It’s very hard for the makers to decide the fate of the show when for the first time, a story line crosses their mind Sometimes, the shows do so well that they surpass everyone’s expectations and sometimes, they drift off in the wrong direction.
While many shows will go off air soon, the latest addition to the list is Hamari Bahu Silk. The show features Chahat Pandey and Zaan Khan as the lead couple, is all set to wrap up on November 8. The cast will wrap up the shoot on November 5 and just after three days it will air it’s last episode.
In an interaction with Bombay Times, Zaan confirms, “Honestly, I don’t know why the show is going off air, as it was raking in decent ratings. It could be because of the time slot, as we are competing with big shows. It’s a decision taken by the channel and as an artiste, you don’t have much say in it. I am obviously sad and disappointed, as I have worked hard and grown as an artiste during the course of the show. But I am sure that this will materialize into bigger opportunities.”
Well, while the show is getting shelved, we know that the cast will very soon be seen in different avatars to entertain us all over again.
