I’m tearing up….I’m not able to comprehend if this is a dream or reality. I’m at a lack of words. I can’t even describe the feeling I got when I saw all of ur comments. For a lack of better words, I can just say that I became a crying tomato. My cheeks hurt from that huge smile I had and I’m pretty sure I became a tomato from all that blushing. Until I couldn’t see my screen anymore, did I realize that I was tearing up. U all became my second family and I get scared sometimes that something as beautiful as this will never come in my life again. It’s amazing how u can take some time and effort out of ur day and write literal essays for me. Don’t think I hate long comments, I love them…I love any sort of comment I get. All those silent readers who said that my ff made them comment, how do I even explain how I felt? And the people who always read and comment, well….just no words, but a huge hug. I didn’t have the time to thank u individually, but I just had to reply. I didn’t feel right. I got this much love, and I felt wrong if I didn’t reply. I don’t know why u guys are thanking me. I should be thanking u. Without u guys, none of this would have happened. Sorry If this sounded too emotional. I love you all I can’t thank you guys enough…. Ok enough rona dhona, now let’s get on with the episode.
Recap: Twinkle and Kunj feel awkward after the kiss incident. Kunj yells at Twinkle for being so careless. Chinki tells Twinkle that she’s in love. Twinkle recalls Leela’s words and realized that she loves Kunj.
EPISODE 26
Twinkle- I love Kunj!
Twinkle picks up Kunj’s picture and looks at it.
Twinkle- So I fell for this Sadu Sarna after all. When did this tashan turn into ishq, I don’t even know. But all I know is that I love you Kunj.
She kisses Kunj’s picture.
Twinkle- But what about Kunj? Does he love me? How does he feel?
Twinkle suddenly stands up.
Twinkle- What if Kunj doesn’t like me? What if this hate relationship of ours becomes serious? No…I won’t lose so easily. I’ll find out what Kunj feels about me.
Twinkle smiles and holds Kunj’s picture to her chest.
(Competition….)
Kunj was pacing back and forth backstage. He was nervously fidgeting with his fingers. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder.
Kunj- Finally u came…
Kunj turns around to find Twinkle.
Kunj- Oh Twinkle tu.
Twinkle- Why? Who were u expecting?
Kunj- Nahi. Actually my partner isn’t here yet. My performance is coming up. I don’t know what to do.
Twinkle- What! She’s not here yet?
Kunj- No.
Twinkle- Relax Kunj. She’ll be here. Maybe she got stuck in traffic. There was a lot of traffic when I was getting here.
Kunj- I hope so.
Suddenly Kunj’s phone rang.
Kunj- Oh it’s her!
Kunj picks up the call.
Kunj- Where are you? Why are u so late? Our performance is coming up.
Twinkle looks eagerly at Kunj.
Kunj- WHAT!
Kunj hangs up the phone in shock.
Twinkl- Kunj, what happened?
Kunj sat down silently. Twinkle was confused. Worry took over her confusion as she saw a tear trail down Kunj’s cheek. Twinkle sat down next to Kunj.
Twinkle- Kunj?
Kunj- Why me? Why is it always me? What did I do to deserve this? Everything always goes wrong with me. First my family….
Twinkle (softly)- Family?
Kunj- And now this…
Twinkle- Kunj, what happened?
Kunj- My partner twisted her ankle. She’s not able to come. Twinkle, my dream…it’s…it’s finished…
Twinkle cupped Kunj’s face.
Twinkle- Kunj, look at me. Nothings finished yet.
She wiped the tears off of Kunj’s face.
“Our next performance is by Mr. Kunj Sarna.”
Twinkle heard the announcement made for Kunj.
Twinkle- Kunj, ur up next. Go.
Kunj- But…
Twinkle- Just go na. Trust me.
Twinkle leaves.
Kunj- Twinkle…
Kunj goes the stage and stands in front of the judges. The lights go off and the music begins. Suddenly Kunj feels a hand hold his hand. The light on the stage turns back on and Kunj is surprised to see Twinkle standing before him.
Kunj- Twinkle tu?
Twinkle- Kunj, I learned the dance when u practiced with me.
