Happily Everafter? episode 1

It all began on the banks of holy ganga. I was there every morning. This is almost my daily ritual, beginning the day on the ganga maiyas banks. It probably is because I’m trying to find the missing love of my family.
But not today, today I was disturbed more than usual that is. I had a feeling of some impending doom. Something is approaching..Something big..something that is going to change my life..

I was just dwelling over thoughts like these and missed my step. Just when I was about to trip a pair of strong hands held me. They held me in a secured grip taking away all the coldness which was threatening to eat me away. I was about to thank the person when he began “Watch your step. You’d have had fallen if not for me”
Look at that smug face..sure he helped me, but this doesn’t deserve that rudeness..after all I hadn’t asked him to help me. I was grateful sure, but that didn’t mean I was going to take his attitude. I had enough of my own to take in his too. I replied back with all my anger “Hey, did I ask you to help me? And keep your free advice to yourself! Mendak”

He gave me an incredulous look, and said, “I came here to Hrishikesh thinking people here would be as humble as holy this land is. But I suppose I was mistaken as even Ganga is polluted by people like you!”
Suddenly out of no where we both start laughing…this was what we had met like almost an year ago.
It has been 2 weeks since our marraige..this is where I met my mendak.. this is where he came in my life to take every dark figment away! He took away all the loneliness of my life..gave me my family back..

After mummy’s demise I think life is too short to let misunderstanding ruin our relationships..I was foolish to lose my family for 7 long years just for a silly misunderstanding.. But he, love of my life, made me realise this.
