Anika couldn’t believe what she heard and stood flag-stabbed , while Shivaay realised what he spoke in the heat of moment and looked at her.

‘’shivaay..woh’’ before Anika could complete

‘’I am sorry for my behaviour Anika. I was immersed in some other thoughts when you came to meet and in that mind set I have hurt you by my actions and words.’’

He didn’t wait for her reply and said ‘’we should get back to work’’ she nodded.

All the while driving, she looked at him , he knew she was looking at him, but he tried to not look at her , because he knew if he reciprocates she would ask him what he meant and clearly he didn’t know what to answer, though he knew what he feels for his Stupid.

They reached Oberoi Office and Om was waiting for him….

———–Shivaay’s Cabin, Oberoi Industries

‘’Om…everything okay?’’ Shivaay questioned

‘’She is here…Riddhima is here…now what is she upto?’’

‘’She is the one who will be working here with us for the deal with Australian clients. I already said you ‘’

‘’but after knowing her and her deeds do you think we should ‘’

‘’I know Om , that’s why I decided to cancel this deal…you don’t worry…I will take care’’

‘’Shivaay, you know we will be at loss, our reputation will be at stake and the shares will fall…still you want to do this?’’

‘’yes Om…nothing is more important than my family …I will rebuild what we lose , but I cannot rebuild my family ..we have seen and faced the worst, then we couldn’t do anything, but now I am capable…I have you, Priyanka and Rudra by my side…we will face it together’’

‘’I am in Bhayya….i will support you’’ Priyanka spoke

‘’Prinku…you…you were supposed to come ‘’ om looked at her and questioned

‘’I know Om bhayya…but how did you think I will leave you and enjoy myself when the trouble has knocked the doors…’’

‘’but who said you?’’ Shivaay asked

‘’I called Dadi to know about all, then she said about Riddhima’s entry…and I couldn’t stay back, took the first flight and reached here…so what’s the plan bhayya’’

Shivaay and Om smiled seeing their baby sister grow really strong and confident.

‘’We first need to calculate the losses that will occur if we cancel this deal.. also we need to ensure the name of Oberois doesn’t get stained due to this…so ‘’

‘’So?’’ Om asked

‘’so I think we must do something else before cancelling the deal…something that keeps the reputation high while people doesn’t care about the cancellation deal’’ Priyanka said

‘’perfect…but what?’’ Shivaay asked

‘’Charity’’ Om suggested

‘’no…charity should be done in secrecy not for publicity…I am not so keen regarding this’’

‘’true’’

‘’let’s see and think about it…but first I will ask Anika to estimate the losses , so that we can plan further’’

‘’Yes’’ Prinku and Om said

They three hugged each other and missed Rudra…

‘’where is he these days?’’ Prinku asked

‘’In Nanded…with Saumya’’ Om replied

‘’does he know about Riddhima’s return?’’ Shivaay asked

‘’nope…he doesn’t..he is still young, so I prefer we don’t tell him ‘’ Priyanka suggested

‘’but he will feel bad ..i think we should tell him…it should not come as a surprise to him and mostly that Riddhima can do anything being near to us’’ Om suggested

‘’yes…let’s say him’’ Shivaay said

‘’I think you must talk to him Shivaay bhayya, because none can explain him better than you’’ Priyanka said

‘’will do it…in the lunch hour’’ Shivaay replied

Priyanka and Om returned to their workstations while Shivaay called Anika for a real urgent meeting.

———-Meeting Room

‘’Shivaay you called for an urgent meeting?’’

‘’yes…please take your seat’’

‘’what happened?’’

‘’I know whatever I say now will come as a shocker to you, but this is important and should be kept confidential. I hope you would not break this trust of mine’’

‘’you can trust on me Shivaay’’

‘’fine…we …I mean I , Om and Priyanka have decided to withdraw Oberoi Industries services from the Australian deal.’’

‘’whaat?’’ Anika sprang up from her chair

‘’Anika..’’

‘’Shivaay, I was managing this deal and we were going great..then why this suddenly’’

‘’that’s why I said whatever I am gonna say will come as shocker to you..but Anika, this is the need of hour and we ought to do it…right now i need your services on a fire fighting scale’’

‘’yeah..yes..what can I do ?’’ Anika spoke with saddened tone

‘’I want you to calculate the losses if we withdraw this deal..every possible loss, every estimated loss and every other loss we may incur…all this I need by the end of the day today..so that I can decide from tomorrow how to cover up the losses’’

‘’Shivaay monetary losses , you can recover but the major loss will be reputation and how much ever you try, you will not be able to bring it back again…think that’’

Shivaay looked at her

‘’I will leave now and get back to work’’ she stood up

‘’Anika..i know and can understand what you are feeling now…I know it’s first major project that you have achieved for us after lots of personal and professional hardships and now I am saying we are withdrawing.. but’’

‘’it’s okay Shivaay…I am not the owner of the Oberoi Industries , I am a mere employee and I have to do my work keeping my personal emotions at bay…’’ she spoke without turning and left from there

Shivaay TAM ‘’from the moment we met, intentionally or unintentionally i have been hurting you..i so wish I could give you lots of happiness that is due to you…let this problem go away, I will pay back everything with interest’’

———————Before the end of the day

‘’May I come in Shivaay?’’ Anika knocked the door

Om went ahead to open the door…

Priyanka, Gauri, shivaay and Om were already present in the room

‘’Anika is the work done?’’

