Nikhil’s friends appreciate him for not marrying Lajo.
Anuradha tries to console Dadaji after seeing him frustrated, but in vain.
The villagers ask Ram Bachan and Saraswati to send Lajo to their relative’s place.
They become annoyed with Nikhil.
Lajo and Saraswati become emotional while sharing their feelings with each other.
Nikhil becomes tormented on reminiscing about his brother’s incident.
He finds it difficult to leave Sonvarsha.
Finally, for Lajo’s well being, he agrees to marry her.
