Actress Gauahar Khan recently took to her social media account to ask for the contact details of the 11-year-old Nalanda boy Sonu Kumar. Sonu recently appealed to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to help him with his education.
After watching the video of Sonu putting his points forward in front of CM and the media, Gauahar tweeted about Sonu and asked for his contact details so that she can help him with his education.
She tweeted, “What a bright boy ! Can I pls get to know some contact of him , I would like to sponsor his education. This boy is amazing . He has a vision , he is the future . Pls help !”
For the unversed, Sonu recently got an opportunity to meet the CM. He got his attention as he appealed with folded hands for his education. He said, “Sir, please listen to me for one minute. Please support me in my studies. My guardian does not want to assist me in my studies. Please get me admitted to a private school because the quality of education in my government-run school is not up-to-the-mark.”
After listening to the grievance of the schoolboy, CM immediately asked one of the officers to make necessary arrangements for the boy’s studies. Sonu later told media persons that he also wants to be an IAS or IPS officer.
Talking about his family, Sonu shared, “My father spends all his earnings on consuming alcohol. He does not have enough money so that I can get admission to a private school,” the boy said. The young boy currently gives tuition to nearly 40 children up to class 5 to meet his own expenses.
