Rajwinder remembers a troubling incident when Jarnail burned a girl alive after discovering their illegal business. She asks Suraj Singh to keep it a secret. Drunk Jarnail, in his confused state, faces Rajwinder’s anger. She throws his drink, slaps him, and blames alcohol for his behaviour. Rajwinder ties a black thread on his thumb, making him promise to stop drinking.
Fast forward to the present, Jarnail is scared and says her mother will not spare me she will send me to jail. Rajwinder reveals that the victim’s mother has been in a mental asylum for a year. The same woman is seen escaping. Few men chasing her. She hides behind a car and says I’m not going back to the asylum, she holds Heer’s photo. Ranjha, Navjot, and Heer are taking Beant Singh home in a car when the victim’s mother appears. She recognizes Heer but can’t call out. The police and asylum staff search for her but she escapes in a loading auto.
Gurmeet turns on the lights. To everyone’s surprise, they find decorations and guests at home. Beant Singh, confused, asks about the celebration. Heer assures him she’ll explain later. Heer guides Beant Singh to take his medications. Perplexed, he senses a wedding. Navjot advises him to stay calm. She reveals Heer is marrying Kuldeep Singh Atwal, shocking Beant Singh. Enraged at the Atwals, he wants the guests to leave. Heer calms him, and Beant Singh questions her decision.
Heer lies, claiming to love Kuldeep and unable to refuse his proposal. Beant Singh asks Ranjha to vouch for Heer’s words. Ranjha supports Heer’s lie, stating he knew about her feelings for Kuldeep. Gurmeet mentions the marriage in three days, leaving Beant Singh shocked. He questions how Heer can marry someone she barely knows.
Kuldeep and Rajwinder arrive, thanking everyone. Rajwinder apologizes to Beant Singh for the shocking news, insisting that when children are in love, elders should agree. Rajwinder questions Ranjha’s role, and when Navjot calls him a protector, she addresses him as a servant.
