Recap: sanchi and sunny get to know about the crisis at home. Jaya asks sanchi to marry Kabir to save their business.
Gayatri (on call) : that’s a great news. If you won’t mind, let me handle all the arrangements. And we don’t want much publicity. Just a simple function with very little guests.
She hangs the call and and again smiles (it’s hard to say if her smile is wicked or genuine. She is a bit creepy)
She calls in her assistant
Gayatri: James, I want you to overlook all the arrangements. And be careful, no media. Also, let’s not give out the details till the date.
Gayatri drops by kabirs office.
Kabir: ma? What brings you here.
He gets up and let’s gayatri sit in his chair.
Gayatri: I am thinking of fixing your marriage for the 16th of this month. I just wanted to confirm with you. I want you to cancel all your meetings and be free next week.
Kabir: I’ll talk with miss Fernandez to adjust my schedule
Gayatri: are you sure you don’t want a big function
Kabir: no ma, let’s keep it simple.
Gayatri: I’ve sent you sanchi’s number. You should meet.

Kabir: sorry ma.
Gayatri: take her out for a coffee. You both can get to know each other.

Gayatri: I’ll get going then. And please Kabir, it’s your marriage. So please try to be like a normal groom. And don’t forget about your sherwani fitting. Ask Emma to arrange a meeting with the designer asap.
Miss Fernandez enters after gayatri leaves.
Emma: I have set an appointment with your designer. We need to confirm with sanchi also. And today evening your schedule isn’t much packed. Should I reserve a table for you two for this evening
Kabir: let it be. I’ll meet her on our wedding. You can leave.
Miss Fernandez turns to go, bit then stops

He sits close to her and holds her closer sideways

Jenny just rests her head on his shoulder
Jenny: Kabir..
Kabir: mhh?
Jenny: I wish we could always be close like this. I don’t want anything more from life. Just your shoulder to lean on.
Kabir: if you only keep leaning, then how will I have kids?
Jenny hits him: Kabir…!!!
Kabir: ok, I’ll always lend you my shoulder. I have been lending it for the past five years. So fifty more years isn’t a big deal.
Jenny is silent. Kabir notices tears in her eyes.

Meanwhile our sanchi is in her worst mood ever, throwing tantrums at Isha and pragya.
Though she agreed for the marriage, she is still confused over her decision.
Isha and pragya try cheering her. They discuss about the wedding dress
Pragya: just few days and so many things to buy. I think I’ll go crazy
Isha: we need to go to the parlour also. There are lots to do
Sanchi: I don’t want to do anything
Ishagya: come on sanchi. It’s your wedding. You need to look the best. Whether you like it or not
Pragya: you agreed for marriage. So go on with it. Accept it happily

Ishagya drags sanchi with them. They stop for coffee and fuss over the pastry to select. Sanchi acts to be happy. But her smile is melonchaly.

Kabir tries on his sherwani. There is no excitement on his side also. He just do things mechanically.

Sanchi and friends get out of their car and goes to meet the designer. While sanchi and ishagya enter through one door, Kabir and miss Fernandez exit through the other on the side. It’s a glass door. Sanchi turns once she is inside. She sees kabirs back but doesn’t make much of it. Same goes with Kabir.

The usually happy and childish sanchi is missing during dinner. She doesn’t bother to even pick her usual fight with sunny. Jaya looks at Sunil sadly. Sanchi silently eats her dinner. Even Kabir is more than usually silent during his dinner.

sanchi’s mother shows her jewellery and other things. Jaya tries them on sanchi, but sanchi leaves angrily. Sunny tries to talk with her but she closes the door on his face

She sits thinking on her bed. She takes out her diary again and goes through her dreams. On the other side Kabir also thinks sitting in his study. The table lamp goes on and off.

And now time skips to the wedding.
Sanchi was looking nothing less than out of a fairy tale. She was looking heavenly in a pale pink lehenga with pearl and bead embroidery. She wore matching pearl ornaments and uncut diamond.
She was super tensed. Ishagya were trying their best to de-stress her, but nothing seemed to worked. Someone informed about the arrival of the groom, and asked her to stay ready to come down when called. Both her friends try to calm sanchi by rubbing her hands.
Sanchi: I need a shot of vodka
Ishagya: what???
Isha: ok , calm down sanchi. It’s ok
Pragya: will whiskey do?
Isha smacks her: shut up. It’s just because she is tensed
Sanchi: should I run away
Pragya whispers to Isha: should we help her

Isha: look sanchi. It’s just going to be fine. Every girl goes through this phase. You are just scared because you are going to start a new life. Sanchi’s eyes have tears in them. She tries hard not to cry. There is no smile on her face. She robotically does all the rasams. Next to her sits kabir with a serious khadoos face.

Sanchi extends her hand over the hawan kund. The pandit keeps putting things on her hand and she robotically puts them to the hawan. The pandit finishes this rasam but her hand is still stretched, and she is lost. Her hand drips down to the fire bit a strong palm supports it under. She looks to see kabir with a serious expression, not looking at her.

They do the varmala. Sanchi looks up for the first time to see kabir. And he still has the same khadoos expression. As they take rounds, Sanchi looks on with a confused expression as she follows kabir

Sanchi throws behind the grains. Jaya collects them with tears. She hugs ishagya and cry. They both kiss her on the cheeks. She hugs Sunil and cries. Sunny comes and gives her a gift. She goes to Jaya. Jaya comes forward to hug her, but she moves backwards. Jaya just blesses her. Sanchi sits in the car with Kabir. Jaya and gayatri hug and take leave.

Sanchi is still in cry mode. Kabir hands over a kerchief without looking at her. Sanchi wipes her tears and looks at him sideways.

Sanchi and Kabir enter the malhotra mansion. Gayatri welcomes her by hugging her. She asks some old woman in the family to do her arti..she asks the servant to show sanchi her room. Sanchi comes to the room and looks around. She sits on the bed and waits for Kabir….

Now that the plot is set and the characters are in place, it’s time for some fireworks. And I promise it’s going to be areally unexpected episode next week for you guys. From next episode onwards our sweet couple’s sweet love story will begin. Happy waiting and a happy weekend. Love you guys???
