Pavitra Rishta, the sweet love story of a couple, Manav and Archana has won many hearts as it has always maintained a level of decency, homeliness, sweetness and love merit in the show. People accepted it right from the first episode, and it has been a hit since its beginning. The show has made the actors Ankita Lonkhande and Sushant Rajput a status of the best couple on Indian TV. Their chemistry was like never seen before and it attracted the viewers. Manav and Archana got married and then fell in love, which gave them the strength to face many obstacles in life.
Manav’s mum did not accept her in the beginning but Archana won her heart. Then there were leaps in the show, first a 18 year leap which showcased their children’ lives and then another leap of 20 years as the track now is of their grandchildren. Hiten Tejwani is essaying the role of Manav Deshmukh currently as Sushant has quit the show to try his hand in films, and we all know how much successful he became. Let’s wish him good luck. This Ekta Kapoor show has given its 9pm slot to another Ekta’s show Kumkum Bhagya and is now airing on 6.30 pm slot. Pavitra Rishta is ruling Zee tv since 1st June 2009 till date. It has completed 5 years and is still strong.
Taking about Kumkum Bhagya, the story is about a Punjabi matriarch Sarla Arora, and the lives of her daughters Pragya and Bulbul. Sarla runs a marriage hall names Kumkum Bhagya and wishes to the Lord to see her daughters happily married soon. Her daughter are poles apart nature wise but good at heart. The elder daughter Pragya is a hardworking girl who teaches at a college to help her mum in managing the home expenses. Bulbul is a free minded girl, who believes to make her dreams come true. Talking about the men of the show, Suresh is a simple mind, but has frustration in his life as he lost his loved as he was in army.
Suresh too teaches in the college and works with Pragya. Abhi is a rockstar, who is getting interested in Pragya slowly. Purab is Bulbul’s boy friend and is a smart guy, he is her boss and works for his best friend Abhi. The current track shows Abhi and Pragya’s marriage track.
