Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Nandani Tiwary replaces Vandana Singh for the role of Shakti Singh’s sister

Nandani Tiwary has been chosen as the replacement for Vandana Singh in the popular television series Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Prior to the commencement of filming, Vandana Singh was initially cast to portray the character of Shakti Singh’s sister, but the decision was later changed by the show’s producers. Nandani Tiwary has now taken on the role and has already begun shooting. Her first appearance will be broadcasted tomorrow.

Nandani, known for her previous work in shows like Baalveer Returns, Tenali Rama, and Maddam Sir, has confirmed the news in a recent interview. She mentions that she is unaware of replacing anyone and has been brought on board to portray the character of Durga, who is the sister of the male lead, Shakti Arora. Nandani describes her character as classy, intelligent, and vengeful.

Vandana also expresses her disappointment in an interview and shared, “Being replaced after being confirmed has become a common occurrence for me, but it’s disheartening. This is the second instance in the past 10 days where I’ve been replaced on short notice, just a night before shooting. As an actor, I feel powerless in such situations. Moreover, the contracts in this industry seem to favor only one side. An actor can be replaced overnight, but they are expected to provide a two-month notice when they decide to leave a show.”

She continues, “I am patiently waiting for the recognition and opportunities that I deserve as an artiste. Unfortunately, things haven’t worked out in my favor ever since I entered the entertainment industry. I was auditioned and selected for a show in Chandigarh, and the production house even brought me to Mumbai. I attended the show’s auspicious ceremony, but two days before the shooting began, I was replaced. It’s a heartbreaking experience, but I won’t lose hope. I believe that eventually, I will achieve what I aspire for.”
