After 7 years of leap, Savi is shown as a teacher teaching her students in Mumbai. She describes a story of Ganeshji via sand drawing from his birth, Shivji beheading him and fixing an elephant head instead, etc., and why Ganesh Chaturti is celebrated. After class, students’ parents praise Savi’s unique style of teaching. Principal introduces Savi as a newly appointed teacher. A parent asks Savi’s full name. Savi says she is Savi Bhosale. Principal says these are newly admitted parents and she wants Savi to clear their doubts. Savi says sure madam.
Isha waits for someone at a cafe. Shantanu calls her, but she doesn’t respond. He calls her Savi’s mother, and she responds and asks why is he shouting. Shantanu says he is shouting Isha since long
A student’s parent praises Savi’s unique style of storytelling to children and asks how many children she has. Savi says all the children here are like her children and her life is incomplete without them. Isha calls her and asks her to come home soon as she wants to relay a good news to her. Shantanu and Isha reach their apartment building and get into lift. Isha says she will get Savi ready so well that the boy’s family will not reject her at all. They get out of the lift and hear neighbour playing loud music. Ishaan feels headache again. Shantanu hurriedly opens their flat door and asks Isha to ignore the neighbour. Neighbour Mrs Thakkar does a garba dances with her oldies team on Kamariya Re Thari Kamariya.. song.
Isha says she will teach a lesson to neighbour today. She walks to Mrs Thakkar and switches off music. Mrs Thakkar asks who switched off music. Isha says she did. Their argument starts. Isha switches off music and Mrs Thakkar switches it on. Isha says she can’t play loud music in common area. Mrs Thakkar says even Isha keeps her book reading session in common area and disturbs others. Isha says she doesn’t know the value of book reading. Mrs Thakkar says even Isha doesn’t know the value of music, she believes in live and let live philosophy. Their argument continues. Savi asks Isha to let it go and says they will put cotton in their ears when Mrs Thakkar plays music and Mrs Thakkar will do same when Isha keeps a book reading session. She takes Isha from there while Mrs Thakkar continues to taunt there.
Back home, Savi notices a sari and says it’s very beautiful, why didn’t she bring it for her. Isha says they had visited a cafe today where she found a chit in fortune cookie that all her predictions would come true today. Savi asks if she called her for this. Isha says she found an alliance for her, boy is an investment banker and a perfect match for her. Savi asks if she informed him that she is a widow. Isha says she informed everything. Savi asks if she informed them that she cannot be.. Isha stops her and says she informed him everything. She asks Savi to go and wear this new sari. Savi wears new sari and looking at Ishaan’s photo says it has been 7 years since she separated from him; everything has changed in these 7 years, but she is same as he left her; a bit happy and a bit sad, creates stories; even aayi is trying to fulfil promise made to him and finding an alliance for her; they are happy as he wished, but everyday she thinks why he gave such promise to his parents; his aayi suffers from frustration, depression, etc., each day; she doesn’t mind someone rejecting her, but she can’t see aayi in pain; she doesn’t want to marry, but can’t explain it to aayi.
Shantanu walks ot her and says not only her aayi, even he wants to see her life settled. He asks her to get a smile on her face and meet the boy for everyone’s betterment. Savi is unable to smile. They reach restaurant to meet boy’s family. Shantanu says they came 30 minutes early again. Isha says they got a table because of it. She notices Mrs Thakkar in a nearby table and gets angry. Savi and Shantanu calm her down. Mrs Thakkar thinks if Ishaa came even there for book reading. Shefali enters. Isha waves at her. Even Mrs Thakkar waves at her. Shefali walks to Mrs Thakkar first. Shantanu says maybe Shefali brought Mrs Thakkar’s son’s alliance for Savi. Isha says she will push both Shefali and Mrs Thakkar away then and hopes the boy is not Mrs Thakkar’s son.
Precap: After 7 years, Savi tells a girl named Shaisha that his father has done pHD. Father comes to pick up Shaisha. Savi says doesn’t he think picking his child should be his first priority after school let off. Man says doesn’t she think that being a teacher, she should mind her own business and not try to act as a mother. Voiceover asks if the hearts will unite again.
