Kunj woke up with the sun’s rays baking his face. He opened his eyes only to realise he couldn’t see a thing..His vision was blurry and cloudy.
He rubbed his eyes but it seemed to get worst.
“Twinkle! Twinkle!” He yelled. “Where did Twinkle go yaar? ohho! Why can’t I see anything? Twinkle!!”
He got up from the bed stretching out his hand to feel his way since he couldn’t see anything. “Twinkle!!! … Oww! Mann! Shit yaar!” He yelled as he bumped into the tables and cupboards in the kitchen. He finally reached to the door and opened it. “Twinkle?!” He yelled as he stepped out the hotel room. “Twink…?..Ahh!!”
“What the…?!”
Kunj had bumped into someone while walking out and they both fell on the ground. “Who is it?” Kunj asked still trying to clear his eyes. “Kunj is that you?”
“Yuviii?” He asked. “Haan! Oh god yaar. I can’t see anything right now. Can you help me get it off?” Kunj pouted. “Yuvi even i cant see a thing. And i cant find Twinkle!”
“I cant find Mahi!”
Kunj and Yuvi frowned. “This gotta be one of their tricks!” Yuvi said. “Wait lemme try clean my eyes.” He pulled Yuvi’s shirt and rubbed whatever it was from his eyes. Yuvi did the same with Kunj’s shirt. Finally they both opened their eyes and looked at each other in shock.
“Yuvi!”
“Kunj!”
“What?” Kunj asked. “Your face is full of red powder!”
“And yours is filled with purple!” They both ran back into their rooms and yelled as they saw their faces full of colourful powder.
“This has gotta be the girls’ fault.” Yuvi said annoyingly.
“Haan. But where are they?” Kunj asked and Yuvi shrugged and added,”Lets check the balcony.”
As they proceeded towards the balcony, they saw it was flooded with water. Kunj pulled Yuvi and warned him to be careful. They took a step forward in the balcony and found it rather quiet. “Kunj?” “Haan?” He answered Yuvi. “Have you noticed that the entire hotel is rather quiet today?” Kunj nodded and was about to look across him when suddenly they both were attacked by a downpour of ice cold water. “HAPPY HOLII!!!!!!!”
“Ahh!” They yelled and looked up to see Twinkle and Mahi dressed in all white with a broad smirk on their faces. “Teri tuh!” Yuvi yelled as he ran towards Mahi and Kunj did the same but the girls were fast and pulled out stainers and sprayed a set of colours on them. Twinkle laughed and jeered them. “Catch us if you can!” Mahi said and she and Twinkle made a run for it towards the exit of the hotel. Kunj and Yuvi ran after them.

As they reached downstairs, they saw everyone playing among themselves and smiled. They suddenly realised their wives were missing again and were now prepared for another burst of colours. Mahi and Twinkle tapped them from behind and they turned around and they threw more powder on their clothes. Kunj frowned and ran towards Twinkle. He found some more abeer and picked it up. Twinkle widened her eyes and ran faster from him. Kunj caught her tightly in his grip and rubbed it on her face. Their eyes met and they smiled. Twinkle smirked and pushed him away. Drums started beating and everybody started dancing.

Twinkle pulled Mahi aside and they both winked at Yuvi and Kunj while they stood their admiring their wives.

Twinkle began singing,

“Itna Maza, Kyun Aa Raha Hai
Tune Hawa Mein Bhaang Milaya”

Mahi joins her while Yuvi and Kunj looks at them with mischief in their eyes…

“Itna Maza, Kyun Aa Raha Hai
Tune Hawa Mein Bhaang Milaya
Dugna Nasha, Kyun Ho Raha Hai
Aankhon Se Meetha Tune Khilaya”

Kunj and Yuvi ties cloths around their heads and joins them to dance.
They start singing..

“Ho Teri Malmal Ki Kurti Gulabi Ho Gayi
Manchali Chaal Kaise Nawaabi Ho Gayi, Toh?..”

