Sanskar’s POV
It was Sunday morning when I got call from my PA. What he told was enough to take the land beneath my feet.
The only hope for my company was shattered. The contract which I and laksh got with difficulty was being snatched and given to our biggest rival Arya IND. and now the investors are demanding the money back.
The whole family was in tension, even Sumi ma,Shekhar papa were present and discussing the matter. I asked dad,bade papa and laksh to come to study so that we can make investors and take them under the confidence. No better idea was coming out of the discussion when, to adverse the situation laksh took swara’s name.
” Tch… I’m hell confused,if swara would have been here,she could have given good ideas….I really miss her”,laksh said. And the anger of mine reached to infinite height, I banged the table and stromed out of room to relax myself.
Writer’s POV
” What is this laksh you should think before speaking” dp said.” Really papa, you should have told this to Bhai when he throwed swara from house after betraying her” he retorted and left.
Sanskar moved to his room and open the wardrobe to take out a bottle of wine when a photo get slipped from beneath the drawer. He took it and remembered the day when everything got fine. Laksh returned safe and sound with his adopted daughter.
Flashback
” Now everything is fine, my both sons and Dil are back . I don’t need anything now ” ,AP said,everyone smiled except one person. They all went to house temple and prayed for bright future of theirs.
” But I want a proper welcome of my dils”,sujata said in her usual style to which everyone agreed and called shemish.
Elders decided to send the dils on day itself so that they can bring them on Holi . Everyone agreed and our lovebirds swasan and raglak was standing there, lost in the eyes of their respective partner.
Sujata on noticing it started smiling and pinched AP to see. When all elders noticed it .they started testing them. On being caught swaragini moved to kitchen at excuse of preparing snacks and tea and sanlak moved to their respective rooms.
After a while finishing the chores swara moved to her room for meeting sanskar. On entering she found room empty so decided to check on balcony . She moved forward only to listen the sound of door locking ,she turned and found sanskar standing in a vest and jeans near door. Swara shyly smiled and sanskar came forward and said” kabse iss din ka intezaar that ki tum mere kaid me aao aur main tumhe bta saku ki tumse kitna pyaar krta hoon main”,swara goes red on listening it and tried to escape when sanskar pinned her to wall and kissed her forcefully. This act of sanskar left swara confused and teary. Sanskar noticed it and quickly apologized for his behavior by holding his ears, on which swara said ” nahi sanskar tum mera pyaar ho, tum chahe Jo Karo par mujhe pta h ki tum mujhe kabhi sapne mein bhi hurt nhi kr skte” ,saying this she hugged him to which sanskar smirked.
After a while both swaragini left with shemish to gm. In night after dinner and chat with parents swara moved to her room only to find sanskar waiting for her. Shocked was understatement for her. She quickly closed the door and came near sanskar and asked” sanskar tum yaha Kya kr rhe ho,kisi ne dekh liyato musibat ho jayegi”.” To Mera yahaan aana, apni biwi se baat krna musibat h” sanskar asked angrily. Swara understood the situation and pacified sanskar. After few mins of talk sanskar started getting intimate with swara. On protest from swara he increase his pressure to which swara can’t hold and gave in and after long and tiring intimacy,swara being tired slept. In morning, when swara woke up she did not found sanskar or any msg from him. She got sad but thought may be due to emergency he left. After making herself understand she started her day. In night again sanskar came and again same thing happened. This all continued for a week.
The next day, gm was decorated as bride as there was bidaai of their princesses. After a while mm member came except sanskar which saddened swara, but on everyone’s instance she decided to go to mm
On reaching mm sujata and AP taken aarti of swara and raglak and asked them to enter. Raglak entered and took blessings of elders but when swara started entering she was stopped by a voice. ” Stop Ms gadodiya, you can’t enter here” said no one but Sanskar who was sitting on a single sofa lazily and a smriking was playing of his face.
