***Party hall***
Anika saw Avni chit chatting with Ragini and slowly went to them. She covered Avni’s eyes from behind.
“Anika Di!!!!!” she recognized.
“Tumhe hamesha patha kaise chaltha hai (How do you get to know always).” She asked in filmy style.
“My filmy behen, I’m not Shivaay jiju that I’ll feel your presence without seeing you around, its only you who does such filmy stuff, so its easy to guess.”
“Fine fine, tum abhi bhi is two rupees wali kapde pehenthi ho kya (You still wear this two rupees dress), aur tumhaare pant kaha hai, pant pehenna bhool gayi kya (And where is your pant, did you forget to wear them).” Anika asked acting shocked.
“OMG!!! Is ghar ki saari ladkiya kaise ithne aunty types ban gaye (How did all the ladies of this house become auntyji types)” Avni exclaimed.
“Tum dono bathe karo, mein abhi aai (Both of you talk, I’ll come now)”. Ragini said and took a move
Anika and Avni continued irritating each other and then talked about their personal lives, news, and you know girls don’t need any topic to continue conversation, they’ll always have something on the earth left to fill their conversation after all the important stuff.
***
Ragini went to Sanskar, who was playing with Ruhi.
“Dekho ruhi, Ragini aunty came, you go with her, Mamu has some work to be done.” He said.
Ragini took Ruhi along with her.
***Sanskar on call***
“Hello, kab thak pahuchega tu saale (When will you reach saale?”
“I’ll be there in 15 mins yaar, Ok come on now beeviyon ki tarah mujhe baar baar call math kiya karo (Don’t keep calling me again and again like typical wives!.” He said.
“Acha bhai, just come.”
He cut the call and turned and sprung back in shock, shock of having seen Shivaay and Anika suddenly.
“Who was it?” Anika asked.
“A friend, will be there for the party.”
“Ok we want to talk to you.” Shivaay said.
All the three of them sat on a sofa.
“Bhaiyya, you don’t have to do everything alone, we are with you, I’m your sister, and Shivaay is your best friend.”
“Sanskar, what we mean to convey is, we all know Swara, there’s nothing to think about, we just have to tell her the truth.”
“But we don’t know the truth Shivaay.” Said Sanskar.
“Bhaiyya, what are you saying, remember we were the ones who planned surprise for you both, everything was fine till then, then how come you feel doubtful.”
“No Anika, its not any doubt, I just cant hurt her, if I trust what I believe and take decisions, one day I’ll be answerable to Swara, that’s when she get back her memory.
“Bhaiyya, what are you saying, how can you even think like that??? I wont accept it, you are doing a big mistake, ….” Anika tried to convince but Sanskar interrupted.
“Anika, I have decided, it doesn’t mean that I’m going to leave it, I’m going to try to get her memory back, for that I want her with me, for sometime, if you can help me with that Anika, otherwise I’m not going to change my decisions because I cant be selfish, few weeks before that incident, she was behaving different. So I’m unable to figure out what exactly happened. The only way before me is to get her memory back.”
Anika tried to continue but Shivaay interrupted “No Anika, Sanskar is right, what we must do is, to know the truth, and we are with you Sanskar.”
Ruhi came running to Anika.
“Mumma mujhe susu karni he (Mumma I want to pee)” said Ruhi.
“Sanskar, Shivaay, tum dono baath karo, mein ise leke jaathi hoon (Shivaay Sanskar, both of you continue, let me take her).” Said Anika.
Anika took Ruhi to toilet.
“Mumma, jab hum pichle baar aaye the, tho ek mami thi na mumma, mami mujhe cutie bulaathi thi, vo mami kaha he (When we came last time, we met a mami, she called me cutie na mumma, where is she).” Ruhi asked with her cute accent.
“Mami abhi aayegi Ruhi, par mami tumhe bhool gayi, tho tum unse kuch math poochna teekhe (Mami will come now, but mami forgot you, don’t ask her anything).”
“Mami mujhe kaise bhoolegi, mami ne mujhse kaha ‘don’t forget me’ aur mami mujhe bhool gayi (How will mami forget me, mami asked me not to forget her, and she forgot me).” Ruhi asked with a sad face.
Anika hugged her and wiped her tears to hide it from Ruhi “Maami tumhe bhooli nehi, aaj poore din maami aapko na jaanne ki acting karne wali he, aap bhi acting kar lena, agar meri beti jeeth gayi, mumma use kya degi (Mami didn’t forget you, today mami will act like she does not know you, you also act ok, if by doll wins, what will mumma give you???”
“Kya degi mumma (what Mumma)”
“Meri beti ko kya chahiye (what does my baby want).”