Kunj and Yuvi spins Mahi and Twinkle around by their waists and they a sing and dance.

“Balam Pichkari Jo Tune Mujhe Maari
Toh Seedhi Saadi Chhori Sharaabi Ho Gayi
Haa Jeans Pahen Ke Jo Tune Maara Thumka
Toh Lattoo Padosan Ki Bhabhi Ho Gayi (X2)..”

Twinkle,Kunj,Mahi and Yuvi continue rubbing powder on each other and chasing after each other.

Y&K-

T&M’-
“Mehenga Padega Ye Chaska Malaai Ka
Upvaas Karne Mein Teri Bhalaai Hai”

Yuvi picks up Mahi bridal style and drops her in the pool and Mahi pulls him in also..while Kunj and Twinkle were having a ball of a time dancing.

“Ho Bindiya Teri Mehtaabi Ho Gayi
Dil Ke Armaanon Mein Behisaabi Ho Gayi

Balam Pichkari Jo Tune Mujhe Maari
Toh Seedhi Saadi Chhori Sharaabi Ho Gayi
Haa Jeans Pahen Ke Jo Tune Maara Thumka
Toh Lattoo Padosan Ki Bhabhi Ho Gayi

Yuvi and Mahi comes back and joins them..

They all clap for each other and cheer.

Finally when they were alone, Kunj pulled Twinkle away and braced her by the wall. Twinkle smirked and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Kya hua? My husband angry at me?” She asked staring him down with her firy eyes. Kunj twitched and moved extremely closer. “Haan. Why did you rub stuff in my face and then left me alone? Thats so mean honey.” He said faking his baby voice. “Acha? All is fair during holi time.” She said and Kunj rolled his eyes. “Oh please….Anyway. You did wrong and now you have get a punishment.” He said and smirked. Twinkle gulped a little and said,”And what is my punishment?”
He thought for a while and spotted a laddoo not far away. He reached for it and brought it forward. Twinkle looked at him startled. “This..is your punishment.”
“What?” Twinkle asked. “My love.. you have to feed me this laddoo…”
Twinkle sighed and Kunj laughed. “Not so easy.. You have to feed me with your mouth.” Twinkle’s jaw dropped. Kunj winked at her and said,”Go on..”
“But Kunj..” She began but he stopped her. He slowly placed the laddoo in her mouth. Twinkle took it in her mouth and he bit off the other end. This continued happening till the last piece had left. Kunj smiled since he knew that he was going to get an extra piece of sweet to meet lips. He smirked and moved closer to Twinkle as she closed her eyes.
Sajna ve plays Kunj’s lips meet Twinkle’s. Kunj kissed her hard while Twinkle became a fan of his taste. Their kiss lasted for a while until they were finally out of breath. They pulled away, breathing fast. Kunj smiled and kissed Twinkle on her cheek and she turned crimson. “I love laddoos.” Twinkle blushed again and pushed Kunj away and ran. He smiled and ruffled his hair. He picked up another laddoo and stuffed it into his mouth and ran behind Twinkle.

“Happy Holi Kunj!” Mahi said squeezing Kunj into a hug. “Happy Holi di!” Kunj screamed hugging back.

“Twinkle! Happy holi!” Yuvi yelled in Twinkle’s ear as he rubbed abeer all over her. “Idiot!” She said as she placed her hands over her ears. She smirked and picked up a glass and made him drink. “Yaar Twinkle! Yeh toh bhang hay!” Mahi said and Kunj laughed. “Aww Yuvi.” He said.
“Why are you laughing? Come here!” Twinkle yelled and Kunj realised she was going to make him drink it also. “Arre Twinkle noo!!” Twinkle caught him and made him gulp the milk down. Both Kunj and Yuvi started wobbling and spinning around. “Jaan!!” Yuvi yelled and began playing with Mahi’s hair.
Kunj was a bit in his senses and picked up another glass and caught Twinkle. “Yeh lo. Drink!” He said and he,Yuvi and Twinkle were all drunk in half an hour while Mahi tried to control them.

