Imlie dressed as a businesswoman in blazer reaches office in Aryan’s car. Watchman and peon greet her good morning madam. She says she is Imlie and not madam. They say she is their boss today and take her bag. She panics and asks not to steal her bag. They say its their routine and take her bag to CEO[s cabin. Imlie murmurs that Aditya trapped her and walks into office. All staff greet her. She looks at them in surprise and says she is their colleague and sits on her desk yelling at akkadbagga Aryan. Her boss greets her and shows her cabin with Imleo, CEO of Bhaskar Times nameplate on it. She gets emotional touching her nameplate and thinks akkadbagga indebted her by fulfilling her life’s biggest dream, she will repay his debt with hard work and will the rest to Seeta Maiya.
Rupali
Imlie sits on CEO’s chair and remembers sitting on it earlier. Peon offers her laptop and coffee on boss’ order. Imlie sips coffee and spits it out asking what is this. Peon says boss drinks black coffee. She asks him to add milk and sugar in it and serve same to boss next time. She calls PGD post office and asks postman to call her amma. Peon brings milk coffee. She asks him to bring a few plant pots, candles, and god’s idol. Meethi speaks to her, and she excitedly says she become a CEO for a day and yells at Aryan for forcing the responsibility on her. Meethi says her boss cares for her and told her that he will teach Imlie how to be self-reliant. Imlie disconnects call and then calls Tripathis and informs Aparna that she is the CEO of Bhaskar Times for a day. Aparna, Radha, and Rupali rejoice hearing that and bless her. Later, Radha gets worried for Aditya and hopes he doesn’t misunderstand Imlie’s opportunity and create a drama at office.
Imlie’s boss gives her articles to be printed for tomorrow. Aditya visits office and hears colleagues discussing about an interim CEO. He thinks whom Aryan made interim CEO and sees via faded glass a woman sitting on Aryan’s seat. A colleague enters Imlie’s cabin and lies that his grandma is dead and his mother is insisting to return home soon, so he needs 2 days’ leave to console his mother. Imlie falls for his trick and asks him to write a leave letter and get it approved from her. He walks out happily. Imlie notices Aditya’s article missing and walks to him. Colleague gives leave letter to Imlie and asks her to approve it. Adi says he is mistaken as Imlie is not a CEO. Colleague asks if he didn’t check boss’ e-mail, Imlie is their interim CEO. Aditya gathers colleagues and congratulates Imlie for becoming a CEO from a intern to featured writer and now directly CEO. Colleagues clap for Imlie. Adi taunts she must have worked hard to day and night become a CEO, must have written many articles and got rejected; these are old ways of success, people climb ladder of success, but she took a lift to boss’ house, then bedroom, and then his cabin.
Imlie walks away crying. Colleagues taunt anyone can insult her easily, Aryan made a mistake by making her a CEO. She remembers her amma’s words to not bother about anyone and move on, wipes her tears, and says its not her mistake that she started crying for someone’s taunt, she can wipe her tears but not her capability. She walks back to Aditya and says he is the Bhaskar Times’ senior reporter who hasn’t submitted his article yet while others submitted long ago, so he should submitted it by 4 p.m. Aditya stands fuming.
Harish’s creditors threaten him for not pay their debt. Harish offers Radha’s jewelry and pleads to spare him. They trash him brutally. Nishant with Sundar passes by and noticing Harish being brutally assaulted rush to him and plead goons to spare his father. Goon thrash even him and ask to his father’s debt. Harish pleads to spare his son as he has cancer. Goon says his son will die after paying his father’s debt. Nishant stands shocked while Harish explains why he took loan.
Precap: Aditya submits his resignation letter to Imlie, returns home, and informs family that he left his job. Harish informs family that they lost their house and all their savings.
