Recap: Twinkle wins the challenge and comes to college wearing a sari. Kunj is mesmerized seeing her and they get romantic. It was the last day of their college. Twinkle and Kunj graduate. Twinkle tells Alisha to change but Alisha still keeps her ways and vows to get Kunj.
EPISODE 39
The night was calm and majestic. Taneja Mansion was lit up with celebration and enjoyment. Guests were coming in. The Sarna family finally arrived at Taneja Mansion. Kunj was looking dashing in a grey and royal blue sherwani. Leela greeted them as they came. Kunj was led to the throne, where he sat and waited for his lady love to come. Rishi walks up to him.
Rishi- Kunj, bhai and bhabhi didn’t come?
Kunj- They are coming. They should be on their way.
Kunj’s eyes started wandering again. Rishi smirked.
Rishi- Vaise, Twinkle still has a long time before she comes down. Chinki went to get her about half an hour ago and she’s still not ready.
Kunj gulped in embarrassment.
Kunj- No…It’s nothing like that. I was just looking at the decorations.
Rishi laughs.
Rishi- Kunj, looks like your wait is over.
Rishi signs to the top of the stairs. Kunj’s eyes follow Rishi’s gaze and lands upon the beautiful wonder coming down only for Kunj. Twinkle was looking breathtakingly gorgeous in her cream colored lehenga. The matching gold jewelry accessorized the glow of her body perfectly and the light curls in her hair seemed to be majestic waves. Kunj was spellbound at the sight of Twinkle. The world around him seemed to fade away, leaving only the spotlight on his lady. As Twinkle saw the love and intensity in Kunj’s eyes, her cheeks turned a shade of pink. The brown orbs that were glued on to her seemed to be working magic over her emotions. A faint smile reached her lips as she sat down next to Kunj.
Twinkle thinks- Look how stubborn this Kunj is. He’s staring at me with huge eyes, but he won’t even compliment me. Khadoos kahi ka.
Twinkle- Kunj, stop staring at me.
Kunj snaps out of his trance.
Kunj- I wasn’t staring.
Twinkle- Hawww. Ur such a liar Kunj.
Twinkle mumbles under her breath- Unromantic kahi ka. Babaji, how did I end up loving such a buddhu like Kunj?
“Aur hum? What about us?”
Everyone turns to the door. There, standing was Yuvi and Mahi. Yuhi walk up to Twinj. Twinkle was confused while Kunj stands up with an elated smile on his face.
Kunj- Bhai…
Kunj hugs Yuvi.
Twinkle thinks- Bhai?
Uv- Hi Twinkle. This idiot probably didn’t tell you about me right? Well, I am Yuvraj Sarna, Kunj’s brother.
Mahi- And I am…
Twinkle- Mahi bhabhi. Right?
Mahi was shocked.
Mahi- Are, how did you know?
Kunj- Yea Twinkle, I never told you about them. How did you know?
Twinkle- So this is where the characters of Uv and Mahi came in our assignment, Love Is Blind? Pata hai bhai, Kunj didn’t tell me anything about you guys.
Kunj looks tensely and Uv and Mahi. Mahi fakes anger to Kunj.
Mahi- It’s ok Twinkle, now that you are coming to us, you will learn all about us.
Manohar- For that, we will have to make Twinkle our daughter. Kyun Leela ji? So shall we start the ring ceremony?
Leela- Of course!
Leela brings out the ring. Twinkle puts the ring on Kunj’s finger. Everyone claps. Twinkle waits eagerly for Kunj, who seemed to be a bit tensed. Kunj fumbles with the ring in his hand.
Kunj- Twinkle…I’m sorry…it’s kind of small and not extravagant…
Twinkle smiles- It’s beautiful.
Kunj looks lovingly at Twinkle while she holds out her hand. Kunj slips the ring onto Twinkle’s finger, making her his own. The ring ceremony ends. Twinkle was walking around when she overhears a guest’s convorsation.
Lady- Isn’t that Manohar Sarna? And that’s his son, Yuvraj Sarna.
Lady 2- Ha, Leela ji is very lucky to have gotten her daughter married in the Sarna family.
Twinkle was confused.
Twinkle- Lucky? What are they talking about?
As Twinkle was engrossed in her thoughts, she was pulled out of the crowd and into an empty corner.
Twinkle- Kunj tum!
Kunj- Twinkle shhh! Do you want to gather the whole party here?
Twinkle (attitude)- What do you want Kunj?
Kunj- Oh so this much attitude Mrs. Sarna?
Twinkle- Correction, I’m not Mrs. Sarna yet.
Kunj raises his eyebrow. Twinkle starts to walk away. Kunj holds her arm and pulls her back. Stopping her against the wall, Kunj raises his arms and blocks Twinkle’s path to leave.
Twinkle- Kunj what are you doing? Leave me.
Kunj kisses Twinkle’s forehead. Twinkle closes her eyes.
Kunj- So I’m unromantic?
Twinkle- Kunj….
Kunj kisses Twinkle’s cheek.
Kunj- How did you fall in love with a buddhu like me?
Twinkle was melting with Kunj’s touch. He anger seemed to fade away and it became very difficult for her to keep up this attitude. Twinkle clenched the side of her dress as she struggled to not let Kunj have any affect on her.
Kunj- So Ms. Would be wife, should I show you just how romantic I am?
Kunj’s eyes fell upon Twinkle’s soft, pink lips. He cupped Twinkle’s cheek and leaned in. They inched closer, reducing the space between them. Chinki was walking by when she sees the two. She quickly turns around and hits her head.
Chinki- Yaar Chinki, why do you always come in on their moments?
Just as the distance between Twinkle and Kunj were decreasing and the pairs of lips were finally about to meet for the first time, they heard a cough. Twinkle opened her eyes and looked at Kunj, who was still leaning in to her. Twinkle pushed Kunj away as she saw Chinki.
Chinki- Sorry, galat timing ho gaya. Twinkle, Leela aunty is calling you.
Kunj- Nahi nahi. Ur timing is perfect, as usual. Twinkle, u should buy your friend a watch, so her timing is even more perfect.
Kunj walks away in anger. Twinkle and Chinki look at each other in shock before suddenly bursting out into laughter.
