CHAPTER 48

RAICHAND MANSION

The Raichands and the Oberois reached there… Arjun goes and takes the wheel chair while Ishana is sitting inside the car… Others are talking among themselves except Omkara who is continuously looking at Ishana… Ishana just smiles at him… He walks towards her and lifts her in his arms much to everyone’s surprise including Ishana… Arjun smiles looking at them and folds back the wheel chair… They walk towards the door but stops by Karthika who is holding ‘aarthi’ plate…
Karthika: You came after so much of struggle with your life… So, you can’t enter just like that… We have to chase all the evils eyes from you… Come on, girls… Take ‘aarthi’ for our beloved angel…
Ishu: (smiles and pats her cheek) So sweet… Thank you, Karthika… (SwetMaNiTiMi go and take ‘aarthi’ for Ishana)
Omkara enters the house with Ishana in his arms… Others follow them from behind…
Annika: It’s look like he is bringing his bride inside the house…
Soumya: Yes, bhabhi… But, only the house is different… It’s supposed to happen at Oberoi Mansion… (AniSou chuckle)

Prinku: Bhabhi, this is not the first time they are entering like this… (AniSou looks at her questioningly… She told them about the night after the ‘sindoor’ incident…)
Annika: O bete ki!! So this is the second time!!
Soumya: Bhabhi, I think the third one will happen at Oberoi Mansion… (They laugh and have a high five… Shivaay signs them to keep quiet..) Bhagad billa is staring at us… We will continue later… (They keep quiet and just walk following from behind)
Sid: (towards Karthika) So, that’s why you didn’t go to the hospital and didn’t follow us to Oberoi Mansion?? To prepare this ‘aarthi’ plate for Ishu… (Karthika just smiles) Thank you…
Karthika: Anything for this family… (Siddharth just smiles)

Ishana’s Room
Omkara places Ishana carefully on the bed and made her sits properly…
Ishu: (smiles) Thank you…
Om: (smiles back) Don’t mention it… (Holds her hand)
Rudra: (towards Shivaay) See!! He is starting his romance again… (Shivaay slaps his head)
All chatted for a while… NiTiMiMa serve drinks to everyone… Arjun feeds porridge to Ishana which she had forcefully seeing Omkara there… Omkara just smiles looking at her reaction… Shivaay receives a call and he goes to answer it… He comes back after a while…
Shivaay: OmRu, we have to leave now… Khanna called me… (OmRu understand what he is trying to say and nod their heads)

Annika: Why, Shivaay?? Any problem??
Shivaay: No, Annika… I thought to increase our security at Oberoi Mansion… That’s why I’m asking them to come… (Towards AniSouPri) Three of you go back to Oberoi Mansion… I and OmRu need to go to office first… (AniSouPri nod) So, shall we?? (Looking at OmRu… They nod their heads… Shivaay signs Siddharth as well and he nods understanding him…)
Om: You all go first… I’ll come in a while… (They look at Ishana and smile looking at each other…)
Shivaay: (looks at Ishana) Take care, Ishana… Have a good rest… Will see you later… (Ishana smiles and Shivaay leaves from the room)
Rudra: (goes to Ishana) Take care, bhabhi… I’ll come and see you later… (Hugs her… Ishana nods and pats his cheek…)

AniSouPri too hug Ishana asking her to take care and leave from the room… The Raichands too follow them leaving IshKara… Omkara goes and sit beside her…
Om: (hugs her) I’ll come later… Have your food and medicines properly… (Breaks the hug) Don’t be stubborn… Hmm?? (Cups her cheek… Ishana just nods her head… Omkara kisses her forehead and move to go but Ishana holds his hand… Omkara looks at her…)
Ishu: I want to ask you something but not now… I hope you can give the answer… Will you?? (Omkara could understand what she wanted to ask)
Om: We will talk later… Take care… (Tries to get up but again she holds his hand… He looks at her… She brings him closer and kisses his forehead… Omkara smiles and pats her cheek… He leaves from there…)

