Hey guys! Sorry for such short episodes. Actually, I was very busy and well….u could say I was going through a rough time in my life. But u all still managed to write me wonderful comments which really made my day through all that those hard times. I can’t thank you all enough. To make up for all of it, enjoy a bit longer episode. So let’s get on with the episode…..
Recap: It is revealed that Twinkle went through child abuse as a young child. Leela then adopted her. She revealed to Kunj her tattoos, which were in reality a cover up for her scars and bruises. Kunj decides to lighten up Twinkle’s mood and take her out to get ice cream.
EPISODE 23
Kunj gets ready and sees Twinkle sitting on the couch with a sad face.
Kunj- Twinkle? U didn’t get ready yet?
Twinkle- I’m not going anywhere.
Kunj thinks- Lagta hai she’s still upset.
Kunj- Hmmm…..so Twinkle upset hai. I think I know what she wants.
Twinkle looks at Kunj.
Kunj- Twinkle upset ho…Twinkle ko mana ho….Twinkle ko khana de do aur Twinkle khush. Ur hungry aren’t you?
Twinkle turns her face away from Kunj. Kunj smiles and thinks something.
Hey.. chowk Chandani, Chaudhary dhaba
Raat din yahan shor sharaba
Twinkle turns and sees Kunj singing (Chicken Kuk Doo Koo from Bajrangi Bhaijan).
Aur veg hai aadha Spasht kijiye kya hai iraada Chahiye naan ya roti Chahiye raan ya boti Mangalo Ram kasam kasht ho jaaye
Kunj makes Twinkle stand and dances with her.
De kitchen se aawaaz chicken kukdu-ku
Teri bhook ka ilaaj chicken kukdu-ku
Yehi kehta hai aaj chicken kukdu-ku

Twinkle’s jaw drops as Kunj starts dancing like a chicken. She starts laughing. Kunj smiles seeing Twinkle laugh.
Kunj- Ab chale?
The Next Scene…
Kunj stops at and ice cream vendor on the streets.
Twinkle- Y are u stopping here?
Kunj points at the ice cream stall.
Twinkle- We are going to eat here?!
Kunj- Yes. The best ice cream in all of India is found in these vendors. U will not find such taste in any high class ice cream cafe. Twinkle, u have to break out of ur luxurious shell and have a taste of the real world. Come.
Kunj drags Twinkle to the stall.
Kunj- Give me one strawberry and one chocolate.
Kunj hands one ice cream to Twinkle. He starts eating his ice cream. Twinkle hesitantly takes a bite. Kunj eagerly waits for Twinkle’s reaction.
Twinkle- Not bad.
Kunj- See. What did I tell you? Best ice cream in India.
Twinkle laughs. Kunj smiles watching her.
Kunj- Ok shall we go now?
Twinkle- What’s the rush? We just got here.
Kunj- Voh…ummm….I have some work to do.
Twinkle- But u don’t have work today.
Kunj- Something came up.
Twinkle looks at Kunj suspiciously. They go back to the apartment. Suddenly it starts raining. Twinkle runs under a roof, covering herself from the rain. Kunj runs to her and looks at her in disbelief.
Twinkle- What?
Kunj- Tu sach mein ladki hi hain na?
Twinkle- What?
Kunj- Matlab, u don’t see in all the movies, whenever it rains, the guy runs under shade and the girl dances in the rain. Aur ek tu hai. U ran away.
Twinkle- Yea. My mascara would get ruined from the rain. (Funny tune plays).
Kunj- I don’t believe this.
Saying this, he pulled Twinkle out into the rain. Twinkle screamed from the top of her lungs and struggled but Kunj didn’t let go.
Twinkle- KUNJ!
Kunj let go of Twinkle and smirked at her.
Twinkle- YOU!
Kunj ran inside the building and up to their apartment. Twinkle ran after him, occasionally shouting at him.
(Twinj’s Flat…)
Twinkle ran into their bedroom angered at Kunj.
Twinkle- Kunj! Today I’ll just kill you!
Twinkle stops screaming as she sees a person sitting on the bed. Twinkle walks up to the person with tears in her eyes.
Twinkle- Maa…
Forgetting the fact that she was completely drenched from the rain, Twinkle hugged Leela. Leela hugged Twinkle back as they both were crying. Kunj walked in and smiled. Leela broke the hug.
Leela- Twinkle puttar. I’m so sorry please forgive me.
Twinkle- What are you saying maa? Why are you saying sorry?
Leela- Puttar, Kunj told me everything.
FLASHBACK
Kunj came to Taneja mansion. Leela opened the door and saw Kunj.
Leela- U?
Kunj- Aunty, I need to speak with you.
Leela- I don’t want to talk to you.
Leela tries to close the door but Kunj holds the door.
Kunj- Aunty please. At least for Twinkle, listen to me.
Leela became emotional upon listening to Twinkle’s name. She let Kunj in. Kunj told Leela everything. He explained how Rajjo’s dad got them married and how they went to get a divorce and were denied.
Kunj- Believe me aunty, it was not Twinkle’s fault. This was all just a big accident. But after six months, we will get the divorce and Twinkle will come back to you.
Kunj kneels on the floor in front of Leela and takes her hand.
Kunj- Aunty, Twinkle is as pure as she was before. I did not touch her. We have no relationship other than the name. Please forgive her. She needs you.
Tears fall down Leela’s eyes. She touch’s Kunj’s cheek.
Leela- Puttar, I made a big mistake. Will twinkle forgive me?
Kunj- Of course she will. She still cries for you. Aunty, Twinkle still misses you.
Leela- What should I do know? How will I face Twinkle?
Kunj- I have a plan…
FLASHBACK ENDS
Twinkle looks at Kunj.
Twinkle- Kunj…
Leela- Ha puttar. Kunj is the one who told me to come here. Will u be able to forgive me?
Twinkle- Maa, u haven’t done anything wrong, so how will I forgive you.
Leela smiles and hugs Twinkle.
Twinkle- Maa, I miss you.
Leela- Only a few more months then u will be with me again. Until then, don’t trouble Kunj too much. Be good to him.
Kunj- Did you hear what aunty said Twinkle? Be nice to me.
Twinkle- Shut up Kunj!
Kunj- Dekha aunty! Ur daughter is very dangerous!
They all laugh. After an afternoon of enjoying, Leela leaves.
(Twinj’s Room…)
Kunj walks in and sees Twinkle pacing back and forth while biting her nail. Twinkle stops walking upon seeing Kunj.
Twinkle- Kunj…I’m….
Kunj- Yea yea I know. Thank you Kunj! Ur the best Kunj! I love you Kunj! Ur going to say that right?
Twinkle thinks- How did he know?
Kunj snaps in front of Twinkle’s face. Twinkle comes back to her senses.
Twinkle- No…I….
Kunj- Leave it. Expecting a thank you from Twinkle Taneja is like waiting for pigs to fly.
Twinkle- Thank you.
Kunj was astonished.
Kunj- What?
Twinkle- Thank you.
Kunj- One sec one sec. Did I hear this right? What did you say?
Twinkle- THANK YOU! For my mother….thank you. And for that night…thank you.
Kunj- Chalo, now I can cross getting a thank you from Twinkle Taneja off my bucket list.
Kunj leaves.
Twinkle thinks- Kunj is not that bad after all.
She smiles.
