Aryan angrily calls Jyoti. Imlie says Jyoti would come out if she is at home, she had come to hospital and tried to kill her and Madhav. Narmada says Jyoti is meditating and praying for her safety since the morning. Imlie says its not possible and walks to Jyoti’s room with Aryan. Jyoti acts as lost in prayers. Harry asks if everything is alright. Aryan says Jyoti is in her room and asks if she saw Jyoti’s face. Imlie says she heard Jyoti’s voice who gave her injection and saw Harry. Aryan says she has changed and he made a mistake of trusting her, says Jyoti is his friend and he trusts her like Imlie trusts Madhav. Once he and Harry walk away, Imlie confronts Jyoti and asks her to stop her drama. Jyoti says she is meditating here since the morning. Imlie smiles and says Jyoti crossed her line by trying to kill her and her baby, challenges her to send her far away from her family, and takes oath to keep her away from her baby and Aryan.
Imlie returns to her room. Aryan says he was proud of her, but she broke his pride. She asks what does he mean. He says she is taking revenge from him by wrongly accusing his friend for accusing her friend, says Jyoti is busy in her prayers since she came in this house, he always trusted Imlie and she is trying to misuse his trust. Imlie emotionally speaks and says she will not let his trusted broken and will do anything to protect him. Aryan says she doesn’t have any proof against Jyoti.
Imlie says she doesn’t have any proof today, but may have it tomorrow or day after tomorrow; he shouldn’t trust her even then. She asks if Madhav is such a big criminal, then why is he in the hospital in pain instead of her; he will realize the difference between friend and an imposter if he understands this. She leaves from there and emotionally tells her baby that its parents don’t trust each other, it should not bother about anything and grow up to be an intelligent person, she will handle Aryan, etc.
Nila recalls Kairi and Imlie brutally trashing her and Kairi wearing men’s shoes. She walks to kitchen and noticing someone sleeping wearing men’s shoes and thinks she will expose the man who is enacting as Kairi. She calls Narmada. Narmada with Arpita and Gudiya walk in. Arpita gets tensed that Sundar will be exposed today. Nila says Kairi is sleeping wearing men’s shoes. Narmada asks her not to disturb Kairi. Narmada removes blanket and is stunned to see Kairi sleeping instead. Kairi starts her drama. Nila asks why is she wearing men’s shoes. Kairi says its her father’s shoes and starts her jokergiri with her cooked up story. Narmada asks Nila why she is behaving weird since morning and leaves asking her to rest. Kairi warns Nila not to mess up with her or else she will repent.
Jyoti walks to Aryan’s room with aarti. Aryan says he doesn’t know if Madhav has done wrong with Imlie when he loves his mother so much and is lying injured on the hospital bed. Jyoti in shock asks if Madhav is alive. Aryan says of course he is alive. She provokes him against Madhav that he did wrong to Imlie and asks if he will spare Madhav. Aryan says he doesn’t spare anyone and heads to meet Mahdav. Jyoti gets tensed thinking her truth will be out if Aryan meets Madhav.