RanRaDuKa are driving back to Raichand Mansion… Karan is driving while others are sitting and think something…
Raghav: Ranveer, why are you keeping silent only?? You didn’t say anything when we talked with the doctor just now…

Ranveer: I’m thinking what Madhu said last night and what the doctor said just now…
Dush: You mean that maybe Ashok is the one done the accident??
Ranveer: Maybe but still I’m confused… Why he killed Gauri instead of Ishu?? Or like Madhu said he supposed to hit Ishu but Gauri came in between to save her?? If like that means, Ishu still become the reason for Gauri’s death indirectly… This can create problem in IshKara’s relationship… (RaDuKa are shocked)

Karan: (stops the car aside and in anger) That is what we were saying since then… Again we are hurting our Ishu… We told that we can’t let them getting closer… She can get hurt again… She is deeply in love with him now… She can’t stand if Omkara hates her… (RaDu calm him)
Ranveer: Relax, Karan!! It’s just my assumption… Something is still missing there… Let’s say if Ashok is the one hit Gauri, what Gauri was doing there at the deserted road?? Did Ashok kidnapped her with Ishu as well?? Think, yaar!!
Raghav: Why not?? (All look at him in confused) Yes… There is a possible in this… Are you all forgotten?? Ashok and Kamini are Oberois enemies… They wanted to destroy the Oberois at any cost…
Ranveer: Exactly!!! So, they started with Gauri, Omkara’s wife… Omkara will be broken if Gauri died… Shivaay’s weakness is Omkara… Shivaay will be broken if Omkara is broken… Then, the Oberois can be easily destroyed…

Dush: But, the Oberois are not broken after that… They were shattered for few months but still they stay strong for Omkara… So, Kamini and Ashok’s plan was backfired…
Karan: And now, they wanted to kill Omkara by making the chandelier fell on him but Ishu saved him… (Thinks a while) Wait!! Why he didn’t kill Ishu?? He just kill Gauri… What was his plan??
Ranveer: No, Karan… He must have hit Ishu terribly on her head… That’s why she lost her memories… Ishu must have fainted that time and he thought that she is died… So, he makes like Ishu killed Gauri… So that no one will doubt him and the case will be closed…
Raghav: He must not expect that Ishu survived from the accident… But, his good luck, that Ishu didn’t remember about the accident…
Dush: It can be… Wait!! If he hit her terribly on her head, maybe he was the one hit her hand too…

Karan: Exactly!! blo*dy idiot!! I’m not going to spare him for what he did to our Ishu…
Ranveer: Guys, again this is our assumption… To know the entire truth, we must get him first… Don’t know where that idiot went… Let’s go back first… All must be wondering where are we… (Karan starts the car and drive to Raichand Mansion)

OBEROI INDUSTRIES

Shivaay’s Office

ShiOmRu are checking the footages that given by Khanna… They go through everything carefully… Siddharth too come and joins them…
Sid: Did you find anything??

Shivaay: Not yet… Still we are checking… (Still looking at the footage… Suddenly, his gaze fixed on something) Look there!! (Pointing at the video… All look at the video but they couldn’t see anything…) Wait!! Let me rewind first…(he rewind the video and they see someone dressed in black walking with a saw in his hand… They cannot see his face because it’s covered with a black cloth… He is walking towards the terrace where the rope of the chandelier has been tied and started to cut it… He almost finished cutting the rope but tensed looking at down… He just runs from there without finish cutting it… Shivaay stops the video and look each other in confused…)
Om: Why he ran from there without finish cutting the rope??

