CHAPTER 35
Ranveer’s room
Karthik tells him what Madhu said to him… Ranveer is shocked to hear it and sits on his bed holding his head in tensed… Karthik calms him…
Ranveer: What is this, Karthik?? Why she has to suffer?? She didn’t remember the accident… She only knows that she did the accident after we told her… She already feeling guilty for causing a girl’s death and Swetlana’s abortion… I don’t know what will happen if she knows that girl was Omkara’s wife, Gauri and she was pregnant as well…
Karthik: Be relax, Ranveer… I’m very much sure that Ishu maa didn’t do the accident… Something else happened that day… See, I’m here with you… We will together find the truth after the function… Please don’t stress yourself… You have to be strong for our family…
Ranveer: (nods and calms himself) By the way, how you get to know about this??
Karthik: Madhu told me just now…
Ranveer: (raised his eyebrow) You don’t even like her… Then, how come you talk with her?? And she shared with you about this… (Looks at him in confused)
Karthik tells him what happened before Madhu telling him about this…
Ranveer: (with concern) Is she fine now?? Or still… (Stops by Karthik)
Karthik: She is fine now, Ranveer… You don’t have to worry about her…
Ranveer: How I can’t worry for her?? After my sister, Nisha’s death, I got a reason to live through Madhu and Ishu only… Ishu is sold by her own father when she was small… Luckily, our family was there for her that time… She is the apple of the eye for them… But, Madhu’s situation is different… She is abandoned by her own family who loved her once just because of their so called caste, lineage and society… Poor girl… How much she has suffered missing her family… That is why I pay more attention towards Madhu and scold you whenever you teased her…
Karthik: Hey, I know, yaar… In fact, I too felt bad for her… I’m jealous with her closeness with Ishu maa… But, it doesn’t mean that I don’t like her… I teased her because I don’t want her to feel alone… I thought to stop if she scolds me back, but she didn’t say anything… So, I continue teasing her…
Ranveer: (thinks) How she will scold you, duffer??? She is crazily in love with you… You are the one not realising it…
Karthik: But, she is a nice girl… (Ranveer looks at him in surprised) She is ready to sacrifice her life for Ishu maa… I felt very bad when she cried just now… Her touch (looks at his hand and recalls her holding his hand) is having a magic that make my heart…. (Stops realising what he is saying…) I’m having some work to do… I’ll see you later… (Leaves from there..)
Ranveer: (smiles looking at Karthik) Yesss!!! He started to fall for Madhu… Oberoi Mansion is having a love magic… Whoever comes here are falling in love… Me, Ishu and now Karthik…
OBEROI MANSION
Few days later…..
Swetlana is sitting in worry thinking about something… Omkara just came from outside and see her… He feels something is disturbing her and goes towards her… Swetlana realised his presence and looks at him… She smiles sadly at him…
Om: What happened, Swetlana?? You are looking worried…
Swet: (thinks a while) I’m worried about Ishu…
Om: What’s wrong with her??
Swet: (hesitates to tell) Actually, it’s Dev’s death day tomorrow… (Omkara is shocked) Usually, she will lock herself in her room and cry her heart out… She will not even eat that day… I… (Stops her)
Om: You are worried that she will do the same this year… Don’t worry… This year she is not going to do that…
Swet: How?? What are you going to do??
Om: I’ll tell you but I need your permission for that…
Swet: I don’t have any objection if my Ishu is happy…
Om: (smiles) Ok… I have a plan… (Tells her something)
Swet: But, Omkara, this will not make her to forget about the day…
Om: Swetlana, this is not to make her to forget his death day… Of course she will remember it… This is to divert her mind from it… His death affected her a lot… I too can’t get Gauri’s death from my heart even after these years… What this poor girl can do??
Swet: I understand that, Omkara but… (Cuts by Omkara)
Om: You don’t worry… I’ll take care of it… Now, you take rest… I’ll go and see her first… (Swetlana nods… Omkara leaves from there)
IshMa’s room
IshPriMa are discussing about the decorations… Omkara comes there… They look at him…
Prinku: Bhaiya, you here?? Do you need anything??