Everyone stood there shocked. Dp was first to come out of shock and asked” what kind of joke is this Sanskar?””bade papa,plz I m talking to my ex wife so no interference,hmmm”. Swara was shocked to core by this and looked at Sanskar questioningly, to which sanskar smriked and said ” I already filled the petition when you left me and now we are officially divorced,so you have no rights on me or my family.” Sanskar,behave yourself ” said laksh ,ragini was equally angered and said supporting swara ” sanskar ji, AP aisa nhi kr skte,aap toh swara see it pyaar krte h na?”..”Nhi….krta that par isne Mera dil bharosa sab tod diya,mujhe apni Zindagi se aise nikal Diya jaise Mai kabhi that hi nhi, to aaj Mai is apne see Jude har khwab ,har rishte ,har har se Azad krta hoon” sanskar screamed and dragged swara to the entrance of mm with family trailing behind them.
He throwed swara on road and insulted her.each family member was trying to stop sanskar but he did not listened to them and continued his venom spitting. Sujata after having enough slapped Sanskar and said” Hoss me aao Sanskar woh tumhari swara h”” Mar gayi Meri swara….Mar gayi Meri swara jab usne mujhe chhod kr Jana sahi samjha ….I don’t care yeh jiye ya mare…par abb yw yaha nhi rahegi….” Sanskar said ddetermined and turned only to get a punch on his face by laksh and started fighting with him.
” SWARA….” Sanskar and laksh were fighting when they heard ragini screaming and searching swara madly . Laksh leave sanskar and goes to ragini only to find that swara was gone.
Everyone scolded sanskar but he bothered not for a single word instead started bossing everyone in offiy and home too. Everything changed and everyone too. Ladies of mm started hating sanskar and laksh will open his mouth just to taunt. Only ram and dp used to talk him that too formal only. He stopped spending time with family and indulge himself in business, but did it helped? A big NO. The business was constantly going down and after their rival Arya IND entry, maheshwaris we’re on verge of bankruptcy. The last hope that contract too they lost.
Sanskar came out of his thoughts when his phone rang. On examining surrounding he found it was morning, a monday. On receiving call, his PA on other side informed him that there is an emergency BoD meeting has been scheduled. Sanskar agreed to come and got ready to go to office.
On reaching office, he came across many sad faces and dull good mornings but as he was a little late so ignoring them, he moved to meeting room. The important personas of company was sitting there and a lady of mid 30 was standing over there and some discussion was already going on. Sanskar smiled confusingly and sat at his place.
” As we all know maheshwaris business is almost bankrupt and may get closed anytime”, Leena said smrikingly.” So, why don’t you give your shares to Arya ind. It will save the company from getting locked as well as think about your employees too”” they are our employees, and we know what is best for them” said sanskar angrily. To which Leena smiled and said “You tell me the final decision Mr dp maheshwari ,so that we can sign the papers tommorow” ” you are so sure that this merger will happen, Miss Leena ” sanskar asked tauntingly .Leena smiled and said ” you don’t have choice even Mr sanskar maheshwari” and left.
” Your work is done, Highness” Leena msged and moved out of the office.
” She was right , we don’t have any choice. we have to accept the offer” ” but,bade papa…” ” Enough sanskar you said and did more than enough now it’s my turn. And it’s not about me our family but about our staff who rely on us for their living.we can’t throw them in between to suffer. I have decided to accept the deal” ” I’m with you in this papa” said laksh ” yes bhaisa if God will again show mercy we will make it again but right now we have to think for them who worked more than us ” said ram supporting his brother .” Fine….if you all have decided then what can I do? Go ahead” said sanskar annoyingly and left.
Dp sighed and msged Leena to inform that they are ready. Phone beeped, on seeing the msg the reader smriked and took a sip of wine in her hand.
Next day, everyone was present Leena completed every procedure and explained every clause .” So the last but most important clause. It reads that after this merger Mr Sanskar maheshwari will have no rights in the company and will terminate from his post immediately after merger come in action” Leena said smrikingly. Shocked was understatement for Sanskar , he tried to protest but a glare from dp made him silent.
