Laksh woke up and saw ragini standing before him. He smiled another dream I think I’m going to go nuts without you. Ragini cleared her voice and she said coffee. Laksh was shocked so he stood up in a reflex and hugged her. Ragini was so shocked at his actions. He has never acted like this before. She was dumstruck when he placed a peck on her cheeks. Laksh felt her state so he left her and started sipping her coffee. How much he missed her and her coffee. He felt like his room was alive after gloomy darkness of her absence.
Ragini her mother in law voice called. So she went down towards her mother in law. “Maa you called me”. “Yes beta I need you to go to the jewellery shop along with laksh and get some jewelleries for you and some gifts for your brother’s bride and him as your brother’s wedding is coming up”. “Maa there’s no need I already have many for myself. For my brother there’s no need of that maa “. “Beta dont go denying you are our family and so its not only our duty but our love for you. So stop making excuses and go”.
Maa but laksh is not feeling well. He fainted yesterday right she questioned
Yesterday Night
Laksh was so in sorrow as he missed her so much. He shouldnt have let her go. Now that she has gone he couldn’t bring himself to accept a life without her. He looked at the divorce papers she had signed and gave him before leaving. He hadn’t signed it because he knew that very moment how much he loved her.
He knew that she hadnt disclosed this to her family yet as there was no reaction from her parents. So he decided to use it as his advantage and explain her that he too loves her and needs her and cant imagine a life without her. So he hadnt signed in those papers. He didn’t have food the whole day as he kept on thinking ways to bring her back. All of a sudden darkness engulfed him and he knew that he was lucky as his uncalled faint was a blessing that brought ragini back.
Present
Laksh heard his mom and ragini speaking. He knew what he had to do. He wore a white shirt and black jean that his ragini had gifted him. Laksh was looking dashing as he came down the stairs. Ragini was once again caught in his eyes. Her eyes widened as she realised that the dress was her gift to him. What has gotten into him she thought. Anyways you shouldnt keep high hopes because you are going to go away from this house forever her mind chided.
Laksh greeted his mom with a hug.”Ok mom let me take my wife away for the shopping. See you later” he waved a bye as she gave him card to purchase jewelleries. Ragini silently followed him as they stepped out of their house.
She told laksh “Laksh i dont know what game you are playing but this will be over once my brother’s marriage is over. I’ll tell everyone so there’s no need to pretend” and sat in the car. He smiled as he thought” yes I deserve atleast this much. I will make you fall for me and also Ill makeup for everthing and show you how much I love you”.
He said “Who said we are going by the car we are going by the bike”. Ragini rolled her eyes as she stated that bike was given to service and will return by today eve. How he wished to travel in the bike with her. Better luck next time he told himself as he sat in the car and started driving. He played songs that she used to listen. Ragini looked out of the window and silently wiped her tears as the lines played

She reminisced her moments with him. A little smile formed over her lips that pulled back within remembering that it was only her one sided love for him that which would never be able to tell him.
They reached the shop . Before ragini could step out she saw laksh opening the door for her. She wished for his love that moment she wanted more of him. She decided to capture these little moments with him so she could live the rest of her life with those memories.
They shopped almost everything in the list. Laksh has seen many movies and decided to use the jewellery scene upon ragini. She was seeing necklace. Laksh excused himself by saying that he had to make a call. He went to the fancy neckchain section. As he was seeing a particular chain caught his attention. It was a blue butterfly with a thin chain. They say butterfly is a symbol of love which symbolises a rare and gentle love and grants the wish of forever. So he bought it. As he was about to bill one more thing caught his attention it was a beautiful cupid arrow necklace with the letter “L”. He wanted her to be struck with arrow of his love and be smitten with him.
He billed them both and bought it with his money. Though he bought it in silver as he could afford them only with his money. One day he would buy her more costly ones. As ragini was trying on various necklace she was not sure of which to buy. Laksh arrived and said having problems in selecting wifey? Let me help you he said as he looked at the various necklace and picked a floral one. It had Red roses and violet flowers with vines connecting them. He placed it over her neck from back. As they both looked into mirror they were lovestruck. That specs had some magical spell which pulled him closer to her eyes. That’s a good one sir chirped the salesgirl. He smiled as ragini picked that up. They paid for the rest with the card his mother gave them.
As soon as they got into the car he picked up the cupid neckchain and removed the tag. He told her to move a little front and put the chain around her neck. Ragini looked down at the chain it was an arrow with letter L engraved on a heart shaped pendant. She remembered the day of her marriage which was soon going to end. She knew that he wouldnt buy these normally. Maybe mom told him to buy that for her she thought. But nevertheless any sign of him was not less than any precious gems she thought. After making her wear the chain laksh felt a sense of satisfaction he was overjoyed.
He pulled his car over towards him home.
Far away in the distance cathy and her friends were watching this. So this is why he dumped you. For her. You lost to that behenji Cathy teased her friends. I’ll make sure that boyfriend stealer learns her lesson. What will you do Cathy. We are in our final year anyway her friends told. cathy said you will see to it.
As they reached home ragini’s face light up as she saw her brother rishi there. She ran up and hugged him. It’s been only a day sissy and you miss me. All you did was work and never made time for me so yes I miss you she said. For making time for you Laksh is there right, I didnt want to be the third wheel he teased. Laksh smiled at rishi as he came for a hug. How jealous he was of him when he mistook him to be someone else.