Om: Yeah… I need to talk with Ishana for a while…
Madhu: Sure, sir… (PriMa get up to leave)
Om: Both of you can stay here… It’s just for a while… (They sit back)
Ishu: Yes, Mr Omkara?? Anything I can help??
Om: (nods) Actually, there will be an art exhibition at my art gallery… I need an event planner to organize the exhibition… I feel you will be the best option… If you don’t mind, will you…??
Ishu: (chuckles) You don’t have to ask me… You can just tell me to organize the event… Besides, I can’t say no to you… (Omkara smiles hearing her answer… PriMa look at them in awe…)
Om: So, tomorrow you will be following me to the art gallery… You can get some ideas if you see the place first…
Ishu: (shocked) Tomorrow?? Can’t we go any other day??
Om: Actually, I’ll be closing the art gallery for few days for Prinku’s functions… That’s why I want to take you tomorrow… (Makes a hurt face) If you are busy, then it’s ok… (Turns to leave… Ishana feels bad…)
Ishu: I’ll come with you tomorrow…
Om: (turns towards her) Sure?? (Ishana nods) Good… I’ll take you tomorrow morning… (Omkara leaves from there)
Ishu: (thinks) Why I can’t say no to him?? Tomorrow is Dev’s death day… I will not go out on that day… But, I can’t refuse him… I can’t see him hurt… Why he is affecting me a lot?? What is happening with me??
PriMa just look at her in confuse and continue with their discussion… After a while, Ishana joins them…
Next day
Shivaay is in tension and keep on trying to call someone but failed… Annika is calming him…
Swet: (goes to Shivaay) Why are you worrying, Shivaay?? Nothing will happen…
Shivaay: How I can relax?? They went out this morning… It’s already late night now… Still they didn’t come back yet…
Swet: (look at the clock) But, it still not late night yet… There are few hours more to go…
Shivaay: (looks at her in surprise) I’m surprised… You used to get tensed easily if your loved ones come late… But, you are calm now… How??
Swet: Why should I worry if my loved one with a safe person?? (Shivaay again surprised with her answer)
Savitri: She is right, beta… You don’t worry… They will come back soon…
Annika: I was saying that too, daadima… But, this Shivaay is quite sensitive if it comes to his brothers…
Swet: I know that, Annika… (Imitates Shivaay) The great wall of Shivaay Singh Oberoi… Any problem need to face him first before his family… But, Shivaay, please stop worrying now… They must be on the way now…
RuMya and RanPriMa come there as well… They chuckle looking at Shivaay…
Shivaay: (looks at them) Why you all are laughing?? Anything funny??
Rudra: No, bhaiya… You are reacting like you are worrying for two small kids that didn’t return home yet…
Shivaay: Hey!! My brothers and sisters are kids for me… Ranveer, Madhu, you both are laughing too?? You don’t worry about your Ishana??
Ranveer: Why should we worry?? She is with Omkara only… So, no need to worry… (RanMa have a high five)
Shivaay: (sighs) All are giving same answer…
Madhu: Sir, nothing bad happened to them… They must be on the way… You know something?? I can sense if Ishu is in danger… My…. (about to say something but stops holding her chest) Ishu is here already… (Smiles)
All look at her in confused… She turns towards the main door… All follow her gaze and see Ishkara walking inside…
Shivaay goes towards Omkara and hugs him… Savitri and Swetlana do the same with Ishana…
Shivaay: (breaks the hug) Is everything fine?? Why you guys are late??
Om: Yeah… Everything is fine… We stucked somewhere due to heavy rain… (Shivaay is about to say something) I’m very tired, Shivaay… I want to have some rest…
Shivaay: (feels strange with Omkara’s behavior) Sure… You can go… We’ll talk tomorrow… (Omkara nods and leave to his room… All are looking at him in confuse…)
Rudra: What’s wrong with him??
