffs? Nani comes there. They hide their hands behind. Nani says you both look so nice, lets go.

Scene 2
Dhanak and Raghu sits in mehndi function and hide their cuffs. Mai asks Raghu to sit in her lap, all laugh. Raghu says I want to enjoy all rituals. Mai says today is a special day, I hated this girl but I accept her as my daughter now. Mai says to Dhanak that I will welcome Dhanak as her Ayi and do all rituals as her mother, I will apply mehndi to her. Dhanak smiles. Sejal whispers to Dhanak that she changed in a day? Dhanak says changes happen overnight, feelings take over. Sejal says be careful. Dhanak says we should trust people so much that they dont break it, I never had my mother so I want to feel that feeling. Mai thinks that Dhanak can smile all she wants, I have to save myself from that case so I have to act sweet. She asks for other hand of Dhanak, she sees cuffs in Dhanak and Raghu’s hand.

PRECAP- Lakshmi calls Mai and tells her to comw down in chawl. Lakshmi meets her and says we have to find a solution to cope up with this case. Mai and Lakshmi enters a room but Dhanak and Raghu are already there.