Shivaay too came near them and they both kneeled down before Ruhi.
“Haan bolo (Yes tell), what does my doll want?”
“Mami se kehena ki agli baar is game mein me aur mami same team me (Tell maami, next time in this game I’ll be in mami’s team), so she will not act like she forgot me, ok.”
Anika looked at Shivaay teary eyed. She got up and went away.
“Kya hua papa, why was mumma crying?”
“Mumma kaha ro rahi thi, jaise tumhari maami bhoolne ki acting karegi, vaise mumma rone ki acting kar rahi thi (Mumma wasn’t crying, your maami is acting like she forgot right, like that mumma is acting like crying).”
Anika ran and she hit Laksh who was coming from a room.
“Di, aap kab aai (Di when did you come).”
“Di??? Mujhe di bulaane ka haq tum kho chuke ho Laksh. Mera laadla that tu, sabke saamne mein tumhaari tarafdaari karthi thi, par mein galath thi, aaj tumhare vajah se hi Swara is halath me he, iske liye mein kabhi tumhe maaf nehi karoongi (Di? You have lost the right to call me di. You were my pet, I used to support you befor everyone, but I was wrong, today because of you Swara is in this state, I’m never going to forgive you for this).”
“Di, mein Swara se bohoth pyaar kartha hoon, vo bhi mujhse pyaar karthi he (Di, I love Swara, she also loves me).”
“Nehi, tum Swara se pyaar nehi karthe, tum Swara ko haasil karna chahtha the, agar tum use pyaar karthe, tum uske kushi me apne Khushi doondthe, tum sirf khud se pyaar karthe ho Laksh, mujhe tumhe bhai kehthe hue sharm aathi he (No you don’t love her, you want to win her, if you loved her, you would have found happiness in her happiness, you just love yourself, I feel ashamed to call you my brother).”
“Di, tum bhi us Sanskar ke side ho, mein jaantha hoon (Di, you are in that Sanskar’s side, I know).”
“Mein sachai ke side me hoon, sacha pyaar ke side me, mujhe patha he ki Swara Sanskar ke bache ke janam dene vali he, ye Sanskar bhi jaantha he, use Swara par poora bharosa he, voh Swara ko saari sachai batha saktha tha, par usne nehi ki, kyuki usse sachai Swara se sunni he, woh Swara kya chahthi he ye jaanna chahtha he, ye he sacha pyaar, jisme swarth nehi hotha (I’m with truth, with true love, I know Swara is going to give birth to Sanskar’s child, even Sanskar knows that, he trusts Swara, he can tell Swara all the truth, but he didn’t, because he wants to know the truth from Swara, he wants to know Swara’s choice, this is true love, in which there is no selfishness).” Said Anika.
“Its not true di, Swara married Sanskar, that’s true, but Swara loves me, that’s why she came with me, that child is the proof of our love, how will make you believe me, Swara has lost her memory, otherwise she would have told you the truth, Sanskar never loved her, after marriage she realized that and that’s why she came with me, now I’m not going to give her to anyone.”
Anika didn’t reply and walked away.

Swara, Omkara and Gauri reached the party hall.
Sanskar and Laksh look at Swara in admiration.
Gauri saw Anika and Soumya and ran to them.
“Anika di, Soumya, I didn’t know you both were coming.” Said Gauri in excitement.
“Mein tumhe call karne vali thi Gauri, par Om tumhe surprise dena chahtha tha (I was about to call you, but Om wanted to surprise you).” Anika said.
“Vese bhi bada baal vaale bhaiyya bohoth romantic he na Gauri di (Long haired bhaiyya is very romantic right Gauri di).” Soumya made fun of Gauri.
Gauri smiled shyly and Omkara came and asked “kya baathe ho rahi he (What’s going on).”
“Dekho Anika di, bhaiyya ko dekhthe hi Gauri di ki chehra kaise laal ho gayi (Look Anika di, Gauri di’s cheeks have become red seeing bhaiyya).”
“Soumya” Gauri complained.
“Shivaay aur Rudra kaha he bhabi (Where is Shivaay and Rudra bhabhi?” Om asked.
“O!!!!!” Rudra came and jumped over Omkara and hugged him.
Shivaay handed over Ruhi to Anika and went to Om and Rudra.
“Ye kya mere bina Obro moment ho raha he kya (Is Obro moment happening without me?.” Said Shivaay and opened his arms.
OmRu hugged him.
“Jab sasural wale mile, di aap hume bhool gayi kya (When you got your in laws, you forgot us.” Ragini and Avni asked Gauri.
“Tum dono se milne ke liye hi tho mein iss party mein aai thi na, par Sankar ji ne mujhe ithni Khushi dedi. (I came to this party to meet you both right, but God gave me so much happiness.” Said Gauri teary eyed and hugged Ragini.
