Malini asks Aditya to distract Imlie for 30 minutes while she prepares cake. Adi says Imlie is very intelligent. Malini says she knows. Adi says she is super intelligent and can solve problems way above her age. Malini says she is trying to explain him since long and says she brought her college’s admission form as Imlie’s birthday gift. He says Imlie is so intelligent that she can get admission in India’s best college. She asks if her college is not best. He says City College is good and they can fill forms of India’s best colleges, who knows she may get admission in India’s best college. Malini says her college is near home, so Imlie doesn’t have to stay in hostel and she is also there to take care of Imlie. Adi asks if Imlie’s growth is important or staying in this house, why is she taking this issue personally. She says she is as she feels something has changed between them and she is afraid that their thinking is not matching after marriage and they may develop a distance between them. He promises he will not let that happen and hugs her. Imlie calls him and says he solved Maths problem within 5 minutes. Malini asks what gift he is giving to Imlie after canceling her gift. He says Imlie will now run towards kitchen, so he will go and stop her. She stands smiling.
Dev tells Daadi that Imlie is 19 years old now and he doesn’t know what he should gift her. Daadi says she can give anything to Malini anytime, but has to think before gifting anything to her younger granddaughter, so she will gift her a chain on her birthday. Anu enters and asks if she didn’t give chain to Malini yet. Daadi says she will today. Dev asks Anu to accompany them to Malini’s house for Imlie’s birthday and reconcile with Malini as she didn’t speak to her after she created drama at Malini’s house last time. Anu says she cannot withstand Imlie, so she will not come there.
Malini decorates her cake and says its ready. Family hides their gifts for Imlie. Sunny brings choc for Imlie. Aparna says Dev is bringing Imlie’s favorite chocs. Sunny says he will have it as she suggests not to waste food. Dev enters with Daadi holing a big basket of chocs. Malini likes it. Daadi takes Malini aside and asks if problem between and Adi is solved. Malini says that is solved, but she feels they used to know each other well before marriage but changed after marriage. Daadi gives her moral gyaan about life and responsibilities after marriage.
Imlie sees Adi writing and says his handwriting is very beautiful. He teaches her cursive writing holding her hand. Imlie feels weird and thinks what is happening her. She smilingly looks at Adi, but stop seeing Malini watching them. Malini asks what is happening. Adi says he is teaching cursive writing to Imlie. Malini checks and laughs. He says its better than her writing. Their nok jhok starts. Imlie watches them silently. Malini asks Imlie to accompany her and asks Adi to clean Imlie’s books. Adi takes her along. Imlie gets happy seeing Adi writing her name via cursive writing. Malini calls Imlie. Imlie walks to living room and is surprised to see it decorated for her birthday. Family wishes her happy birthday. Sundar thinks today is Imlie’s birthday and he has to clean the mess after party. Family asks Imlie how is their surprise. Imlie gets emotional and blabbers continuously as usual. Family laughs. Tauji asks her to stop her drama. Aparna says Malini prepared birthday cake for her. Imlie asks chocolate cake. Malini says she wanted to, but then got another idea. She unveils motichoor laddu cake. Imlie says her amma gives her laddu on her birthday. Malini says she heard her conversation with her mother, so she prepared her laddu cake like her mother. Imlie happily hugs her and speaks emotionally. Nidhi says even they are there. Imlie hugs Nidhi, Rupal, Aparna and Taiji. Family drama continues. Imlie says she shares her laddus with her amma, seeta maiya, and goat chuari and when her amma brings her gift, nakli naani Dulari steals and sells it off and considers her illegitimate child as she doesn’t have a father. Everyone get sad hearing that. Dev turns and cries.
ripathi family is shocked to see news about Malini’s school building collapsing a dead woman wearing sari similar to Malini. Inspector shows missing persons’ list to Adi with Malini’s name in it.

Priya Singh, this is THE BEST comment for this utterly inane and irritating serial. I have never seen such an idiotic family, cranky and annoying village girl, stupid journalist and a pretty and guileless professor in love with the hero!