Savitri: He must be very tired… Let him have some rest… Ishu, you too go… Have a shower and sleep… (Ishana just nods silently and goes to her room… Savitri too leaves from there leaving the youngsters…)
Shivaay: What’s wrong with both of them?? They are behaving differently…
Annika: I too noticed that… They were fine this morning… What happened now??
Madhu: Something must have happened… That’s why they are behaving like this…
Shivaay: I’ll try to talk with him…
Swet: No, Shivaay… I mean not now… Let them relax first… Something must have happened like Madhu said… That’s why they couldn’t face each other… He might feel embarrassed if you asked him… So, let him to relax first… Besides, they might distance themselves from each other if we asked about it… It’s better if we don’t ask now…
Soumya: I think she is right… Our plan will be flop if that happens…
Swet: (confused) Plan!?? What plan??
Annika: (tries to cover) Priyanka’s birthday plan and the engagement… That is what Soumya meant… Right, Soumya?? (Soumya nods quickly)
Swet: (smiles teasingly) Right… Right… I believe you… Continue with your plans… In fact, I can help you in the plan as well… (All smiles at her… She leaves from there…)
Shivaay: Ranveer, does she knows that we want to unite Ishkara??
Ranveer: Maybe she could feel what we feel towards Ishkara…
Madhu: Right… Bhabhi feels that both of them deserve happiness in their life… She could feel that we are planning to unite them… But, she is not showing it…
Annika: So, that means none of us are disagreeing with their relationship??
Rudra: Only that Ashok having problem…
Shivaay: Who cares about him?? It’s better for him to not to create any problem… But, we need ArSid, RaDuKa and NiTiMi to agree as well…
Madhu: And Karthik as well… (Karthika look at her in surprise while PriVeer smile to each other…)
Rudra: Karthik?? Who is that??
Ranveer: Do you still remember that Ishu and NiTiMi used to tell you that another person has a strange connection with Ishu?? (Rudra nods) Karthik is that person… But, Madhu, I don’t think he will agree with this…
Madhu: No, bhaiya… He will definitely agree with this… In fact, he will be the first one to be happy if he get to know about this… Ishu’s happiness is the only thing that he wants to see in his life… (Karthika looks at her with tear filled eyes… Ranveer signs her through his eyes telling him to understand Madhu… Karthika just blinks her eyes…)
Rudra: Karthik… Interesting… I want to meet him…
Ranveer: You will meet him at the right time…
Annika: You can invite him for your engagement…
Ranveer: (looks at Karthika) He is quite busy now… I’m not sure he can be here for the engagement…
Shivaay: Ok… How about ArSid and NiTiMi?? They are coming right??
Ranveer: I hope they come… If not, Swetlana will kill me… I promised her that they will come for the functions…
Madhu: They will come, bhaiya… After all, it’s their brother’s engagement…
Annika: Exactly… Let’s continue with our work… There are a lot more to do…
Next day
All are busy with the preparations of the double functions… The works been split among them… AniSou are handling the food catering, IshMa are handling the decorations and other tough works are handled by the guys… Priyanka is not given any work because it’s her function… They don’t want her to stress herself for her functions… She only needs to practice the tongue twisters that given by Ishana with Karthika’s help… All of them are involved with their works and unaware of three pairs of legs entering Oberoi Mansion… Each of them go and stand behind IshRanMa… PriKar come to the living room and surprised to see them… They just keep quiet watching at them… Ishana takes a basket which contains rose petals for the decorations and walks from there… She still doesn’t realise someone’s presence behind her who is following her from behind… She just walks looking at the petals…
PriKar chuckle and have a high five… Three of them sign through their eyes to each other… They screamed ‘aaaahhh’ at IshRanMa’s ears which shock all of them including ShivIka and RuMya… Ishana who is holding the basket of petals throw it on the air closing her ears and almost fell down… But, a pair of arms stops her from falling by holding her waist and it’s none other than Omkara… Omkara who was coming out from his room is surprised to see the person behind Ishana and signs Omkara to keep quiet… Omkara agrees and just looks at the scene… But, he never expect Ishana will get scared this much… He remembers something and quickly runs to her and holds her… Ishana looks at Omkara who is holding her safely… The rose petals are falling on their heads while the basket falls on the person’s head…
RanMa: (surprised) You!!!???
