Back again with chapter 19 ❤

“She’s losing words because of me?? Does this mean that i have an effect on her. So still i have a chance??” Shivaay mentally thinks and his face brightens up.
“Why did he give me these worm-killing tablets. Am i sick or what?” She thinks and throw the tablet away.
“It’s already 10 and he hasnt called me for the cooking classes. I saw him munching popcorn when i came out of the room. He safisfied his tummy. I should satisfy mine too na..” she thinks with a pout.
“Dont worry baba.. we’ll have something” she talks to her stomach.
While on the other hand.. “shivaay your popcorn wont fill your tummy. She made you angry. So She is not getting her cooking classes today. Why are you fasting yourself?!? I can go to the kitchen now and cook for myself…. wait!! she’ll be waiting for me to come out. But im hungry for god’s sake!!!!” He keeps ranting.
Vicky had dozed off. So he wasnt witnessing this grumbling tummies of shivika.
Anika quickly remembers about the foreign chocolates she had saved for Gauri. Shivaay coincidentally remembers about it too.
“Sorry Gauri!!” They both whisper simultaneously, seperately in their respective rooms with a puppy face.
It was dark outside. Shivaay heads out first and without turning on the lights goes to the fridge and picks out all the chocolates flavours and starts munching it leaning behind the fridge door.
Anika who usually is scared of dark turns on her mobile torch and tip toes to the fridge as well. Shivaay sees the light and hides himself on the other side of the fridge.
Anika opens the fridge door, switching off her mobile torch and is shocked to see only vanilla flavour toffies.
“Gadhe Advaay.. ? Doesnt he know that i love only chocolate flavours?? That idiot has bought Gauri’s favourite vanilla flavours. Curse you Advaay!!!” Anika silently squeals and closes the door. Shivaay who overhears it, chuckles.
Anika being a phasmophobic gets nervous hearing the chuckle sound. She didnt wanna turn on the mobile torch and see the ghost’s face.
“Err.. err.. bhooth bhaai.. dont kill me… im still single and havent lived my life yet.. please leave this house.. this house’s owner wont even feed you well.. it’s a waste of time for you to stay here. Please go..” she trembles with her words trying to compromise with the so called ghost.
Shivaay was enjoying this. He thought of a plan immedietly.
“Anika!!! Unless and untill you promise me that you will stop irritating this house’s owner ill haunt you!” He fakes a ghostly voice.
Anika feels a clutch on her throat. She was feeling dreadful now. She was totally astonished and was moving in inches to the direction of the voice.
Shivaay who was controling his laughter felt her steps towards him. Biting his tongue and sqeezing his face he turns his face around.
Vicky comes out yawning with his drooping eyes for water. He comes straight to the fridge.
Shivaay quickly pulls Anika by her waist. Anika who thought the shadow to be a ghost was about to shout. Shivaay closes her mouth with his other hand.
She could see his face because of the moon light that was gleaming through the window behind. His face was visible and more particularly his blue-green magical eyes. She had last witnessed these eyes when she fell off the sofa on her first day in this house.
They were too close just so they dont get caught by Vicky. One of his hands was on her bare waist that was uncovered by her crop top and the other was closing her mouth with her pink plumpy lips touching his inner palm.
She gulps down her throat slowly so that she doesnt disturb this moment. His hands on her milky waist, was sending chills through her spine. And his hand was the only barrier between their lips. They both shared a deep eyelock.
After drinking water, vicky rushes back to his room to continue his dream with Deepika padukone.
Shivaay gently removes his hand from her mouth. Breathing deeply, she parted her lips. Shivaay was controlling himself as much as he could.
Breaking the eyelock, Licking her lower lip and tucking her hair behind her ear she tries to move behind. She gets tugged back since his hand was still on her waist.
Shivaay realises and snakes his hand away. They both tried hard to break the awkward silence.
“Why… did… you.. scare.. me…?? I was almost dead!” She speaks up. He hides a smile and looks at her innocence.
She notices the chocolate flavours that he had dumped in his hoodie pocket.
“Hawww my chocolates.. you thief!!!!” She silently squeals. “I was hungry.. i havent eaten my dinner” he rebuked silently.
“Even i havent eaten. And and.. this is Gauri’s chocolates.” She says back with a puppy face.
“Why dont we share this??” He suggests. Anika gets thinking..
“But.. but..Fine..!!! Gauri is going to kill me if she gets to know!!” She whines and drops her head down.
“Hey.. we’ll buy her more chocolates from the supermarket. It’s justice to eat when hungry. Remember?? “Everything is fair in hunger and sleep” He reminds her, one of her ready-made proverbs.
She smiles and points her pinky finger out. “Pinky promise?? (He gives her a confused look) That you’ll buy her new chocolates?? She says and waits for his pinky finger to join hers.
He still confused, raises his pinky finger. She quickly intertwines it.
“Pinky promise” she says and he smiles seeing her childish side.
They both quickly start munching the chocolates and smiled at each other at times.
Later, filling their tummies, they decide to keep the remaining in the fridge. It was quarter past 11 when they finally decide to depart to their rooms. Sharing a smile, she turns around to go, when suddenly he pulls her by her elbow.
Both were anticipating something, something they have no idea will be their life’s deepest desire, something that will turn their lives upside down any minute..
He slowly nears her and rubs of the chocoloate that was smeared on the outline of her lip. She shivered in his touch.
“Dont return to you room like this and get scared seeing yourself in the mirror” he whispers and she chuckles.
They both hop to their rooms and peeps outside simultaneously signalling a “good night”.
Closing the door, Anika touches the place where he rubbed and squeals in joy while shivaay cups his face and blushes.
Late the next morning, both shivaay and Anika were rushing for work since they have slept late.
Vicky comes and opens the fridge casually.
“I saw more chocolates here yesterday..” he says scratching his head. Shivaay and Anika look at each other and both shrugs their shoulders to Vicky and secretly smiles.
“Im sure i saw more here” Vicky whines.
“Bhooth bhaai would have stolen it” Shivaay comments looking at Anika.
Anika controls her blush and quickly waving a goodbye to both she heads out smiling to the outer world.