Its 2022…but alas the ITV’S obsession with a perfect bland female protagonists with no life of their own other than marrying and being a baby machine, a brooding ml with no defining character traits who has a casual hobby of manhandling and gaslighting coupled with bad writing ain’t going anywhere I guess….🥴….it’s so freaking obvious that the writers are running out of story tracks…then why not just end this godamn thing once and for all…. ☻🤷♀️
The truth is ITV audience will never accept someone like sonakshi Bose or ahaana or even someone like swadeenta or kashaf…practical,no nonsense,complex, grumpy females who stand their grounds and uphold their self respect will never find a place among the trp audience…other than the youth 🤷♀️
The fact is until we want romance…this is what the makers are going to dump on faces.
When we look for stories and new content instead of romance, they will be forced to change their view according to our expectations !
Romance means there will be this marriage stuff, saas bahu drama.
Why should it always revolve around marriages again ?
A female may have independent goals and just not marry before accomplishing that.
And why should the story be as usual female centric ?
It can be male centric too. Or maybe even society centric. Or even situation centric.
Once we all stop looking for romance, the makers will reform !
I kinda agree with you though….but romance can also be written well without gaslighting infedility or toxicity and most importantly without falling into the usual clitches of itv….there was a time when serials like hasratein, mahi way and sarabahi vs sarabahi ruled the trp charts and these were primarily known for their complex and layered female characters….dunno what foced this drastic change into mediocrity…🤷♀️💀….this should change fyi
It’s so evident that ITV is losing its steam…except for some shows none of them have the skyrocketing trps like that of hasratein which once it exhibited…so in that way ITV will be foced to change soon I guess…and if not we still have ott and youtube in our hands…👍
@Kate…yeah I agree that the romance can be portrayed in a non toxic way.
But the thing is for makers….if viewers want romance means toxicity should exist. And even more surprising thing is there are very few people like us who hate toxicity. Older citizens just love this saas bahu drama and all the toxicity they show.
And again, romance revolves around life but does the life only revolve around romance ? No, right !
Nowadays, career is more centric for people in life than romance. In real world, there are increasingly more people who marry after 30. Not like in this serial, ‘Imlie’ where the girl is married off at 18. Ok. Agreed it was by force. Then what about her personal decision to marry Aryan at 19 yrs of age just due to a condition set by Aryan ? There are maybe less than 10% of people in the whole world…who might be marrying at such a tender age. Agreed that women handle both career and marriage simultaneously. But more than 70% of females who have a well pronounced career who don’t like to get stressed in marriage and thus not able to handle both simultaneously.
Let me change my words actually.
The serial’s now are not even close to one’s reality !
The story is less toxic when the story is near to reality. But no !
Romance for many now is just not more important than career. The world is just being practical now.
So serial’s can revolve around some important aspects than only romance. That’s what I actually mean.
Romance can be a part of the story but not the whole story.
But many people among us wish for watching romance onscreen because that’s not the reality. How many couples dance around like it shown in the serials ? Which husband always holds the hand of their wives and caress her ? The serials in general are just portraying things in a negative light. They are infact propagating the idea that the couple which has no frequent close proximity do not qualify to be even called a couple. Unexpressed Love is just greater than expressive romance infact. One is an emotional aspect and other a biological aspect. So biological aspect should be just limited.
Anyways… it’s my opinion about romance.. not necessary that everyone should agree to it.
Romance is important but it’s not centric. So yeah…romance can be reformed in serials. If romance is reformed…new content can come up. So either way… my views and your views point to the same thing. You are right !

OTT, movies and youtube are our escape routes from toxicity 😂.
I am a movie freak…to be more specific, I am new content freak so I just enjoy movies more. Because new contents are coming up more in movies. And some very energetic songs and dance moves 😊. But the thing I hate again is movies are male centric..i.e, hero centric 😂.
I genuinely appreciate stories which are situation centric or when story itself is more important than heroes or heroines..that is when the story itself is a hero.
That’s the reason I like Sci-Fi and crime-thrillers more than family drama type genre in movies. Well, I have some fascination for comedy genre too…so I like to watch a movie which has a mix of everything.
And there is conflict when I expect the same thing with serials 🤣😀.
I guess I need to reform here 😂.
Itv will only reform when shows like kundali kumkum bhagya, ghum and bhagya Lakshmi will register 0.0 trps….and the day this will happen I will set fire on my college desk and dance 💃
Imlie’s story should be more in the newspaper office!

See, what my comments mean may only vary if you think I am on both the side of the fandom.
So I am. Before for sometime, my comments seemed unbiased. But back then also I said the same thing…there is no much difference between Aditya and Aryan. I am somewhat more bent towards Aditya than Aryan. That’s it. Storyline is nothing amazing. They both are just being the same.
Now why does the same comment doesn’t seem unbiased, pensive, and incisive… I don’t know ?

And about the show’s romance:
I never liked the way it was portrayed since the Starting. Absolutely agreed with Shri. Romance should be a part of the story,not the whole story. I myself love the romance between the characters of the show but sometimes it just gets too much to bear! The makers of various shows sometimes in a bid to show romance between the characters, forget about the original storyline and the basic plot of the show on which it is based, leading to the show being off track and losing its pace and ultimately trp decreases because of which many good serials get off air.
One such thing happened with ‘Barrister Babu’ it used to be my favorite show. It was set in pre independent india where Girls were subjected to discrimination. The show questioned the society norms and religious practices. A young girl dared to question these norms and her husband supported her. The show lost trp and went off air because the makers showed romance between them and the show lost it’s uniqueness and originality.
Infact I suggest you to watch – Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye
It was an outstanding show. Romance was a part of the story in this serial.
It’s based on pre independence era again…and if you think you like some very high vocabulary, shayri and some good Punjabi dialect with culture… it’s the best show so far.
I liked Barrister Babu too…storyline was fantastic but don’t know why but I felt the performance of the cast as an over-reaction 😛. Means there was drag in dialogues…much more emotions.. especially Aura though she has potential. The male lead shone and later Anchal Sahu. Anchal Sahu is in this show also..kyun utthe dil. And after seeing that… I became her fan. Fantastic actor. Barrister Babu didn’t hit her potential more than Kyun Utthe. In Kyun Utthe, she was a very strong female character.
Anyways, Barrister Babu is really fantastic. It had more story than romance…like in childhood version there was bond but not the romance in real terms. So, I can say that I loved it because I hate romance 😛.
There is one more show called Kaatelal and sons. Strong females who resent society. I love Sony scripts infact ! And Kyun utthe is Sony script again !
But now I want male centric plots too ! 😅
Why should the females be called Sati Savitri always ? Can’t males be called Lord Rama ?