hello sheona🙂 i think the makers wl either show malini turning into a vamp like pakhi in GHKKPM or she wl sacrifice her husband fr dis evil n cunning so called bechari imli😒😒 i feel bad fr malini as she is so humble ,sweet n smart bt dumb also🙄🙄 she is d main victim here as this idiot imli is spoiling her life in two ways.. she is snatching her husband n father both.. feel bad fr anu also as being a victim she is shown like a vamp.. wat a crap this show is.. just like GHKKPM.. i dont watch any serial on any channel nw as they all r equally disgusting..😂😂 i only used to watch anupama bt stopped dat also.. as cant tolerate her greatness anymore🙄🙄🙄
hmm right Priya… now they’re trying to show that Imlie is “bechari”, suffered so much, had to leave her village, home, mother, had to marry…but we all know that eventually Malini will be the one who will be the biggest victim…as she’s going to lose her love; her husband for Imlie… Makers are showing totally wrong things here, when a girl nd boy have fallen in love and find happiness with each other , a second “bechari” girl comes between them and eventually turns the boy’s wife and love.😂😂… what I hate is that why they show so much pain for the first girl…what wrong she did to deserve this heartbreak…(Malini here and Pakhi in GHKPM) and then they turn the 1st girl’s character villain….totally ridiculous….according to them the ex-love of the hero can’t remain good.😂😂…that’s why I dislike such love triangle shows very much… even I am very much irritated by Anupama’s foolishness, Devi avtaar and nonstop gyaan nowadays…GHKKPM is a crap, I totally agree.😂😂
what i am waiting for is that how will malini react when she comes to know that Aditya married Imlie before marrying her..in GHKPM they showed Pakhi turned to a dumb evil jealous villain, hating and taunting Sai… here malini is shown too kind and goody-goody…so i can’t imagine her turning into an evil villain..maybe she will break down or suffer heart attack or will become psycho due to shock and will go to mental hospital…and will then return to take revenge from Imlie LOL. (if that’d be the case, I can imagine her wordings “I treated you like a sister Imlie, loved and cared for you so much, but you did this cheap act, you snatched my husband from me. WHY WHY WHY “)… hmmm… i also agree with you Priya and Devavratan that this show is stupid, Imlie is annoying, and they are promoting and justifying extra marital affairs under the cover up of “TRUE LOVE”… One thing I wanna ask from you both, do you watch any serials of starplus? I earlier noticed that both of you don’t like GHKPM as well…same with me
#Sheona #Priya Singh. Glad that you both have analyzed the weird characterizations in Imlie and GHKPM. It looks both these serials have been influenced by the Bengali original ‘Kusum Dola’ which I have scanned in Wiki; it is a story which was absolutely illogical and long drawn. I watch ‘Anupamaa’ also which to a great extent better than these characters; a group absolutely selfish and the other genuine. This is possible in reality also. What I like in these Hindi serials are the dialogues in many places which are well written, the conceptualization of the scene and the rich ambiance. I am from Tamil Nadu and Tamil serials are just terrible now and one cannot watch them at all. To cite an example ‘Anupamaa’ is remade and shown in StarVijay Tamil which is the dampest squib if it is compared with the original. Further, I feel the main players in these serials are fairly good looking and speak their dialogues. In Tamil most of the voices are dubbed by a same gang. But, I know many of the Hindi serials also fell into the illogical meandering and horror once attained popularity. At that point I stop watching it and say ‘good bye’.
malini is too humble and innocent and that so called bechari imlie is snatching someone’s love. she is just a attention seeker. malini should listen to her mother and throw that stupid and disgusting village girl.I am feeling so bad for malini. she’s beautiful kind hearted and caring she really deserves each and everything she has. I see here you people are blaming imli for all this it is not her fault the village people fussed them in to this am not saying that maline is good for adi, she is actually a very good wife to him and I like her but tell me who can understand love sometimes you feel that it’s this person you but No you don’t want to cheat but everytime you get ur heart is somewhere so I don’t blame them and I think maline mother is not happy in her marriage also so we all don’t know the pass so let’s have patience and watch. The thing that surprises me most is that we always end up commenting on the two girls rather than the man. Both in Imlie and in Ghum hai blah blah. It’s Virat’s fault that he asked Pakhi to get married to Samrat. It’s Virat’s fault that he promised something he should never have done. It’s Virat’s fault that Sai is facing so much hate from Pakhi. I agree, Pakhi has become vitriolic especially with the support of the masta masta gang. But it all comes down to Virat assuring Pakhi that he will always be there for her. Yet in almost all the episodes, hate is showered either on Pakhi or Sai.
Similarly here, It was hard for an 18 year old girl to go against the village and thus a forced marriage took place. Whatever. She had no choice there or here. I know right now she is irritating willing to stay as a maid even though she should leave the household and get a degree. But at that time, she was a married woman who did not have a home in her village anymore and who did not know anything in the city. Adithya should have told his family the truth. They would have helped him. He too was forced. Maybe Malini could not have handled the news at that time but it was his fault to keep this relation a secret. It is his fault that he is treating both women with absolutely no respect for either of them. But again, we end up blaming one of the women. Imlie haters call Malini lovers hypocritical and vice versa. Same with Pakhi and Sai.
We are all hypocrites for even in this “modern” age, we still find it easier to blame the women than the men, myself included. When I read the updates, my first thought is to blame pakhi or imlie or malini or anyone than the men. Even though we realise who’s at fault, we end up blaming the women cos of our mindset. We should really try and change that.
@dia u can check my previous comments in previous episodes also i alwys blame aditya n his father in law fr all this mess.. my only complain is wid imli’s irritating behaviour.. adi is definitely wrong by hiding things frm malini bt his intentions r never wrong.. he is clear in his thoughts n everytime he makes it clear to imli dat he loves malini only n she shud stay away frm him.. bt dis imli is so weird n irritating dat she is alwys around aditya n malini.. wenever they romance she jumps frm no where n spoil their moment,i found it really annoying n disgusting wen on their frst night she slept in front of their room near door n started sneezing.. i mean wat d crap.. nw she has started falling fr adi🙄🙄 wen she knws adi luvs malini so much n treats imli just as a responsibility she shud also respect dat n concentrate on her studies.. even today also adi wanted to send her to hostel fr her studies.. dats why i find imli more guilty dan adi.. n pls i never comment thinking boy or a girl, i just keep my honest opinion on d basis of character😊
