Neil asks Juhi to address him casually, and she agrees to try. As they talk, Neil’s cousins secretly listen in. He inquires about Juhi’s future plans, to which she replies that she has none and will follow whatever is decided for her after marriage. Neil encourages her to take control of her own life and make her own decisions, and Juhi agrees.
Later, Neil tells Juhi that he does not want to marry her, and she responds that she already knew. She acknowledges that he was hesitant about marriage from the start, but now she believes he has accepted it. Neil attempts to tell Juhi something important, but his cousins interrupt. Frustrated, he leaves after scolding them. Curious, Juhi asks Nandini what Neil wanted to say, and Nandini suggests that he loves her.
Meanwhile, Teju searches for a job, recalling her promise to Mohit to set things right at their grandparents’ home. She initially wanted a job for Vedaant and Mukta but now feels responsible for her grandparents as well.
After visiting the Pradhan family, Juhi shares her experience with her sisters, mentioning how Neil discussed her education and future, which she appreciated. Overhearing this, Teju thinks it’s good that Neil didn’t mistreat Juhi but remains skeptical. She believes Neil is like other men—once determined not to marry anyone else, he changed his stance when he realized she no longer cared about him.
Later, Aditi asks Teju if she has someone she likes. Teju remains silent, prompting Aditi to tease that she must have broken many hearts since she is smart, unlike her. Teju reassures Aditi that there is nothing wrong with her and believes she will one day marry into a good family. Emotional, Aditi remarks that only Mohit used to speak to her that way, and now Teju does too.
Precap: Teju arrives at Vedaant’s school to drop him off and notices that the school is conducting interviews for a music teacher. She decides to apply and attends the interview. When asked for her certificates, Teju explains that she doesn’t have them but confirms that she is a graduate. The interviewer informs her that they cannot offer her the job without proper documentation. Meanwhile, Neil observes the entire situation.