The merger happened and company got saved. Lives and jobs were saved but someone was left penniless. Sanskar was busy in his thoughts when Leena said that there is party in ABC hotel and every one is invited to join the evening ,” it is must for everyone to come as our Highness, the real owner of this company is coming in front of the world for first time. So I expect you all to be there.” She said further and moved out of the office.
At evening in the party, everyone was present. It was looking like whole city has gathered in the hall and why not. Everyone was willing to know about Highness. Mf and gf were too present but with different different reasons. Dp AP , ramsuj, raglak were present meet their so generous rival , sanskar was to meet his arch enemy who destroyed him to a beggar and shemish were present for their daughter ragini as she was in 2nd trip of pregnancy.
Suddenly a uproar occurred in hall that Highness is here. There was so much hustle and bustle just to see the Highness . Everyone turned to stage as anchor started praises”Ladies and gentlemen, as you all know Arya IND is one of the fastest growing industries in world and leading company in asia. But today after 5 yrs of its establishment it is the first time the owner is coming out publicly. So plz welcome Arya vaghela aka Highness.
A lady in pure black full sleeve gown with collar neck came under spotlight. Her hairs were done in a tight bun and with minimal makeup she was looking beautiful. Each and every person was awesome by her beauty but some people felt so nostalgic to say anything and there was someone who was seething in fire.
After a long interview and several greetings the party finally came to end. Only the mf and gf were present. Arya was talking with her brother ram vaghela and sil Leena vaghela when someone can and hugged her,” Swara, where were you ,haan? Kaha thi tum?” asked ragini crying. Swara turned and her eyes went on ragini ,she put her hand on ragini’s baby bump and asked” second trimester?” Ragini hummed in response and swara smiled. Then one by one every one met here asked her a lot questions but she stayed silent and smiled a little. Ram and Leena were relaxed seeing her smiling and eventually a smile broke on their face.
Everyone was talking about swara and praising her when they heard a loud sound of glass shattering. On turning they found Sanskar fully drunk and coming towards swara. Ram asked gaurds to stop Sanskar but swara motioned them to stop . With slow predatory steps he came near swara and clutched her arms tightly.
” So, Ms Arya vaghela or swara gadodiya or Mrs swara sanskar maheshwari ….ufff itne naam hai tumhare Kya bulau tumhe …hu?”he said looking into her eyes in search of some emotions. ” Tumhe kuch bhi bolu par rahogi tum musibat hi, pehle Meri Zindagi barbaad ki, Meri family ko mere khilaaf Kiya aur ab mer business bhi khatma kr diya” he further said venomously on not finding any emotion or reaction. ” Abhi tumhara jee nhi bhara Jo mere samne khadi ho, ab Kya mujhe Marne ka irada h ?”he said and jerked swara. Sanskar drank a whole bottle in one go and continued to taunt swara and said” Tumhari wajah sem mere parivar wale mujhe sirf taana marte h, Mera Bhai mujhe Kosta h, Meri maa aur badi maa mujhse 5 saalo see bat nhi kr rhi, aur ab tumne mujhe ek ek paise ka mohtaj kr Diya, kyu an padi tumhare Dil ko thandak? Ya abhi kuch baaki h?? Haan.. bolo???”
Swara goes to Sanskar and sat on knee to match his height. She looked into his eyes and taking his hands in her said” Nhi Sanskar, mere Dil ko thandak nhi padi abhi”,Sanskar lifted his head to see swara. ” Mai tumhe ek ek Paisa ka nhi ek ek pal ka mohtaj banana chahti hu, tumhe har pal tadpta dekhna chahti hu”, she continued smilingly. She stood up while sanskar sat on floor listening to her” main chahti hu ki tum pal pal maro, main is baat ko hamesha assure karungi ki tum kabhi khush na raho,jante ho kyu??” she said bending ,” kyuki tumhari wajah se I LOST MY BABY” she shouted and left from there leaving behind a shattered sanskar maheshwari.