I have always been talking about different topics here. Not just Imlie. I am all the more against serials in general. Except ones with good storylines and performance.
@Shri. I don’t know which person you are talking about. My remarks pertain to romance, marriage, career of a woman that you are trying to explain. I wouldn’t talk about marriage because these days, even in India, the law as well as the society (at least the urbanate) permits one to be in live-in and enjoy most of the perks, pleasure, and security as available in marriage, while filtering out the disadvantages of marriage. In any case, marriage was never a mandatory aspect. But romance and career. Both are as important, with wee bit of margins for priority of one over the other as per individual choice. Career addresses your phydical and mental faculty, romance addresses the mental and ethereal sphere. I’m sure, you would be aware of place of romance in art and literature, and specially in drama, films, TVs. Must be aware of the Great Romantics of English literature- Keats, Shelly etc. If you do some formal course with NSD or FTI, they would teach you the importance and integrality of romance even in the most dry narratives and the way to artistically blend romance into it. If romance and drama is less then the narrative would look like a documentary, if it’s more, it would look like Imlie. Therefore, one must balance it in real as well as virtual world. In essence, career and romance are both a must, and must be balanced. Sorry, I sound too boring and heavy. Anyway, just forget it.

Imlie, I would have liked to have seen her come to the city, make something of herself by her own hard work and not on the backs of two men.
Romance could have been left to Aditya and Malini in the first instance.
Imlie should have been made to show that forced marriage is annulled.
Imlie forming a strong bond with her half sister.
Imlie REALLY going to college,obtaining a fulltime job, meeting someone, falling in love and perhaps the toxicity happening there!
What they showed was lives ruined by a forced marriage, quick divorces and Imlie getting remarried before ink had dried, yet again not her choice but due to Aryan and Meethi laying down conditions.
Now she has been into her dress up box, funny how all costumes are in Rathore Manor, so anyone at any given time can impersonate another, and the clothes actually fit regardless of size and heights 🤦♀️
Now the pregnancy track, is she really ensuring safety of carrying a child, first 3 months are crucial.
Don’t mean you have to be wrapped in cotton wool, but nor should the mother to be running around everywhere, getting injected and locked in freezing morgue chambers (when my mum died in India, my brothers had to put my mum in one by their own hands,I watched so talk from experience, I’m from the UK and this is not what we see in UK, we’re very sheltered whereas in India it’s very raw 😔
The way she talks to chiku (baby chick), is just so queasy sickening 🤢🤮
So you would,rather believe your friend who has just come to visit you than your wife who had experienced first hand that your so called friend tried to kill her. At the,very least even if you think your wife is mistaken you would still ask your friend to leave in the meantime until the misunderstandings are sorted out.

Aditya never believe anything that Imlie said about Malini. When he finally recognized it, it was too late and Imlie didn’t love him anymore. Aryan started as being a smart and knowledgeable guy, so much better than Adi. But now he is becoming another Adi. We had two Adityas who left the show because of how their roles became negative, stupid and frustrating. I wonder if this marriage is going to break too. But what I don’t understand is despite the comments here, despite the low ratings, the makers/writers don’t bother to improve the story. Why are Neela and Gudiya still there? How lucky are they to get paid for such insignificant roles! And the useless Hari? How long more before the devilish Jyoti is thrown out? Is Khairi really necessary? Oh well!

And you continue, even today, to misguide them with your won’t ideas. Correct your fundamentals first. Compare Malibu with Imlie. Malini is an angel wet b*t*h Imlie. Similarly, Adi is a God compared to Rascal Aryan. This fandom has made a villain into hero, and a vamp into heroine, and then they expect marvels from them. Pathetic.

I like the storyline now. I want khairi to romance Aryan and Imlie to continue ignoring aryan. At the same time I want jyoti to get closer to Aryan so he can doubt her intentions. 😂 amazing he has so o after his attentions except his wife Imlie. Can we see sundar getting a job soon and see his interviews are going? We need to see other characters showing shape.
