Indira Krishnan talks about her role as Vedika in Saavi Ki Savari; says, “My role has uniqueness and positivity”
Actress Indira Krishnan who is currently essaying the role of Vedika in TV show Saavi Ki Savari feels that today’s mothers can easily relate to her character.
During a recent interview, the actress talked about it and shared, “I’m essaying the role of Vedika in the show, who happens to be the mother of male protagonist Nityam (Farman Haider). I’m enjoying my part as the character is very well written and meets the individuality of how mothers are actually in the current world. My relationship with everyone in the household is beautifully described. So, I’m very much happy playing it. An artist always wants to play such raw characters that the viewers can easily relate to and appreciate. There is no overloaded extra drama with my role and that is what I’m loving the most.”
Indira who is also known for featuring in shows like Yeh Hai Chahatein, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, and Afsar Bitiya among others always looks for roles that can turn out to be an inspiration for the society.
She added, “As an actress, I feel playing roles that can also benefit society is more important. I feel television as a medium has a great influence over the majority of households. Looking at the family drama, many lives are developing. I feel my role in the show has that uniqueness and positivity. She is someone who is very strong, emotional, and level-headed. Her equation with her son and daughter-in-law is genuine. I personally enjoy such roles.”
On the professional front, Indira is also known for appearing in Bollywood movies like Hey Bro, and Tere Naam among others.
