Rani and Pari are talking about previous night. Khushi comes and asks Pari where she went late night yesterday. She says to check patient. She leaves. Khushi shows concern for Pari as she feels Pari is not as strong as she shows. Kusum comes and tells Rani to clean house for Diwali. Khushi says she wants to do Rangoli. They decide to first clean house and then do Rangoli.
Prakash informs Kusum and his parents he can’t afford to buy new clothes this Diwali. Dadu says it’s not necessary to have new clothes every Diwali. They can use clothes that they bought for Yogi’s wedding. Prakash says neighbors will make their fun then. Dadu says not to think about others. They have such a beautiful family. They can celebrate Diwali happily regardless new clothes or no. Pari watches all this.
Later, when a patient asks for one day discharge to celebrate Diwali. She understands importance of festival and feels Prakash would be in same situation. She says Prakash and his family will celebrate Diwali as they have been for past years.
Yogi comes to sell his wedding sherwani, so he could get some money to buy new clothes for everyone. Kusum comes and says he grown up so big that he decided to sell his sherwani on his own? She tells him his father bought that by taking debt because he loves him a lot and he’s selling his love? Yogi realizes his mistake and doesn’t sell it.
Rani, Nisha, Khushi are making rangoli. Everyone is happy. Khushi asks Kusum for diyas, but she says she didn’t buy as they were too expensive. They can use last year’s. Khushi gets upset. Prakash gives her money to get new and she gets happy. Kabir brings new clothes for everyone. Prakash refuses at first, but after everyone insists, he accepts the gift. He sees price tag and gets shocked. He tells Kabir to return that and bring a cheaper one. With saved money, he can get firecrackers. Just then Pari comes with firecrackers. Prakash is not pleased and he doesn’t want free charity. He says rudely that Kabir brought new clothes, Pari brought firecrackers, now who should he asks to bring sweets? Kabir feels bad and says if it’s like that, then he won’t stay in his house either.