Rudra: The way he ran like he saw something down there…
Sid: Not something… It must be someone… (Thinks something) Robin!! Yes!! Robin was upstairs answering his call… This guy must have seen him and escaped before Robin could see him…
Shivaay: Yeah… You are right… Robin was the one rushing from upstairs and kicked the chandelier… This guy must be scared and ran away from there…

Om: But, we can’t see his face… We don’t know he is that Ashok or not…
Rudra: Don’t worry, O… No matter how intelligent a criminal is, he must left any evidence there…
Sid: Rudra is right… If we go and check at the terrace, we might can get some clues…
Om: Then, come let’s go and check there… If I get the person, I’m not going to spare him for hurting my Ishana… (Angrily without realising what he is saying… ShiRuSid just smile listening to him…)
Shivaay: (hugs Omkara’s shoulder) Relax, Om… Let’s go first… Rudra, our family must not aware of this… They will very much worry… (Rudra nods his head… They leave to Oberoi Mansion…)

RAICHAND MANSION

Ishana’s Room

Ishana just wake up from her sleep… She sees Swetlana and NiTiMi sitting beside her… She smiles looking at them… Swetlana helps Ishu to sit properly…
Swet: How are you feeling now??
Ishu: (lies on her shoulder) So boring, anni… I don’t like to just lying here… Please, anni… Take me outside… At least, to the hall… I’m feeling like a patient by just staying here… (NiTiMi smile listening to her)
Swet: Ok… Let your brothers or jijus come… I’ll ask them to take you outside…
Ishu: (kisses her cheek) Thanks, anni…
Swet: (thinks a while) Ishu, can I ask you something??

Ishu: Do you need any permission?? Just ask me…
Swet: Ishu, did your right hand had been hit by anything hard before?? (Ishu looks at her confusingly) I mean have you mistakenly hit your hand with anything hard??
Ishu: (thinks a while) No, anni… I didn’t hit my hand with anything before…
Swet: Or has anyone hit you before??

Ishu: (chuckles) No, anni… If anyone lay his hand on me, that will be the last day of the person… Who dare to touch Siddharth Raichand’s sister?? (Swetlana is thinking something) Why are you asking this, anni??
Swet: Nothing, dear… Just simply asking… Ok… You take rest first… I’ll go and see if your brothers and jijus come ready or not… (Ishana nods and Swetlana leaves from the room…)
Ishu: (towards NiTiMi) Why anni asked like that??
Nivi: Actually, the doctor asked about your hand being weak… That is what she is asking I think…

Tia: You are sure, Ishu baby that you didn’t get hit by anything hard??
Ishu: I don’t remember anything happened like that…
Mithra: (thinks a while and goes near Ishana) Ishu, last time when that creep tried to misbehave with you, did he hit your hand?? (Ishana tries to recall)
Ishu: No, akka… He just slapped me and tried to pull my cl… (Stops looking at their reaction… They feel bad for asking her…)
Mithra: Sorry, Ishu… I didn’t mean to…(Ishana stops her)

Ishu: It’s ok, akka… You asked me because you care for me… I don’t mind… In fact, I didn’t care for what he tried to do with me…
Nivi: Maybe, you didn’t care for it… But, we care for it… Till now we never forget his behaviour towards you… If we saw him, that will be the last day for him…
Tia: Exactly, Nivi di… I thought to attack him after coming here but don’t know where he went…
Ishu: (thinks something)(stammers) Leave it, ka… Just think that the trouble has gone… (NiTiMi look at her confusingly while Ishana just smiles at them)

Arjun’s room

Arjun is reading a file and Swetlana came that time… Arjun looks at her…
Swet: I asked Ishu but she said nothing happened like that… I could feel she is saying the truth only…
Arjun: Yes, bhabhi… She is saying the truth but that is not the truth…
Swet: (confused) What?? I don’t understand…

Arjun: I read her file that we got from the hospital last night… It is stated that she had head injury and hand injury… If you remember, when Dev brought her to Chennai, her head and hand was bandaged… That means her hand started to give problem after the accident only… But, she doesn’t remember it…

Swet: Arjun, is that stated the reason for her injuries?? I mean like the doctor said is she beaten by someone??
Arjun: No, bhabhi… It’s only stated about her injuries due to hard hit… No further information regarding this…
Swet: (sighs) Our effort went waste only… I thought if Ishu was really beaten up by someone, I want to whack that person for hitting my Ishu… Poor girl… Already she is feeling guilty for causing a death… And she doesn’t even remembers what really happened that day…
Arjun: (thinks something) Bhabhi, what did you say??
Swet: (confused) What??
Arjun: You said that Ishu caused a death and she didn’t remember it!!