Person: Yes!! We!!!
Shivaay: (walks towards them) You scare us… It’s very good to see you here… Welcome, Raghav, Dushyanth and Kar… But, where is Karan??
Karan: I’m here… (They turn towards the voice and laugh looking at his state where his head covered with basket… They noticed Ishkara’s position too…)
Rudra: (whispers) They start their romance everywhere and don’t even care about anything…
Soumya: Shut up, Rudra!!
Rudra: It’s my brothers dialogue… You can’t steal it…
Soumya: I’m saying it on behalf of them…
Madhu walks towards Karan and take the basket from his head… She sees some petals are still left in the basket… She takes them and throws it on Ishkara… All of them show thumbs up to her… IshKara realised their position and stands properly… Ishana looks at RaDuKa…
Ishu: (smiles and runs towards RaDuKa) Aththans!!! (Hugs them) I missed you all…
RaDuKa: (hugs her back) We missed you too… (Break the hug and kisses her forehead… Others just smile looking at them…)
Ranveer: You all come suddenly without informing us…
Raghav: Just want to give you all surprise… So, how was it??
Madhu: So scary!!! You gave us shock by screaming like that… (Pouts)
Dush: Haaww!! Our angel get scared… (Hugs her) Ok… We won’t scream like this again…
Karan: We will scream in different way to scare you… (Madhu looks surprisingly while others laugh)
Raghav: Where is didi and daadima??
Ishu: Daadima is in her room… I don’t know about anni…
Om: She is with my mom and choti ma at the poolside…
Dush: Good… Guys, let’s go and surprise her… (They agree and walk towards the poolside… They see Swetlana is sitting on the sofa with JhaNky beside her… JhaNky are discussing about the jeweleries they want to buy for Priyanka’s functions… Swetlana listening to them but her mind is not there and keep on thinking of something… JhaNky noticed that and decide to discuss later… They get up from the sofa and see the youngsters… They walk towards them…
Jhanvi: When did you all came?? No one said anything about this…
Karan: We just came, aunty… We thought of giving surprise… So, we didn’t say to anyone…
Pinky: It’s goods you alls came… Your sister is worries a lots… Don’t knows what’s wrongs…
Raghav: Don’t worry, aunty… We know what to do… You just wait and watch… (Looks at DuKa) Come on, guys…
RaDuKa go and sit beside Swetlana… Swetlana still doesn’t realise their presence and lost in her thoughts… RaDuKa give a teasing smile to each other and sign through their eyes… Others are confused with them and just looking at what they are going to do…
Raghav: (looking at Swetlana) Missing your husband??? (Swetlana nods her head)
Karan: Should I call him??
Swet: (without realising) Yes… Yes… Call him… (They could feel excitement in her voice)
Dush: Ok… We will call him now…
Swet: (come back from her thoughts and bit her tongue realising what she said) No… I… I… (Doesn’t know what to say… She looks at IshMa and the Oberois who are looking at her in surprise… She turns away feeling embarrassed… IshMa and RanKa chuckle looking at her…)
Pinky: So, this is the matters?? Missings your husband?? (Swetlana looks down feeling shy while others laugh at her… She turns and looks at RaDuKa)
Swet: When did you all came??
RaDuKa: Just only, Didi…
Jhanvi: You all must be tired… Go and rest first…
Raghav: Ok, aunty… But, we want to meet daadima first…
Jhanvi:(nods) She is in her room… (RaDuKa leave from there… While others continue their work…)
Precap: PriRanRaDuKaKar are having secret discussion… Karthika teases Madhu… Ranveer has a plan… Karan and Karthik to start the search… IshRaDuKa tell about their love stories…