Twinkle and Kunj kept spinning around singing on top of their voices. Kunj began beating the drums loudly.

“Ae hey hey hey hey hey hey, oh ho ho ho ho ho ho Ho ho ho oh, ho ho ho..”

Kunj spins Twinkle around and another big performance takes place..He sings.

“Soni soni ankhiyon waali Dil deja ya deja tu gaali Soni soni ankhiyon waali Dil deja ya deja re humko tu gaali
Hum tere deewane hain, hum aashiq mastaane hain x2”

Twinkle-

“Jhoothi jhoothi batiyon waale Bholi soorat, dil ke hai kaale Jhoothi jhoothi batiyon waale Bholi soorat, dil ke hai dil dil yeh kaale
Yeh aashiq lut jaane hain, dil sab de tut jaane hain…”

They dance and have a wonderful time despite being drunk.

Night had fallen and Twinkle and Kunj were under a tree staring each other, Both still intoxicated.

“Kunnjjjjjj…” Twinkle said dragging her voice and playing with his nose.

“Twinkii!!” Kunj said in his cute baby wala voice.

“Mujhe Twinkii mat kaho..” She replied pouting.
“Kyun? Tum bohot cute ho Twinkii.”
“Kunj shut up.” She said. “No!”
“Shut up!”
“Make me!”
“Shhh!” Twinkle said putting her finger on her lips. Kunj smirked and kissed her finger while she jumped. “Haww!”
“Twinkii mujhe kiss chaheyeh.” He said pulling her cheeks.
“No! You had on earlier.” She said and he laughed. “That was earlier. I want one now!” He said pouting.
Twinkle gave a small grin and got up. Kunj looked at her suspiciously and got up too. She leaned closer to him and said,”Well,you have to catch me first!” She said and ran as fast as she could. Kunj frowned and yelled,”That’s cheating Twinkle!”
“Haan toh?” Twinkle yelled back. Kunj ran towards her but she kept leaping away from him. He stopped and pretended to be crying. “Twinkii. I hate hide and seek! Please come out.” He said pleadingly and Twinkle melted. “I’m right here!” She said but Kunj sat right there with his palms on his face and his elbows on his knees. “No. You’re over there! I’m jealous of there. I want you here Twinkle.” Twinkle melted even more. She crept behind him and wrapped his arms around him. “I’m here now!” Suddenly Twinkle heard him sniffing and she felt her hands getting wet.
“Kunj..Are you crying?”
She asked and sat in front of him. She saw tears streaming down his cheeks and immediately got concerned. She wiped his tears and felt his face hotter than fire. “Kunj you have a fever!”
Kunj held her hand and said,”No Twinki..I’m ok.”
Twinkle looked at him and cupped his face. “Kunj don’t lie to me. You’re ill. Come lets go in the room. You have to rest.”
“Noo. Ok i wont lie. My eyes are burning and i feel extremely cold but i don’t want to go upstairs. Please lets stay here? I wanna stay with you outside. Pleaseee Twinkle?!!” He begged and she finally gave in.
“Ok Kunj. But if your fever gets worst, we’re going to the hotel. Ok?”
Kunj smiled and nodded.
Twinkle helped him to a nearby tree where he laid his head on her shoulder and Twinkle wrapped her arms around him and kissed his forehead. “I feel so much warmer.” He said as he closed his eyes. Twinkle smiled and played with his hair. “I had an amazing day.” She said leaning on the tree staring at the stars above. “Me too…Good night Twinkle.”
“Good night Kunj.”

“Good night Usha aunty.
Good night Manohar uncle,” she thinks then smiles.
“Fine..Good night maa aur papa.”

The wind howled, the leaves blew, the branches twitched, the owls hooted and the bells chimed as the night wished them both a happy holi. And they both fell asleep.
