A car halted at the city life hospital. As soon as it put its brakes, Riddhima ran out of the car and inside the hospital with Sejal and Vansh following her. Kabir stayed back home with Rihanna who was still unaware of everything. As they entered the hospital, Riddhima went to the reception and required about Randhir.

Riddhima: Randhir Shah, he’s admitted here. Which ward? (worried)

Rec: Ward no. 5 (as she checked)

Riddhima: Thank you!

Riddhima ran towards the lift and entered, pressing the 2^nd floor button, very well sure of the ward to be present there. Vansh and Sejal entered in quickly. Vansh noticed Riddhima all the while, she was as if another Riddhima. Not the one he knew, the one he knew hated her father and now all of a sudden the love. As the lift reached, she rushed out to see her mom, brother and sister waiting outside the Operation Theatre. Riddhima went to her mom who broke down as soon as she saw her. Tightly hugging her, Riddhima stopped back her tears.

Riddhima: How’s he? What happened exactly? (tears)

Aryan: The doctors haven’t informed anything yet, there are performing a surgery. (emotional)

Vansh: but how did this happen?

Aryan: He was standing in the balcony when all of a sudden he fell down with his hand clutching his left chest. And we brought him straight away here. It was a massive attack.

Uma: Riddhima….nothing will happen….right? (crying)

Riddhima: Mom, relax, nothing will. God will set everything right.

Riddhima gently caressed Uma’s back and comforted her. She led her to the seat and placed her there. Uma had been crying constantly. She had drained her energy. Riddhima went to the Operation Theatre door and through the small glass gap saw Randhir lying on the bed with lots of pipes attached to him and the doctors working on him. Her heart pained when she saw her father in such a condition.

But all of a sudden, some flashes started playing in her mind and her face turned into a frowned which was noticed by everyone.  Breathing heavily she walked backwards, her eyes still on Randhir and tears full of pain and sorrow rolled down her cheeks.

Siya: Di please calm down. (rubbing Riddhima’s back)

Aryan: Try forget all of that for now at least Riddhu.

Riddhima: I can’t! I can’t!

Riddhima turned and ran away with tears flowing continuously. Sejal was about to go behind her when Vansh insisted that he would instead. Trying to match her pace, he followed her to the hospital’s showroom. The door was shut but he could hear heavy sobs across the door. Opening it slightly he saw Riddhima hugging her knees and crying out loudly. Not being able to see her in such a state he went to her and took her in his embrace, providing her the warmth and comfort she needed at such a time.

Vansh: Shshh, Riddhima calm down. (patting her back) Please calm down.

Riddhima: Vansh….he (crying)

Vansh: First stop crying and then tell me everything that you want to.

Vansh backed off the hug and wiped off the tears that spoilt her beautiful angelic face. She lovingly looked at him who busy removing her tears, she felt special.

Vansh: Now let them flow Riddhima, let your feelings flow. Talk it out, if you don’t it’ll suffocate you. (cupping her face) You hated your dad and after seeing you today, I was very surprised. Tell me, share it with me.

Riddhima: Vansh you know, no one hates their father from the beginning. Even I didn’t. He was my role model, he was my super hero, and he was the most special person in my life.  Out of us three, he loved me the most, pampered me, and spoilt me, everything you can list. I used to share lots of things with him, all my feelings. We were a perfect family.

She reminisced how she spent beautiful moments with her father.

Flashback

A five year old Riddhima is seen pulling her hesitant father’s hand in a park that was quiet.

Riddhima: Daddyyy come pleash!! (please)

Randhir: Princess please look, it’s so high, you’ll fall. I don’t want my baby to get hurt! (trying to stop)

Riddhima: Daddy I won’t fall. You will be there with me. My hero! Daddy pleash!!  (trying to pull him) It’s just a slide!

Randhir: Princess no.

Riddhima: Daddy! (cute eyes)

Randhir: Princess, those eyes.

Riddhima: Lesh go! Yaay!! (shouting)

Riddhima pulled her father to the slide and they both slid together down, having extreme fun with each other.

Flashback ends.

Riddhima: He couldn’t see me hurt or upset at any times. (sobbing) All the time princess this, princess that. He was as I said my super hero. (chuckling sadly)

Vansh: Then why do you hate him now?

Riddhima looked at him with tears brimming in her eyes as she remembered the night that spoilt everything.
