Longtime no see eh? Well I was in no mood to type but yesterday had an urge to type something so I am going to type a small update for the ones who are waiting for me
“Well guys I have been promoted to homicide so yeah, CHEERS!” said shreya as the clinked their glasses.
“Let’s hope for a better career ahead shall we,” said Purab from the back.
“Thanks puru,” said shreya with delight on her face.
“You should keep in mind about the blood and body parts you’re going to come across,” said Rahul sarcastically.
“f**k off Rahul,” said shreya
The filthy mouth she was.
Long discussions were going on, people talking about their lives, their future and what to do.
After some time people started to leave, giving their regards to shreya, congratulating her on her promotion. Everyone left the apartment leaving her and abhi alone.
After sending off the last guest shreya walked in and sat beside abhi who was sitting with a bottle of scotch.
“so bro, it’s you and me,” said shreya.
“it had to be you and I shre, come one we live together in this apartment,” said abhi
The fact that most of her time shreya wasn’t at home and when she was she was sleeping in her room like a cow.
“for god sake don’t be serious for some time,” she said.
“well congratulations,” said abhi.
“thanks, but this wouldn’t be possible without you,” said shreya.
“Dad would be proud of you,” he said.
“he sure would be,” she said as she walked off to her room, her past memories coming back to her.
Abhi looked around and saw shreya leave, He too got nostalgic.
When I was only 8, I made my first kill, a dog. From that day onwards the urge in me to kill grew more and more. My father actually Ronit discovered this and thought to pave my path, to make me kill according to his code. He started to take time off his duty to come and train me. He started to train me too kill by animals. Which vein to cut to make it painful, which on to cut to make the death sudden, which spot to hit, how to prospect about the target and whom to kill. We used to go hunting together. You could say it was a time in which we could kinda bond in a way or so
Shreya went inside and lay on her bed, her mind floating through the memories of her past
Ever since abhi came I got a big brother. i was so happy of the fact that now I had a big bro. But abhi was quite reserved. He would spend hours alone in the garden or outside. I used to be all alone as mum was busy in her chores and dad was on duty. I had no one. But then one day dad started to spend more time with abhi, taking time off to be with him. In her teens, one day they were going hunting, dad had given abhi a real revolver which was unbelievable and so I asked abhi to show it to me.
“ abhi show it to me,” said shreya
“dad said not to,”said abhi
“show it abhi,” she said sternly
She just snatched it away and ran outside. She felt powerful with the gun in her hand. she aimed with around and was about to fire when ronit came from behind and snatched it from her.
“I told you this is not childs play,” said ronit
“but dad you gave it to abhi,” said shreya in her defense.
“how did she get this,” said ronit sternly.
“I tried to stop her but she just snatched it from me,” SAID ABHI
“shreya this gun in off-limits, I never want to see you with a gun in hand, you get that,” he said loudly and sternly while shreya nodded her head up and down.
“let’s go abhi,” he said and they moved out.
On that day and numerous number of time dad had given him stuff which I never got, he gave him more time, and being her daughter well a human being even I felt jealous, its human nature. The fact still saddened me and when he said that dad would be proud it did ring a bell, bringing back the sadness and happiness of the fact that he would be proud
Abhi’s POV
Well after all the events and dad’s death, me and shreya mended ways with each other, she too was like me but the fact not completely me, ronit had wanted to keep her away from this. He had once told me that he didn’t want to come into this world but if she ever did come and become an officer he would be really proud of what his blood would have achieved.
Now they were like sidekicks. Shreya was giving her all to this relationship but abhi had kept things from her. Abhi wanted to keep her safe and protect her at any cost. Shreya to want to be with her brother although she had a big mouth and she was a big b*t*h but still.
On the other side
She was walking through the market, pacing herself , constantly looking at the back. A man was following her. She kept on moving faster and faster.
Well that’s it. Guys I am giving two updates and updating this by using the college wifi as I am having internet problem at home. Really sorry SB( you know yourself) for not being able to be online, you wrap up the update and I’ll check. The fact that god has paved way for me to take a break by no internet at times but still when I am in the mood I will update
