Star Plus’ popular show Imlie continues to garner big numbers. The show recently completed a year of runtime and the fans seem to be as excited as the makers of the show. While few actors joined the team late depending on their characters, some are with the show since its beginning.
One of those is actor Arham Abbasi, who is essaying the role of Nishant in the show. Arham also completed one year with the show in November 2021. The actor talked about his journey with the show in an interview with ETimes TV.
He shared, “This character has been the most distinguished one of all the roles I have played so far. With such amazing co-stars and team, this one year has been a phenomenal experience for me with many more milestones to achieve in the upcoming episodes as the story unfolds into new and exciting turns. When I started the show, my track began with Nishant’s return to India while he was suffering from Leukemia. Later, Nishant became a part of multiple plot lines including his own wedding and many more. There have been so many ups and downs in the show in this one year. I have made amazing friendships for life here as everyone is so supportive and we all are just like a real family.”
When asked who is he closest with on the sets, he said, “All of my co-stars are amazing, it’s a very tough choice to name only a single one. I share an amazing bond with Gaurav Mukesh as I have worked with him earlier as well.”
Imlie recently witnessed the leading man Gashmeer Mahajani quit the show. Actor Manasvi Vashisht replaced him as the new Aditya.
