Thakkars reach Savi’s school award function venue. Bhagyashree says this venue looks big, she thought it would be a small function. She says she has attended many award functions with Rajat where Rajat used to get both award and prize, will Savi also get money along with award. Harini replies Bhagyashree with Isha and Shantanu’s teachings. Bhagyashree comments on Isha next, learning Harini fuming. Savi controls Harini. Rajendra asks Bhagyashree to keep quiet and says they are lucky to have Savi as their DIL who is getting award in the field of education. They walk into the building where school principal welcomes Savi and asks her abouth her parents. Savi says they got some work, but her in-laws are in. Principal asks about her husband. Savi says he is also busy. Rajendra
Thakkars take their seats in a front row of auditorium. Ashika and Arsh walk in. Bhagyashree gets angry and asks Savi what are they doing here. Savi says school management must have invited them as parents. Bhagyashree says she should have told management that she is Sai’s mother and not Ashika. Tara asks Bhagyashree to ignore Ashika and Arsh. Host welcomes guests and invites chief guest Mr Waghmare on stage. Rajat reaches venue thinking it’s a business expo venue. He questions someone who informs it’s a school award function venue. Rajat is about to leave when Rajendra walks out and asks him to attend the award function if he is already there. Rajat thinks Aman tricked him. He gets in and sits with family. Arsh from back row taunts him that he came late as usual to watch Sai’s performance who is Arsh’s daughter and not Rajat’s Rajat gets upset and starts drinking as usual.
Bhagyashree feels sleepy and asks Tara also to sleep as its a boring award function. Tara says they will face humiliation as they are sitting in a first row. Host calls Savi on stage to receive best teacher’s award. Bhagyashree excitedly video calls her friend and shows Savi receiving award. Sai asks Rajat to clap as pari mamma got a best teacher’s award. Rajat sits silently. Host asks Savi to speak a few words. Savi thanks education board for giving her this award and gives credit to her students who gave her a chance to invent new unique methods to teach them. Everyone clap for her while Rajat continues to drink. Savi frowns seeing Rajat’s behavior. Savi walks back to her seat and gives award to Bhagyashree. Bhagyashree happily shows it to her family and praises her.
Host then announces a student performance. Children dance on EK Jindadi Meri Sau Khwaihsath.. song. Everyone clap for them. Host then announces Sai’s performance for Savi. Everyone clap again. Rajat claps but stops recalling Arsh’s taunts. Sai sings Ladki Ki, Kathi Kathi Pe Ghoda.. song. She forgets lyrics midway. Savi tries to remind her. Arsh joins her and sings along her, leaving Rajat more upset. Host praises their jugalbandi/duet performance. Arsh manipulates Sai. He says she sings well, but as far as he knows, her parents are not good singers. Sai says she doesn’t know, Pari mamma taught her this song. Arsh says children get their talent from their parents, she should ask her papa Rajat where did she get this talent from.
Sai walks to Rajat and asks how was her performance. A guest says she sung really well. Sai asks Rajat when he and Ashika don’t know to sing, then how can she sing so well. Rajat asks who told her this. Sai says Arsh said this and asked her to question him. Rajat angrily walks away. Arsh stops him near the door and asks why is he crying, offers him kerchief, and asks him to answer Savi how can she sing so well when her parents can’t sing. He gives an example of a nightingale keeping her eggs in a crow’s nest for hatching and fool crow thinking the baby belongs to her. He says Sai looks exactly like Ashika, but her eyes and voice resemble Arsh; it proves that Sai is Arsh’s daughter; he didn’t want to reveal this secret to Rajat thinking Ashika will win Sai’s custody and he will get back his daughter, but Rajat tricked and won Sai’s custody. He acts as pleading Rajat to return his daughter and says he knows Rajat is not bothered about Sai at all, etc. Rajat stands thinking.
Precap: Sai repeatedly asks Rajat how can she sing so well. Rajat shouts at her and pushes her away. Family is shocked to see that.
