During Pallavi’s muh dikhayi/introduction ceremony, Aparna praises Malini that she is looking beautiful. Malini says Pallavi is looking more beautiful. Pallavi and Nishant sit for ritual. Radha and Harish perform their aarti and then Aparna and Pankaj. Guests asks Aparna to call Adi and Malini for aarti next. Pallavi’s mother Pushpa asks her why she told Malini is a professor in her college. Pallavi says she will explain her later. Adi walks down. Aparna makes him stand next to Malini. Adi asks Malini why did she come here. Malini says maa called her. Aparna insists Adi and Malini to perform aarti and hopes Imlie doesn’t come here. She remembers going to Imlie and tells that she may grow big with her studies, but her place will not change in her heart, she would have asked something
Aditya says he will perform aarti with his wife and walks away from there. He goes to Imlie, insists her to accompany him, and holding her hand walks to living room and tells Panditji that Imlie is his wife and he will perform aarti with her. Guests discuss how can a servant be a bahu and one of them asks Aparna that she told Malini and Adi are back together, but Adi is calling Imlie as his wife. Adi says truth is Imlie is his first wife and he and Malini have separated; he didn’t want to inform about it this way, but didn’t have any other way. Neighbors question Harish that he is society’s chairman and their leader, how will he lead them if this happens in his own house. Another says people usually give clothes, food, and utensils to servants, but they gave their son to a servant. Another says they trapped innocent Malini who is from a rich family and has a respectable job, Aparna made a servant as bahu and seeing all this, they cannot stay here. All guests walk away.
Pushpa tells Tripathis that they betrayed her. Radha says they didn’t know about it and Imlie betrayed them. Pushpha says if she had known this, she wouldn’t have performed her daughter’s wedding in their house. Pallavi says Adi and Imlie are not wrong and she loves Imlie as her sister. Adi tells Aparna that she is worried about guests who will go home and forget what happened here, she should also accept Imlie like Malini did. Aparna confronts him that he ruined their dignity with his heinous act and confronts Imlie that she requested her not to come out, but Imlie wanted to reveal truth to everyone and is happy with it; maybe Imlie is habituated to bear people’s taunts and bend her head in front of them, but they are not; why don’t she go away from here and let them live in peace; illegitimate relationships don’t happen in their family, it may happen in Imlie’s family as she herself is illegitimate. Imlie walks to her room.
Adi comes out of house with Malini and says he knew his family will not easily accept Imlie, but didn’t know they would wrongly allege Imlie, especially maa. Malini says he should give tghem time as they are in shock. He says he doesn’t have any problem if they are angry on him, but they are adamant with one issue even after knowing that Imlie is Malini’s sister; they drag even her in this. Malini says she cannot deny maa’s request, but will not come here next time. Adi says she can come here anytime, but he wants maa to accept Imlie. She says she is feeling bad for Imlie. He says he knows how much she did for Imlie and wants her to inform family that their divorce is mutual and they were just friends and not lovers from before, she can live happily with Kunal and he will register his marriage with Imlie after divorce proceedings and will live happily with her but with elder’s blessings. Malini agrees and leaves reminiscing KC telling that she still feels for Adi and think how to tell Adi that she is shattering as divorce date is nearing.
Precap: Imlie participates in best bahu competition and challenges Aparna that she will win it as she enjoys buying tickets and her destiny is becoming best bahu. Aparna tears ticket and says she should book Pagdandiya ticket isntead and enjoy her trip.
