Inspector Tasha aka Vaishnavi Dhanraj from CID opens up about her marriage plans, says, ‘chahiye hota hai yaar companion’

C.I.D fame Vaishnavi Dhanraj, who is known to essay the role of Inspector Tash is 32 now and after a failed marriage is still optimistic about the institution. Vaishnavi has a very positive approach towards life and in a recent interview with ETimes TV, she opened up about how she dealt with the lowest phases of her life, and more.

When asked about her belief in the institution of marriage and old-school love. Vaishnavi exclaimed, “That’s the problem, I still believe in it. The way things are around us, I feel ‘Jaane kahan gaye vo din’ (sings) like that old-school romance where you just look at each other and that’s love and you don’t have any expectations or conditions, it’s pure and you don’t have to worry about ‘yeh kis se baat kar raha hoga, ye kahan gaya hoga, ye gaali de dega’ (Who he must be talking to? Where he must have gone or what if he just abuses me?) That purity, that innocence of being in love, I totally still believe in it. I don’t know when will God send anyone and I believe in the organisation of marriage because ‘chahiye hota hai yaar companion’ (we need a companion).”

Talking about people who claims to be doing fine without a partner, Vaishnavi expressed, “How much ever you deny the fact that ‘I am very independent and this and that,’ ultimately, you are a human. You can’t deny the fact that you are a human and if you have been born as a human then might as well live as a human. Enjoy all the perks of being a human being and I think marriage is one of them. I have seen my papa mummy, they had so much love between them. Even if they stayed away for 4-5 days, their calls would be never-ending and cute. This is love and you just need that kind of love.”

Talking further about the things she has learned from her past, Vaishnavi said, “When I look back and see that I made mistakes but I also realize that I was courageous enough to make those mistakes and just follow my heart because today where I am, I am really very happy that I can be thankful for the mistakes I made. I have learned so much wisdom, so much inner peace, and happiness,” concluded Vaishnavi.
