Hiten Tejwani, who was last seen in Gupta Brothers, is back on the small screen with the show Swaran Ghar. Interestingly, Hiten was originally approached for the role of Ajeet Lamba in the show.
Hiten talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “The makers had earlier approached me for another part. However, things did not work out for some reasons. Producers Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta have been dear friends and when they approached me for this character, I couldn’t decline.”
Talking about the lost opportunity he said, “Whenever things don’t materialize, I take it well, as I believe that something better is in the offing. Honestly, when I was approached for the show initially, I was quite busy with other projects in the digital and film space. Managing a daily soap with other commitments is not possible. So, I was also not very sure at that point.”
Talking about his character, Hiten shared, “I play Arjun Deol, a dynamic and powerful business tycoon. It will be interesting to see how his path crosses Swaran (Sangita) and Ajeet’s.”
The actor is currently shooting in Chandigarh for the show. “Apart from this show, I am also doing a couple of films, including one in the South. However, I will be able to manage both these projects, as I have finished half of the shoot for the film. It won’t disturb my routine. I am at the stage where I am only trying to take up interesting characters and tracks that run for just six-seven months,” he concluded.