Swet: Yeah!! So??
Arjun: Bhabhi, there is a possible that Ishu never did the accident!!
Swet: What are you saying, Arjun??
Arjun: Bhabhi, if you recall what the doctor said to us, you can join the dots… The doctor is very sure the problem with her hand is not because of a mere accident… It only can happen if she is hit by something hard… So, there is a possible that Ishu was hit by someone that day and make it looked like an accident…

Swet: Who?? And why??
Arjun: Don’t know, bhabhi… We have to find ourselves… A lot of questions are running in my mind… Who hit our Ishu and why?? Who is the girl that we believed her death caused by Ishu?? How Ishu is related with the girl?? (Looks at her) Why Ishu came to Mumbai that day??
Swet: Dev said that he needs to get some stuffs from his Mumbai office… Ishu was on break that time… So, he took Ishu with him…
Arjun: (smirks) Don’t you find it strange that time?? (Swetlana looks at him questioningly) Ishu can’t stay a day without seeing us… That’s why she chose a college at Chennai itself which will make her easy to travel from our house… We told her to go and study at overseas but she is very adamant to not to leave us and go…

Swet: (holds her head) Arjun, please tell clearly what are you trying to say?? My head is spinning…
Arjun: Bhabhi, just think… A girl who can’t stay without seeing her family was willing to go to Mumbai…
Swet: Dev was with her that time, Arjun… That’s why she came… We thought they wanted to spend some time together…

Arjun: They don’t have to come to Mumbai to spend their time together… They can do it at Chennai itself… And our Ishu is not like that… There must be another reason that they came here that time… I was not there that time and I came after learn about the accident only… (Thinks a while) Bhabhi, did anything happened that time?? Maybe you didn’t give importance to it… Did you find any difference in anyone’s behaviour??

Swet: Nothing serious happened… And all were behaving nor…(doesn’t finish her sentence and tries to recall… Arjun looks at her…) Yes, Arjun… I remembered… I was admitted in the hospital because of stomach pain… They told me it was just an appendix… But, all of them are shattered that time… I was wondering why they all were sad for a small matter… And, Ishu called me bhabhi instead of anni… IshDev and RaDuKa behaviour were totally different that time… I don’t know that I lost my baby that time… (Holds her stomach and cries) They were shattered because of aborting my baby…

Arjun: (feels bad for making her recalling her past… He hugs her shoulder…) I’m sorry, bhabhi… I didn’t mean to hurt you…
Swet: (smiles and cups his face with one hand) It’s ok… I know about my devar… Don’t worry… I’m fine…
Arjun: (holds her hand which is holding his face) We cannot change the past, bhabhi… Just think that whatever happened only for good… (Swetlana sobs and nods her head) Mark my word, bhabhi… You definitely will give birth to a baby soon… And you will be the world’s best mother… (Arjun wipes her tears)
Swet: Why?? Now, I’m not a best mother??
Arjun: Meri pyaari bhabhi, you are the best mother for us and will be the best mother for your child… (Swetlana smiles and hugs him)

Swet: (breaks the hug) Ok… Now, coming to our mission… Where I stopped just now?? (Thinks) Yes… Their behaviour were different after my abortion… They used to talk secretly most of the time… Then, after few days, IshDev came to Mumbai… You know what happened after that…
Arjun: (thinks to himself) That means it has something to do with bhabhi’s abortion… I need to find out what… Definitely RaDuKa aware of that… (Swetlana sees him thinking something)
Swet: (snaps her fingers) What are you thinking??

Arjun: (looks at her and thinks: I can’t tell this to bhabhi, first… She will feel hurt again…) Nothing, bhabhi… Just trying to think if we can do anything…
Swet: Ok… I also will think what we can do… Tell me if you find out anything… I’ll go and see Ishu first… (Turns to go but remembered something and turns back to him) Arjun, forget to tell you… Ishu is feeling bored staying in the room… Let’s take her around our mansion…
Arjun: Sure, bhabhi… Let’s go… (Both of them leaves to Ishana’s room…)