‘’Yes Shivaay, here is the report of what you asked. Just let me know if you have any queries’’

Shivaay took the file and looked at her…Her face was pale and he could see how hurt she was on losing the project she was handling till now….

‘’Anika…you may take your seat..we were discussing about’’

‘’Sorry Shivaay….my work time officially ended, so I need to leave. I have to take care of my younger brother. ‘’

‘’fine’’ he said being upset as well

‘’Anika didi…wait for 5 inutes, I will also join you’’ Gauri spoke

‘’I will be in my cabin winding my things…just come when you are done with the discussion…excuse me’’ she said and left from there.

‘’what happened to her ?’’ Priyanka asked

‘’she is upset Prinku. This deal she was handling from the beginning and now our decision has hit her real bad’’ Om explained

‘’to be very frank, I am also not keen on losing out this project, but there is no other go at this time’’ Priyanka concluded

‘’Can I say something?’’ Gauri spoke

Everyone looked at her

‘’I donno what the problem is and why you have taken such major decision, but onething i am sure, if Anika didi gets to know the exact reason, she can come up with some mid way to tackle this… there are many reasons why I am saying this but most most important reasons are I know her capabilities and secondly she knows the pros and cons in this project and she has been handling very efficiently till now….anyways this is just a suggestion…you are the final ones to take a call…’’ she got up pushing everyone into thoughts, while she took permission and left from there

—————–The same Day night

‘’Bhayya, Prinku, Dadi…….’’ Rudra called stepping in

‘’Ru……..you came back?’’

‘’yes dadi…I am back’’

‘’So good to see you back, now I feel my house has got back to it’s charm’’

Shivaay, Om and Prinku came to the living room and they all had a group hug

‘’Rudra…I asked you not to come, then why are you back’’ Shivaay asked

‘’because I want to stand along with you…I know I am not capable of, but I can’t even stay back there’’

‘’you will be creating wonders very soon Rudra’’ Shivaay hugged his baby brother

‘’well…go take rest…and don’t worry about anything…’’

‘’I know…when you three lions are there, what will I have to worry for…waise I will also join along soon…okay’’

‘’why? To bring down the house right?’’ Om teased

‘’no..to make everyone mad’’ Priyanka replied

Everyone had a chat for a while forgetting all the tensions behind and later got back to their rooms….however Gauri’s words ringed in Shivaay’s ears….he was very much upset to see Anika sad.

His thoughts travelled to his childhood

‘’Khadoos …what’s up?’’

‘’nothing trying to construct something ‘’

‘’exactly what are you trying to do’’

‘’uff can’t you stay quiet for a while stupid..can’t you see I am in a mess’’

‘’fine I am leaving’’

‘’okk fine…sorry…stay back…I will not be able to concentrate if you leave upset’’

‘’no need…do your work…who am i…a disturbance right’’ she pouted being sad

‘’stupid’’ he cupped her face ‘’please’’

‘’ok ..don’t apply butter..do your work, while I sit here quietly’’

He smiled and was trying to construct something with the tools that lay beside, but he was not able to…frustrated he threw everything that he did till then

‘’have you gone mad Khadoos…who does so…the hardwork you have put to construct it here till now has gone into waste….why do you take decisions so impulsively’’ she reprimanded

‘’stupid you know me well, if something troubles me, I will make it away before it becomes a problem…right now this construction is troubling me, and I will think of it again and again and in this process I will not do my other works properly and everything will be affected…this trouble will turn into problem…so I threw it’’

‘’you are mad, Khadoos…really mad…’’

‘’Do you have any better solution?’’

‘’offcourse yes’’

‘’then tell me , what are you waiting for’’

‘’you can take help of someone and then complete it…can’t you think of this simple step…’’

He looked at her

‘’who will help me? ‘’

‘’who else can help you, other than me?’’ she winked

‘’really’’

‘’yep…now don’t waste time and come , we will make this together…’’

‘’Fine…’’

They both sat and started constructing helping eachother when one was going wrong and finally they did it…unable to contain the excitement…Anika , the stupid hugged Shivaay the khadoos and both smiled heartily

‘’Khadoos…look…we have done it’’

‘’yes…we did it’’

‘’No need to thank me okay…’’ she spoke upping her collar

‘’I will not,  even in your dreams…isn’t it your responsibility to help me when I am in need stupid?’’

‘’huhh…look at the attitude…’’

He set his hair in swag ..she teased him bringing his tongue out

‘’how dare you stupid’’

She again teased him and started running…the chase continued till they fell on the bed

‘’Thanks Stupid…you know you are the best and promise me, whenever I am in trouble you will help me’’

‘’it’s a promise Khadoos…I will be there to bring you out of your trouble…but yes….onething is for sure’’

‘’and what’s that’’

‘’I should be the only person to trouble you…and if anyone else troubles you, they will have to face me first…deal?’’

‘’deal but with a change…’’

She looked on

‘’if someone else troubles me , we will face them together…’’

They both hified and chuckled

Shivaay TAM ‘’Stupid ..i am in trouble…wouldn’t you remember your promise and come over to help me…’’

When he heard his mobile ringing……looking at the watch, he picked the call and was surprised to hear Anika ‘s voice

‘’you at this time….is everything okay’’ he asked concerned

‘’I need to talk to you…about the deal’’

‘’Anika…did you look at the time, we can talk tomorrow..you should be taking rest now…’’

‘’Shivaay, I have not called you as your employee now…I have called you as your …your..’’ she was searching words

‘’as my what’’
