Recap: Twinkle and Kunj face an awkward situation after an eventful night together where they get intimate. Sam realizes what happened between them and teases them. Twinkle starts voiding Kunj. Kunj confronts Twinkle and she reveals to Kunj that she is pregnant.
EPISODE 68
Kunj- What?
Twinkle softly speaks- I’m pregnant.
Kunj lets go of Twinkle’s shoulders and takes a step back as the words sink in. Twinkle’s words echoes in his head. Suddenly Twinkle is lifted off her feet as she feels herself being carried by two strong arms.
Twinkle- Kunj! What are you doing?
Kunj carries Twinkle in his arms and spins around.
Kunj- Thank you!
Twinkle giggles- Kunj put me down.
Kunj puts Twinkle down and hugs Twinkle. Twinkle smiles and lifts her arms to hug Kunj back. Suddenly she stops and her smiles fades. She lowers her arms and pushes Kunj off of her. Kunj is shocked.
Twinkle- Don’t.
Kunj- Twinkle, what happened?
Twinkle- Why are you so happy Kunj?
Kunj- Twinkle?
Twinkle- Tell me Kunj, why are you happy? Oh, I see, this is another act of yours isn’t it?
Kunj- Twinkle, what are you saying? Mera bacha….
Twinkle raises her hand and stops Kunj.
Twinkle- No. Not your child, it’s my child. You lost all your rights that day. You couldn’t trust me on a simple matter Kunj. What guarantee is there that you won’t leave my child one day just like how you left me?
Kunj is shook. His heart shatters to pieces. A tear drops down his cheek. Twinkle notices this. Her heart breaks seeing Kunj in this state, but she keeps herself strong for her, for her child. Twinkle turns around to hide her tears. She walks out of the apartment. Kunj calls after her, but she doesn’t stop. Twinkle runs through the streets as Kunj desperately runs after her. She comes to some kind of musical festival and runs through the crowd. Kunj loses sight of Twinkle and frantically searches through the crowd.
Announcer- Okay ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for our competition to begin.
The crowd cheers.
Announcer- Who is up for the challenge? This challenge has never been completed. It is impossible! You must sing a whole song in one breath! Come on guys, do it for your love! Let’s see who is courageous enough for this! Let’s see who can do it!
The crowd cheers harder.
“koii jo mila to mujhe aisa lagta tha…”
Twinkle stops when she hears that familiar singing, that voice that stole many hearts in college. She turns around and looks at the stage to see Kunj singing.
“jaise merii sarii duniya men giiton kii rut aur rangon kii barkha…
khusbuu kii aandhii mahakii hu’ii sii ab saari fizaa’en…”
Twinkle is shocked as she sees Kunj singing the song in one breath. She advances towards the stage. Kunj looks at Kunj with hurt evident in his eyes as he continues to sing.
“main hoon aur khoye hue pyaar ki yaadein hain
doob gaya hai dil gham ke andhare…”
A tear falls down Twinkle’s cheek as she sees Kunj’s face turning red. Kunj closes his eyes and continues singing.
“kitni hasiN hai kitni suhani
hum dono ki prem kahani…”
The crowd cheers as Kunj finishes the song. The mic drops from Kunj’s hand and drops to the floor. Kunj collapses on the floor.
Twinkle- Kunj!
Twinkle runs up on stage. She lays his head on her lap and taps his cheek.
Twinkle- Someone please help!
Kunj starts breathing heavily.
Twinkle- Oxygen! He needs oxygen!
Without any second of hesitation, Twinkle brings her lips to meet Kunj’s and gives him cpr. Kunj slowly opens his eyes and looks at Twinkle, her eyes closed and her lips on his. Kunj smiles against Twinkle’s lips. Twinkle feels it and quickly pulls back up.
Twinkle- Kunj?
Kunj- Kya yaar Siyappa Queen. How could I leave you so early? Nothing was going to happen to me. I knew you wouldn’t let anything happen to me.
Twinkle slaps Kunj’s shoulder.
Twinkle- Idiot! I hate you!
Kunj- But I love you!
Kunj pulls Twinkle into a hug. This time, Twinkle hugs Kunj back tightly. The crowd cheers.
Kunj- I love you.
Twinkle- I love you too. (Sajna Ve plays in bg).
Kunj smiles and hugs Twinkle tighter.
(Twinkle’s Apartment…)
Twinkle enters her apartment. Kunj tries to enter. Twinkle stops him and giggles.
Kunj- What is this?
Twinkle- Where are you going?
Kunj- What do you mean?
Twinkle- This is my apartment. What are you doing here?
Kunj- Twinkle, don’t do this yaar. Don’t keep me away from you anymore or my child.
Twinkle- On one condition.
Kunj- What?
Twinkle- First prove to me that you are ready to be a father of a child.
Twinkle closes the door in Kunj’s face. Kunj stands there shocked.
Kunj- What new problem is this? How do I prove that I’m ready to be a father?