Shivaay came and kept his hand on Gauri’s head and asked “Kaisi ho Gauri?”
Gauri touched his feet and said “teekh hoon bade bhaiyya.”
They all smiled.
Swara watched everything and smiled feeling happy for Gauri.
Laksh came to Swara and asked “Are you still angry with me, Swara, I’m really very sorry.” Laksh apologized holding his ears.
Swara looked at his puppy expression and said “Ok fine don’t repeat it and hurt Gauri?”
“So it means you forgave me?” asked Laksh in excitement.
Swara smiled and Laksh jumped in happiness.
Sanskar looked irritated seeing Laksh near Swara, he eyed Ragini to take Laksh away from Swara.
Ragini went to Swara and hugged her.
“Swara di, how are you?”
“Ragini, tum? Yaha?” Swara asked in surprise and hugged her happily.
“Haan di, aap kaisi ho, maine aapko bohoth miss kiya (I missed you so much).”
“Maine bhi Ragini (Even me).”
“Di mein abhi aai, Lucky tum mere saath aao, khaane ke arrangement me kuch galthi ho gayi, jaldi chalo (Di, I’ll come now, Lucky come with me, there’s some problem in the food arrangement, come fast.” Ragini said and dragged Laksh along with her.
“Ragini Laksh ko jaanthi he (Ragini knows Laksh)??” Swara thought.
Ruhi came running to Swara and said “Mami, how are you.”
“Mami??? What’s your name, come come come come, you’re very cute, cutie.” Said Swara and was about to lift Ruhi but Sanskar came running and took Ruhi in his arms.
Swara realized what she was about to do. She had to take care.
“My sister’s daughter, Ruhanika.”
“Nehi, my name is Ruhanika Shivaay Singh Oberoi.” Said Ruhi.
“Awww!! How cute is that.” Said Swara and pulled her cheeks.
“Jao Ruhi beta, go and play.” Said Sanskar and Ruhi ran to play.
“Sanskar, what are you doing here?”
Some guests came and interrupted “Hello Mr. Maheshwari, how are you, the arrangement looks perfect.”
“Thankyou Mr. Sharma, please make yourself comfortable.” Said Sanskar and called the waiter and asked him to serve the drinks.
“Tum Mr. Maheshwari?” Swara asked and she remembered Gauri calling her Mrs. Maheshwari.
He smiled and replied, “Yes I’m Sanskar Maheshwari.”
“But you are a waiter in the hospital right?”
“yeh maine kya keh diya, ab mein kya kahoonga, (Oh God, what did I just say, now what will I say) poora ka poora raitha phel gaya.” Sanskar thought.
“Sanskar???? Where are you lost.”
“haaan haan woh mein, mein bas jab job pressure zyaada hotha he, tho alag alag kaam try kartha hoon (When I have lot of job pressure, I’ll try different jobs!” Sanskar stammered.
Swara looked at him doubtfully.
Sanskar looked into her eyes and they both looked at each other. Swara knew she felt something for him, not just something, she did love him. She also could see the love in his eyes. She was somewhat sure that he could be her husband because Gauri had called her Mrs. Maheshwari. Knowing the fact she actually felt happy she needed a solid proof to believe it.
***On stage***
Durga Prasad took the mike and began his speech.
“Welcome ladies and gentle men to this party as a celebration for our first project together in the name of our friendship. I would like to welcome my best friend Mr. Tej Singh Oberoi on stage. Tej comes on stage” Dp said.
“Hello all. It was our dream from college that we would do a business together, and it has been fulfilled now. Before being the great business man, your Mr. Durga Prasad Maheshwari used to be my chaddi buddy. I’m very happy at this occasion. Our main intention of starting this is for our dear sons. My sons, Shivaay, Om and Rudra.” Tej said.
Dp said “and my sons Sanskar and Laksh. All the 5 of you please come on stage.
“Swara was shocked t know that Sanskar and Laksh was brothers. All of a sudden lots of doubts arise in her mind.
*If Laksh and Sanskar were brothers then why did both of them act like they didn’t know each other.
*Why did Laksh be angry with Sanskar on that day in the hospital canteen.
*That girl called me mami, and Sanskar said that it was his sister’s child. So one of them is my husband but both of them cares for me always, what will I do to find out who is actually my husband, hey matha rani, mujhe koi rastha dhikaade.
Swara’s mind was filled with questions and she began to feel dizzy due to strain.
Sanskar on stage noticed her and ran to her.
“Swara, Swara, tum teekh tho ho na, Swara…” he asked in worry.
Swara looked at him in surprise.