Kunj smiled as he put his hand on her waist. Twinkle was wearing a red saree and Kunj was wearing a black button down shirt and black pants. (If u guys saw Sidhant’s last performance on Jhalak then u know the dance). Suraj Hua Maddham plays.
Kunj turns Twinkle around and faces her back towards him. He holds his arms out under her arms and picks her up and spins. The crowd became mesmerized looking at Twinj dance. The song began coming to an end. Kunj dipped Twinkle, holding her head with one hand and her waist with the other. As the song ended, he pulled Twinkle up and finished off the performance with the last step, a hug. Twinj broke the hug as they heard the applause of the audience and judges. They bowed then stepped off the stage.
Kunj- Twinkle….thank you.
Twinkle smiles.
Twinkle- Kunj, why are you thanking me. It was my duty to help those I lo…
Twinkle bit her tongue.
Kunj- What?
Twinkle- Voh….kuch nahi.
“May we have all the contestants present on the stage.”
Twinkle- Kunj go, they are calling you.
Kunj stands on stage with the rest of the contestants.
Host- All of these contestants have given us an amazing show tonight. But because this is a competition indeed, there can only be one winner.
Everyone falls silent.
Host- The winner of this Jhalak Dhikla Jaa dance competition is….
Kunj closes his eyes. Twinkle folds her hands and prays to her Babaji.
Host- Kunj Sarna!
Kunj opens his eyes. Twinkle opens her eyes and jumps.
Twinkle- Yes! Thank you Babaji, ur the best!
Celebration balloons fall on the stage. The whole crowd cheers for Kunj. (So what if Sidhant didn’t win in real life, Kunj will definitely win in my ff ?).
The judge gives Kunj the trophy and hands him a check. Kunj holds the trophy up into the air with a luminous smile on his face.
(Backstage…)
Kunj come backstage and sees Twinkle.
Twinkle- Kunj!
Twinkle runs up to him. They both spread their arms for a hug but then freeze. Very awkwardly, they take their arms back and look around.
Twinkle- Congratulations Kunj.
Kunj- I should be thanking you. If it wasn’t for u, I would not have even performed. So thank you.
Twinkle- Ok Mr. Thank you ka bank account. That’s enough thank you for today. Save some before you go bankrupt.
Kunj laughs. Twinkle smiles watching him. (Sajna Ve plays).
Twinkle- Kunj, I’ll be right back.
Kunj- But…
Twinkle leaves.
The Next Scene…
Twinkle walks up to a person. She puts her hand on the person’s shoulder. The person turns around. It is revealed to be Alisha.
Twinkle- So, how was it?
Alisha fumes seeing Twinkle.
Twinkle- Ur not going to compliment my dancing?
Alisha- You!
Twinkle- HEY!
Twinkle points her finger at Alisha.
FLASHBACK
Twinkle arrived at the competition. As she was walking backstage, she saw Alisha.
Twinkle- Alisha? What is she doing here?
Twinkle came a little closer to Alisha but hid from her. Alisha was talking to a picture of Kunj.
Alisha- After today, u will have to love me Kunj.
Twinkle was shocked.
Alisha- Don’t worry, that choreographer won’t come in between us. I have spilled oil on her floor and she broke her ankle.
Twinkle was stunned.
Alisha- So sorry Kunj, but she won’t be dancing with you. But it’s ok, I will be there to dance with you. Then u will love me.
Twinkle- Oh my God! Alisha is this dangerous? I can’t let her succeed in her plan.
When Kunj went up on stage, Alisha proceeded to go on stage. However she stopped as Twinkle reached Kunj before she did.
FLASHBACK
Twinkle- U tried harming Kunj’s future. U risked his chance of winning and u hurt another person. How much lower will you get Alisha? Don’t you get it that Kunj does not love you?
Alisha- NO! Kunj loves me! ONLY ME!
Twinkle laughs.
Twinkle- U can dream as much as you want Alisha. Kunj will never be yours. I won’t let anything happen to Kunj. I will do anything to save my love and you better get that through ur psychotic brain!
Twinkle walks away as Alisha becomes speechless.
