Recap: Twinkle reveals her past to Sam. It is revealed that Kunj sees a video of Twinkle threatening his family for their property. Twinkle denies the video being true but Kunj doesn’t seem to believe her. A heartbroken Twinkle then leaves to Australia. Sam tells her he will transfer Kunj to a different hospital, but Twinkle denies and says she no longer loves Kunj and will only serve to be his doctor.
EPISODE 59
Twinkle walks into her cabin and begins her paperwork. Sam enters her cabin.
Sam- Umm voh Twinkle….
Twinkle- Kunj came, didn’t he?
Sam nods.
Twinkle- Sam, don’t worry. I’m okay. I told you, I’m only his doctor, nothing more. Let’s go.
Twinkle goes to Kunj’s room. She enters the room and sees balloons and toys everywhere. She sees Kunj sitting on the bed playing with a toy car. She looks at him from head to toe. His’ hair was gelled and combed over. He was wearing suspenders and a mickey mouse shirt.
Sam- He has the mentality of a 6 year old child now.
Twinkle’s heart breaks, but she keeps herself composed.
Twinkle- Mr. Sarna…
Kunj looks towards Twinkle and jumps up. He runs towards her and hugs her. Twinkle was shocked. Tears form in her eyes as she stays still in Kunj’s embrace. Kunj lets go of Twinkle and laughs.
Kunj- Yay, my friend came! Friend, where were you? I was playing alone all this time.
Twinkle- Friend?
Twinkle looks over at Sam.
Sam- He probably thinks you are his friend. Go with it.
Twinkle- Mr. Sarna, look..
Kunj- Hehe, I’m not Mr. Sarna. Mr. Sarna to mere papa hain. I’m Kunj.
Twinkle- Okay, Kunj. We have to go take some tests. Come with me.
Kunj- No!
Twinkle jumped in surprise.
Twinkle- No?
Kunj- Nahi.
Twinkle- But Mr. Sa…I mean Kunj. These tests are important if you want to get better.
Kunj taps his chin and thinks.
Kunj- Okay.
Twinkle lets out a sigh of relief.
Kunj- But on one condition.
Twinkle- What?
Kunj- First you have to take me out to get ice cream then I will do the test.
Twinkle- What? Okay I will bring some ice cream for you.
Kunj- No! You have to take me outside. Otherwise, no test!
Twinkle- Kunj, what is this? Don’t act childish.
Kunj drops to the floor and starts crying.
Kunj- No one loves me. Everyone is bad here. No one is good. No one gives me some ice cream.
Twinkle looks over at Sam. Sam shrugs his shoulders.
Sam- Go Twinkle. These tests are important, he needs to have them done.
Twinkle sighs. She crouches down to Kunj and extends her hand in front of him. Kunj stops crying and pouts at Twinkle.
Twinkle- Chale?
Kunj wipes his eyes and smiles. He holds Twinkle’s hand and stands up.
The Next Scene…
Twinkle takes Kunj to an ice cream stall.
Twinkle- Bhai, one chocolate please.
Twinkle hands the chocolate ice cream to Kunj.
Kunj- Wow! Thank you!
He starts eating his ice cream.
Kunj- By the way Twinki, how do you know my favorite ice cream?
Twinkle freezes in her tracks and remembers her memories with Kunj. Her thoughts are broken by Kunj’s laughter.
Kunj- Where is your ice cream?
Twinkle- I don’t eat ice cream.
Kunj- Oh come on Twinkle. You never say no to ice cream. It’s your weakness.
Twinkle looks at Kunj in shock.
Twinkle- What did you say?
Kunj- Haa. Everybody likes ice cream. It’s everyone’s weakness.
Twinkle looks at Kunj carefully.
Twinkle thinks- I don’t know why but I have a feeling that something is not right.
Kunj- You know Twinki, you should smile. You don’t look nice with a sad wala face.
Twinkle- This is my face.
Kunj- Nahi. Smile.
Twinkle- Kunj, eat your ice cream!
Kunj becomes scared and starts eating his ice cream quickly. In the process, ice cream smears all over his face. Twinkle sees Kunj’s face and starts to laugh. Kunj looks at Twinkle laughing and smiles.
Kunj- I told you. You look pretty when you laugh.
Twinkle stops laughing. Kunj pokes Twinkle’s cheeks.
Kunj- Tumhara dimple…soooo cute! Mujhe bhi chaiye!
Twinkle- But Kunj, not everyone has dimples.
Kunj- No, I want dimples. You look cute with dimples. I also want to look cute.
Twinkle- You are cute.
Twinkle realizes what she just said.
Kunj- Really?
Twinkle- Yes Kunj. You don’t need dimples to be cute. You are cute.
Kunj- Thank you!
Kunj kisses Twinkle’s cheek, leaving Twinkle shocked.
Kunj- You are so nice!
Twinkle holds her cheek in shock.
Kunj- Now I will do my tests.
Kunj starts walking. twinkle still holds her cheek and looks at Kunj. (Sajna ve plays).
(At the hospital…)
Kunj was in his room playing with his toys. Someone comes in and puts a hand on his shoulder. Kunj turns around and takes the lollipop out of his mouth. He lets out a sigh of relief.
Kunj- Oh it’s you.
Sam smiles at Kunj.
Kunj- Thank you man…for everything.
Kunj hugs Sam.
Sam- Are no problem. Twinkle is my best friend. I will do anything for her. I know how much she loves you, and if she’s happy with you, then I will help you anytime.
Kunj- Thanks yaar, I couldn’t have done it without you. Twinkle, your Kunj is here.
